It is sort of funny going through the twitter nonsense. One person told Lena Durham lol.
A lot of them can easily be grouped into the:
1) The writer is a fucking asshole
2) I'm so mad
3) 100% truth - the guys who agree
4) The how dare you judge me group
But the funniest one is the "Apparently, I am a slut" group but it is said with sarcasm. And you know there will not be the honest review of one's life and think about if they are. They can't do it because it is too scary. Tattoos are like armor in some way, in some way screaming to the world "you can't hurt me" or "you can't hurt me any more than I have already be hurt." I am always fascinated by people who won't do the work, won't look at oneself, won't own the mistakes. Or in some cases not mistakes they made, but they sadly they were abused or hurt as children. Because doing so would unload a world of hurt, so it is easy to shout/scream at others because in their mind it is much better than them to hurt others than feel the hurt that they have been trying to ignore/cover for so many years.
If they honestly sat with the question, "Am I a slut" and really were honest about it, I bet many would breakdown in tears.
Edit: If someone called you a red toad or something random, most guys here would laugh it off. Because it isn't true. But if someone called you out for something that was legit/real, it might push a button and you might flip out. So it is sort of hilarious the anger this article is drawing, if you are not a slut, move along. What is there to react to?
Fate whispers to the warrior, "You cannot withstand the storm." And the warrior whispers back, "I am the storm."
