So this girl that I am swooping gave me a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar.
She says it is super good for your health.
It is supposed to be good for cleansing your system, weight loss etc.
Anyone try this stuff?
If so, bust out the good, the bad and the ugly.

Both.
I have a sip or 2 almost every morning, afternoon, and night.
And, I also mix it with some other stuff to do a home made facial.

I used to put ACV on my face awhile back as part of my skincare regiment. I had compliments on how smooth my skin was when I used it. Definitely give it a try.

I've been drinking this for a little while. No major effects so far, but I'd love to hear other people's success with it in various uses. I think I'm going to try it on my hair (in place of conditioner) and skin (body acne) next.
I'm trying to replace as many things as possible with peroxide, baking soda, ACV, borax and coconut oil. I want to carry around a few bottles of each and be able to McGuyver my way through all kinds of shit.
So far:
Body / facial wash: water + baking soda + borax
Shampoo: water + baking soda + borax
Deodorant: water + baking soda
Toothpaste: baking soda + peroxide
Mouthwash: peroxide + water
Moisturizer: coconut oil
Cooking oil: coconut oil
Personal lube: coconut oil
Going to try:
Detergent: baking soda + borax
Conditioner: ACV + coconut oil
Face / body skin toner: ACV + water

ACV has been used by Appalachian Highlanders for many years. I've used it for sunburn.
Coconut oil is awesome too! Great for cooking, hair tonic, and sex lube.

If you drink a shot of ACV a day, bugs will stop biting you. My brother in law works outdoors and he does this daily.

Feel free to thank this girl. I discovered this stuff when I suddenly suffered a first case of "acid reflux" last year. I tried the usual drugs, with poor results - think really bad gut-ache that comes and goes like a wave action. I found out about this stuff on a homeopathic medicine website, hit Whole Foods and followed the recommendation. I was symptom free within a couple of hours. I now use this stuff daily - one Tbl in 8oz of water, with a packet of Splenda. Tastes like tart apple cider. I swear by it. Also works as a hair conditioner believe it or not. Mix 1 to 4 parts water. Stuff has multiple uses, much like baking soda.
I'm gonna have to check this out. I just started getting acid reflux in the worst way.

For facials, mix your Bragg's ACV with this:

This is what I'm using for my face but with water. I want to try it with ACV next. Everyone should get that. My face looks amazing for a few days after using it.
I have bad heartburn and gas. I've always had a weak stomach since as far as I can remember. I wouldn't mind trying ACV out for this and everything else but I've been reading it causes some weight loss. Is this true?

Houston, I've been taking it and my energy has jumped up like a muthafcuka (thanks G).
The other night I had shyt to do and I ended up only having 3 hours sleep before having to rouse for work.
I was able to soldier the whole day without feeling fcuked.
You will probably experience weight loss but cutting up, like fat loss i.e gut (if you have one) and loss of angel wings.
But like Roosh said, get the one with the mother. Don't go and buy that cheap Publix shyt. Try and aim for Bragg's if possible.
Holla back and let me know what your experience is.

If apple cider vinegar doesn't work for any of you, there are tons of other types available. I cook almost everyday and use coconut vinegar or palm vinegar to make different types of Asian dishes like Filipino adobo sauce. And I use sherry vinegar to flavor soups like french onion.
If you're looking to flavor dishes and cut down on your sodium/salt intake, try vinegar for seasoning. It's a trick that a lot of chefs use in lieu of salt.
Just a thought.
