Roosh, skip Estonia and head to my country Lithuania. Believe it or not it actually has 2nd tier cities unlike Latvia/Estonia and is not as overrun with stag parties. Also, if you do go to Lithuania skip the capital (Vilnius) and head for Kaunas which is quite cosmopolitan, cheap, and has a very happening night-life for a relatively small city (350k). I believe one of the posters on this forum (Subutu?) was there recently and left with great impressions.

When I read Roosh's impressions of Riga, I couldn't believe it. I am still shocked a bit.

I was there this summer, and it was amazing. I felt like in paradise. The most beautiful girls I have ever seen in my life, and they were super friendly (even when approached by a short and disgustingly ugly guy like me).

Already the very first girl I cold approached (daytime), I got an instant date with her. Professional fashion model, top agency, used to work in Paris etc.

I have a very good friend in NJ who is short pudgy and in the words of my one female friend, looks like a troll.

What's stopping you from cutting your losses and leaving immediately?

Sure you lose like 2 weeks in rent out of the 1 month apartment lease going unused, but you would end up saving the 2 weeks of going out money... and more importantly, you'll save your time. Your overall $ losses wouldn't be that much and you'll end up being happier the sooner you get out of the country (it sounds like).

The women are conservative and dont fuck easy. They never have, even in the late 90's. Thing is, once you are no longer in that box, things become much, much easier. They like foreign men, they actually like all men, they just dont like foreign sex tourists and drunkards. Its a smallish place so most are very concerned about being seen with the wrong foreigners. There is also a shortage of men there, although I am sure that is starting to improve as the economy improves.

The best thing that ever happened to the local men was cheap flights from RyanAir it seems. Still, I found Latvian women to be very easy to build rapport with once you had broken through the initial barrier. It just seems as if the barrier is far higher at the moment :/

Get your story and routine straight as a matter of priority. It seems as if the resentment of the Brits and Italians has grown stronger over the last 3 years so you need to be there for something else other than a holiday. Play up the writer/artist thing. Feign a lot of interest in local culture, stereotypes, "real latvia" type thing. It will throw them off. Show less interest in them initially, more interest in Latvia and Riga at first. Transition gradually as you build rapport with them.

Latvia has been a happy hunting ground for me, along with Estonia, although it sounds like Riga is quickly headed the same way Prague went. Tallinn would be much the same now I expect. Tallinn had the problem of the sex starved Finns even before the Brits invaded. These places in the late 90's were ridiculous, but I guess we need to accept the fact that they are changing. So chances are Tallinn could be quite similar.

Its a different place in summer though and I wonder if this has not been a reason why you found the women to not match the Polish looks wise. I always thought the opposite, although Poland has been one of the EE countries I have not spent that much time in so its based more on the Poles I meet abroad, so its been reserved judgement. Im also a bit concerned about the talk of fatties. Please tell me this is not so. WTF has happened in the last 3-4 years?

Dude just go to Moldova or Belarus if you are still uncertain about Russia. If you want off the beaten track, try those shit pits on for size. And they are shit pits, hence the reason why no one goes on holiday there, but they are less spoiled and you might find them a bit more interesting. They are still stuck in the 80's hahahha

Hooligan: I'm not even talking about ease of hooking up. Besides the top 3 snobby clubs where the rich/famous guys go (girls tell me I should visit because 'basketball players go there', the quality is low. Last night I was at a middle-of-the-road large club here, waiting and waiting for just one opportunity. In Poland I didn't have to wait that long.

There are also two major logistical issues:

1. Rampant cockblocking. Lots of times it's instant, before the minute mark, before I have a chance to do anything. I've been calling out cockblockers here, the first time since I was in America (about a year ago).

2. Girls with guys. Half the girls in the club are with their boyfriends. Of what's remaining, a small percentage are cute, and they're doing the dance-in-a-circle thing. The optimal game seems to be frat boy game where you drink a lot and dance all night.

Day game it's easier to get things started, but I'm running into shy/quiet natures. Plus it's winter so Monday-Thursday is a ghost town
