Exciting Bruins Hurricanes Game 1 Semifinals Thursday Night at TD Garden in Boston - with McAvoy suspended 1 game, Clifton stepped up and the Bruins won 5-2 even though the Hate Everything Boston and New England Land of Champions (Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots etc.), Sports Announcers reported Canes were playing together much more aggressively (Fore Checking, shut down 3 of 5 Penalty periods, etc) and yet "somehow" Boston still won with two penalty goals, an Empty Net Goal and Wagner's smart one on one Goal with just over 2 minutes remaining.
With McAvoy back with speed and tough Irish fighting tenacity and skill matched with Chara's huge presence and discipline along with the Pasternak, Bergeron to Marchand relentless forward line as well as the other shifts stepping up will make for a great 2nd Game 3 PM Sunday in Boston.

Damn, St Louis just got robbed by the refs in OT. That was undoubtedly a hand pass that led to the San Jose goal. How the fuck did none of the 4 officials on the ice see that? I've never seen a team get so many breaks from the refs than San Jose has this playoffs. At least it was game 3 and not game 7 lol. Wow.

Good for the Bruins but now I'm even more pissed at my Queefs for choking away three (3!) series leads.
They would have beaten CBJ in seven and waxed the Canes in five, and match up well with Man Jose (season series sweep).
Fuck this gay earth.

Congrats to all the Bostonians here for the Bruins but you're not done yet. I wouldn't underestimate San Jose or St Louis. I'd say that St Louis will use last night's debacle to fuel their fire to take down the Sharks and deep down, the Sharks know they got a fake win which will play psychologically on them.
Should be a good final either way with Boston as the favorite and the best player of the playoffs so far in Rask but either SJ or Stl can beat the Bruins.

Can SJ keep their season alive tonight with injuries galore? I think the STL closes it out tonight setting up a Blues-Bruins final which could be epic.
