What's the matter with Toronto? Seriously...

guys, VAN CITY!

Not that I've ever been, but I hear from my friends who come from Vancouver that it is an amazing place. Beautiful weather, laid back vibe, and EXTREMELY FRIENDLY PPL.

I can only speak about asian girls, but they say vancouver asian girls are the friendliest and easiest to approach. Obviously weather and standard of living are factors, but they sa the biggest reason the talent is so welcoming is because there's so much female competition. Pretty girls are the norm, so their egos are stay contained.

Also, I've heard the same thing about Singapore.

Vancouver is terrible! It's a terrible city too. Toronto is a much better city and you still deal with the same issues with women. If you really like asian women than maybe you'd prefer it to Toronto but I have never once had a good time there. At least in Toronto I've had a few good nights.

Funny thing is if you mention any of these sentiments on any mainstream Toronto website, you'd get slammed big time by the locals. There's a lot of people in this city who regard Toronto as "the centre of the universe". Not kidding. Always from people who've never been anywhere. And it's because most of Toronto's population is comprised of FOB immigrants from Third World dumps and transplants from bumfuck hick towns.

A big problem is Canadians aren't particularly cultured or well-travelled. A Canadian's idea of a vacation is a weekend at the cottage by the lake, or if they're adventurous a week in an all-inclusive resort in Cuba. Contrast this to Aussies for whom an overseas vacation is an annual ritual. There's a certain insular Toronto-centrism that's unbecoming of a truly international, cosmopolitan city.

Someone mentioned demographics and it has a lot to do with the poor social vibe and general uptight nature of this city. In Toronto the biggest groups are repressed anal-retentive WASPs, stonefaced Asians, and insular Indians & Muslims. Even the Southern Europeans here (Italians, Greeks, Portuguese) seem mellowed out compared to their cousins back home.

Contrast Toronto to another huge, diverse immigrant hub - New York. In NYC there's a healthy mix of extroverted groups - loquacious Jews, in-your-face Italians, outgoing Puerto Ricans/Dominicans, and a huge black population. In spite of similar levels of diversity, the social vibe in NYC vs. Toronto is very different. ie. chatting with strangers on the subway is common in NYC; this is a major social faux pas in Toronto.

Once you've travelled overseas and visited some REAL cities with an active street life, where people are relaxed and the women are warm and friendly, coming back to Toronto can be hella depressing.

Nail. Hammer. Head.
This can be summed up for any major Canadian city. I am proud to be Canadian but it is bothersome how uncultured our nation is. They get so insecure and defensive about their respective towns/cities as well on this matter, but it's true.

Now in smaller towns you will find more laid back women that don't have as big of a beatch shield or whatever. However, I agree with a lot of the sentiments about Toronto women from this article. I dated one and she was an absolute nightmare. The most self-entitled woman I ever dated and was the reason I set out to stop dating Canadian women. She brought nothing to the table but wanted her cake and to eat it too.

Sad thing was, this girl in TO wasn't that much different from the slags I dated in Calgary. Now you would think a once proud and smaller community like Calgary would have more easy going women. Umm no. They are so cold you get a chill from them just walking by them on the street. It has gotten progressively worse over the years (thanks to oil money) and when I left I couldn't have been happier.

You would think women in London are more pretentious but I have never once been asked about my job or had any other material discussions within the first hour of meeting a woman here. Maybe once or twice but not on the same scale as TO or Calgary. This is one of the first questions...FIRST....they will ask. I never answer it and immediately I am done with them when this is asked. If you don't make loads of money in these cities (or pretend to live this lifestyle of luxury) I have no idea how you attract the majority of women there.

The previous bf of the girl from TO showered her with money and gifts and that has played a large part of this phenomenon. Guys with no game, using material goods to attract women. This is why you should rarely ever seriously date a woman from these cities...unless she's a rare breed. There are some good ones obviously.

Some good points in your statement. The scary thing is alot of women are hoping to be spoilt or meet Mr BIG.

I was downtown on King St last thursday and the place is packed with hot chicks. Funny enough there seemed to be a different vibe, alot of girls seemed to be on the prowl. I will check it out this week since TIFF is going on, bars actually close later this week.

I am a bit surprised to hear that other Canadian cities have the same attitude as Toronto, it is no secret that the smaller towns are the place to go hunting.

I'm new to this sight but am very glad to find brothers that share the same sentiments. I also go back to the good old days when you could actually go out to a CLUB to meet woemn. My only worries were making sure to have a matching outfit with a pen that was working. Still remember Astrolight, Twightlight Zone, Cluz Z, Haggermans, Spectrum, Focus, RPM, Studio 69, Park Avenue, and especially Atlantis on long weekends when John Sally hosted it.

I eventually gave up on dating within my community (West Indian) because of the selfish, "stoosh" mentality/attitude the came about with BET/MTV, Raptors, and a whole lot of insecure men who meesed up the game by paying for a woman i.e shopping dates, cars and even rent... lol. Over the last few years I have enjoyed dating European and S American woman I met at Salsa clubs, Ultra, Music and some places in the 905's. However, recently I have exeperienced the same bullshit issues that many of you are commenting on.

So different times call for different approaches. I don't bother with most clubs up and focuss on Day game at malls and outdoor events, when I can. I notice that there is a childhood mentality that has developed with these T.O chicks that has them wanting constant attention from men who they feel will never leave them. Just look at alot of the guys you see with hot woman and I bet that its not due to their physical appearence but rather the emotional and finanical security aspects. What has been worked for me lately was rolling with a female wingman who is open minded and also enjoys meeting other women. Unfortunately I messed that up by sleeping with that wingwoman.

So now I'm resorting to online dating & saving my money and vacation time to go to places where you don't have to deal with all the mommy/daddy issues. Had an amazing time this year in Germany, Stolkholm, Thailand, Bali - hated Singapore and London. Going to Bucharest this month based on some of the wicked reports I have read from you guys & memories of the Romanian chicks from the good old days when they could come here on stirpper visas aka farm helpers. lol

Toronto homies, I remember seeing this video for a Toronto 'jersey shore styled' show called 'Lake Shore'. My question is: how well does this show portray toronto and the toronto scene? Most of these type of shows are exaggerated caricatures of whatever scene they are portraying, so just wondering.

This shit looked ridiculous and I'm guessing this is the 905 trash some of you have talked about.

My friend pulls regularly from the malls near where he lives. He told me to hit up Jane and Wilson and I can scoop black lizards until I'm sick.
I was also thinking of Albion malls so I can scoop some Somalians.

What's your take on that? If I want to scoop easy black Toronto lizards where would you suggest?

I'm using POF, MeetmeinTo, Tagged and Ashelymadison. Not sure what to tell you about the malls where you mentioned, as I am now in |Missisauga and have some success once in a while at sq1 & erin mills town center. The summer events here like the rib fest were easy pickings. I would suggest Dixie Outlet mall for what your looking for.

Not sure what to tell you about the malls you mentioned since I haven't been around those parts in along time. I'm in Sauga now & have occasional success/luck at Square 1, and even Erin Mills town center. I think you might find your "lizards" at Dixie outlet mall on the weekends. Especially by the main bus stop by the Food court exit. I was there this weekend grabbing some summer clothes from the Guess store for my upcoming Italy and Romania trip. (leaving tmw)

Are these black lizards ghetto or the more classy upper middle class ones?
I like Ethopian girls and would love to practice my game on more of them.
These days all I see are white lizards(Asian reptiles in Toronto are substandard for me). I would like to diversify my lizard shotgun to target a wider population of reptiles in Toronto.

Roll out with me one day to Albion mall. It's teaming with East Africans (Eritrea, Somalians, Ethopians). You can go for the Ethopians and I'll work the Somalians.

I don't have much success with ghetto black lizards (unless they have a streak of middle class hidden beneath). So that would probably be more classy upper middle class.

It's about time, bro, I've been pushing for this invite for a minute. Let's trade horror stories about expensive London, England is and how much better Toronto is.

Then let's complain about how stoosh Toronto lizards are and then let's scheme on getting into some Peterborough lizards.

I was supposed to reach that Ukranian festival with Tdot kid but I got a work call just when I was putting on my shoes and trousers (bastids).

What's the matter with Toronto? Seriously...

greetings.. I am from Toronto and literally signed up just to make a post in this thread.
As I said I am from Toronto but i've traveled a few places definitely more than 10 countries. Also I was not born here. I can say to within a pretty close certainty that this blog entry in the original post was bang on. Toronto women are everything described from "Cold" to "pretentious"...

As I said i've traveled to various countries and cities around the world and have always had a good time, where the female gender was concerned if not getting laid atleast been entertained with good conversation or good fun. Toronto though forget about it brothers... Just forget about it.

Yea Toronto women might be "cold" or "bitches" but gaming here has taught me how to be more alpha, confident and more centered as a man. So even though I hate Toronto I love it at the same time. It is a challange to game in Toronto but I love it, everytime I go out and game, I am thrilled to take on the challange. The one huge plus in gaming in Toronto is your game will improve immensly.

You have a excellent point but sometimes shit just isn't worth it. In my experience hahaha. Especially when iam not out gaming, iam just out trying to have fun. These bitches have their faces all twisted up and incapable of having fun.
