That looked way too slow to be a Doom game, can't believe this is what they had to show after the positive word of mouth that resulted from the closed doors reveal almost a year ago. QTE-finishers seem like such a superfluous addition to a first-person shooter too, especially when the creatures and gibs look like something out of a Joe Mad comic instead of as sick as they should.

I expected better, especially after the amazing job Machinegames did with the recent Wolfenstein games.

Fantastic that Fallout 4 is only five months away. Just finished watching the E3 gameplay footage (the video showing how you can manually build entire settlements is particularly interesting) - looks good aside from animations and to a lesser than usual degree, faces.
Even with better lighting, shaders etc. it still remains visible that it's yet another iteration of the same game engine that was used for Morrowind 13 years ago.

Fallout4 looks really fun, I hope my toaster can run it at lowest settings.
I skipped around a bit so I may have missed if there is co-op or not. That is the one thing that made games fun for me, was playing them with friends. We used to play Doom1 co-op over our 28k lines for hours, helping eachother get through the game.

My video card doesn't do DX11, so I can't play Witcher3, haven't tried GTA5.
My cpu is 2.9ghz, 4core, gpu = radeon 4870 (I think), 8gb ram.
If Fallout can run without dx11, I might be able to run it.

@Spokepoker looks like you need an upgrade. I think one thing you can do is get 2 amd 280 and go crossfire. Not cheap but I think you get more of your money's worth in the long run. Get a cheaper version of an i5 second or third generation will do. Let me know if you have any more questions.

CKII is a lot of more dynasty building, assassinations, intrigue, and marriages to secure alliances. It's not as country based and steamrolling enemies has more dire consequences. Expand certain ways and you could end up having a lot of people invading you.

Also the Church is a bigger deal with you having the ability to set up Anti-Pope's and what not.

Better way to say it would be definitely more interpersonal with different characters. Definitely have to play more carefully as if you piss off the bigger empires like the Byzantines or HRE they could field lots of troops against you rather than say a Duke under the Emperor whom individually invades your land. Not to mention Crusades or Jihad's by luck can land you with enormous amounts of land. Got the whole of Spain once without trying when I sent only a single army to help fight a newly risen Caliphate over there while the other guys did all the fighting.

I've been using gametrailers (you need adblock for it due to the dumb commercials) and youtube.

This trailer is the best gameplay trailer I have ever seen. It easily cuts between the different playing styles. I hope the game is at least as good as the 2nd was. It would be nice if more games gave this much info in terms of gameplay.

This looks exciting due it being developed by the guy who made Metroid Prime. I thought Nintendo still owned the group but I guess not.

This video might deserve its own thread since this game is probably a dream game for a lot of you. Final Fantasy 7 remake with at least Final Fantasy 13 graphics... on ps4 and sounds like other consoles. The video teaser sucks though doesn't show much and no gameplay. I would think gameplay would easier to pull of than cinemas since the models are much lower resolution and the rendering is real time.

The Square guys have trolled E3 so many times with massive fake-outs. I just hope it comes out on PC, but I'm spending money no matter what.

So I've been praying for a remake for like over 10 years. It's still my favorite game of all time. I don't think I've been this hyped about a video game for a long time.

Shenmue 3 kickstarter is finally announced as well. There are visual improvement yet I'm not sure how far they will get with 4 million. Probably will have to make it episodic. Graphics are improved since dreamcast to about ps3 level.

This game looks stunning. Minus a point for women being out of the cave and being superpowered. They can do that detailed of hair now with these consoles? The graphics looks like a cinema with zelda like gameplay.

This is shaping up to be the most impressive e3 in a long time. Hopefully it will continue this pace all week.

I've downloaded Assassin's Creed Unity and it's unplayable due to lags and low FPS despite my brand new PC that plays GTA 5 with no problem. I've done a lot of research and it's because the game is just poorly produced by Ubisoft and no one can play it. Even professional gamers with beast-like computers can't play it in high graphics. Ubisoft made a lot of updates, I've tried update 4 which is the biggest one, but it didn't change anything.

This is too bad because the game looks very good. A lot of new stuff compared to the previous games, especially about combat and upgrading skills. I want to play this fucking game bad.

Does anyone know a solution or can anyone here play it without trouble?

They broke 2 mill overnight, i think they'll pass 4mill handily to give some extra room.

Eh, I'm not really going to spend money on new hardware to play video games, if it runs, I'll play it, if not, then no big worry.
Most of the hardware was donated anyways, power supply, vid card, hard drive, I got from other people. I just bought the cpu motherboard and ram myself, way back in the day. I just recently got it working again, the video card was on the fritz, so I tossed it in the oven at 385 for 8 minutes, and it works again.
When Fallout4 comes out, I'll get a torrent of it, just to see if it will run. If it's singleplayer only, I won't buy it, if it has co-op (and runs), then I will buy it.

I'm a massive Metal Gear Solid fan and this game looks tremendous, I am really curious on where the story will go as Kojima has a way of weaving little bits of information and back story throughout all the games.

That game is definitely a purchase for me.
