Things You Will Accomplish in 2015

Something I've realized is that clear intentions and creating a vision for your life are tantamount to succeeding and accomplishing.

Not just your "goals" but ACCOMPLISHING.

Your goals, your day to day routines, the shit you need to take after coffee.

The clearer and more specific the better, set timelines if possible with measurable checkpoints. "30% increase of 1 rep max deadlift in 6 months".

This thread will be dedicated to those of us with the balls to DECLARE our intentions to accomplish the vision we create for ourselves.

These declarations should be outside of your comfort zone. In other words, shit you aren't quite sure you can do. Shit you need support for to keep going.

This thread will also force you to be accountable by the other posters on it. We will hold each other to the standard of "Is this in alignment with your vision or not"?

If not it shouldn't be done.

"Fisto where are you on X goal, did you get Y yet"?

"Why not"?

"Get your ass in gear then"!

I just read The Alchemist and there were some passages that stood out to me.

One of which conveyed the idea that we each have our own "Personal Legend" to accomplish.

When we are on the path of our "Personal Legend" we are happy even when we are not being successful momentarily.

If every hour is spent pursuing this Personal Legend you will get into adventure, you will meet interesting people, you will experience meaningfulness in your life.

In my heart, I know this is the truth.

I am declaring the following right now;

1) I will be in Super Hero Shape by March. I will hit personal records on benchmark workouts in Crossfit.

2) I will be conversational in Spanish by the end of March.

3) I will have a cordial relationship with my children's mother by March.

4) I will have finished my first book by February 15th.

5) I will have 10k per month in passive income by the end of June.

6) I will hit my one year of not drinking by the end of May

7) I will have my 2nd book finished by the end of June.

That's the first half of the year covered. I'll make new declarations as needed.

-Do my first muscle up by July
-Have some sort of passive income even if its $200 a month by July
-Get my knee recovered so I can play soccer again (may need another surgery..)
-Earning $1000 month online by the end of the year
-1000 juggles with a soccer ball by end of January (PB: 732)

While these goals might seem few or easy to some people, for the past 2 months its all I have ever wanted and its becoming an obsession. I have traveled to 19 countries and all I want to do is get back to traveling but the next time will be when I can actually support myself and travel. In these last two months I have learnt website making skills, basic SEO, basic copywriting, got an app developed and created a blog. If I can achieve a passive income by July this year it will really blow my mind. There is a good chance I will fail miserably as half the time I don't know what I am doing, but I am going to at least try..

I originally had more goals but honestly if I failed all my goals except the making money online I would be fucking happy.

Btw Alchemist is my favourite book. I just bought it again after leaving my first copy on a plane 6 months ago.

Things You Will Accomplish in 2015

Hey guys, been off the face of the planet for a while, but I'm back and ready to make some serious progress. 2015 has kicked off with a vengeance - I've already accomplished things most people never would or even could in their life and I no intention of slowing down, either

- I will go from essentially nothing to owning property by the end of this year
- My musical talents will be made valuable and I will have earned at least $5000 from music related exploits
- +1 on the superhero body
- I will be better read than ever, and a published author
- I will be conversationally fluent in German and Russian
- I will be running a fully operational side hustle, even if only on a small scale
- I will be in the process of building a car that will turn every head within a 5 mile radius
- I will also own a motorbike and be licensed to ride it
- Never thought I'd say this, but I'd potentially like to slow down on the hardcore narcotics.

That's a lot to think about and accomplish. Some of those goals are pretty lofty and scary, but I'm ready to take on anything. I'm not exactly old, however I'm only a couple short years from 25. I have the potential, the brilliance, the psychopathic dedication, and the desire to do something incredibly special with my life. I can't say for sure how long it will take me to get there, or even exactly where 'there' is, but believe me, it's going to be sensational. I'm going to have something to show for my efforts by the end of this year, and the kind of clarity that will lift everyone around me. This is gonna be a tough year but I couldn't be more stoked right now

Got into redpill / game a few months ago and this will be the first full year I will be entering with this new mindset.

Some of my goals are to:

- Have a purple belt in BJJ by the end of the year.
- Have some passive income from online (right now I haven't started anything on this).
- Be conversational in Mandarin.
- Have a 30% increase from my 2014 notch count.

I definitely have my annual goals, but these are some small microcosms of some of them that are gonna be accomplished by the end of the month.

1. Get my first article up on ROK.
2. Know the Russian Alphabet.
3. Get a streak on my Habit Chart.

-Go after brick-and-mortar clients back in the U.S for my copywriting biz

-Building a passive income of $2,000 a month (via info products)

-Learn to speak conversational Thai (and read it)

-Get to 185lbs shredded

-Get a pimped-out fully serviced apartment in the best part of town

-Network with some successful internet entrepreneurs. Strangely haven't met a single one yet here in CM.

-I've had the crazy idea lately of getting a girlfriend. Kinda tired of the night-life grind...She'd have to be a solid 8.5 though and have her own place. Naturally, she'd be an unwitting member of a rather sizable harem.

1) Not going to drink at all during the whole year. I drank my last drink few minutes before the year changed to 2015.
2) Complete my Bachelor's Degree before the summer and complete my Master's Thesis by the end of this year. Alternatively go to some exchange program at fall. Any recommendations?
3) Increase my notch count by 50% from last year.
4) Go to the gym at least twice a week, get in moderate shape before summer.
5) Learn basic Chinese and average Estonian before summer, improve my Japanese at least to H4 level before Christmas.
6) Start a sport and practice it at least once a week.
7) Create a new website during summer.
8) Write a diary at least once a week.

That's enough for now. It's time to kick some ass and make 2015 the best year yet!

Continue the positive vibes and momentum from 2014.

-I'll be taking some classes that will greatly expand my network in my field, not to mention my earning potential.

-One of my main responsibilities will be heading up a team in a very niche field of work. I plan on designing a professional blog to reflect my expertise and become an authority within that niche field. I'm pretty mobile and global at the moment in terms of where I can work already, but being an authority in this niche will allow me to take on multiple consulting positions globally.

-My job saps a lot of my creative juices as is, but I'd like an outlet to be creative in other ways. I've bought a domain name for a blog I'd like to get up and running. Also, I've invested in some camera equipment to capture and show some of the travel I do. I'm not one for bang-cations, and focus my travel around adventure and nature. I've got a big adventure trip lined up for this year that I'd like to get some professional quality photography and cinematography done with.

-I'm going after the most beautiful and successful girls where I live. I've made the social connections. I'm one of the ten most eligible English speaking bachelors in this city, and I could use a LTR. Been awhile since I've had one and I will pounce on the right opportunity.

-The people important to me will get all of me. I'm flying 16,000 miles RT in 96 hours to attend my best friend's wedding. I'm taking two vacations with my mother and father. They don't know it yet, but I've played the points & miles game to get them business class tickets to meet me for vacation in Tokyo. I check every day to see if first class seats open up, and when they do, you bet I'm putting them on it.

It sounds rosy, because well, it is. But I've worked years for all of this. It's incredible what hard work, and a love of what you do can do to your life. And to think that I'm just getting started.

I posted this in the wrong forum - I was reading the "what you accomplished in 2014" thread when I posted that - not sure how I flipped over. In any case, same difference!

Solid post, Fisto. It sounds like you're really bringing it to another level these days.

I'm already in the middle of a blog post outlining my 2014 and I'll be writing my declarations for 2015 there, but I'll post them here when I'm done.

Your mention of the need for goals that cause discomfort made me think about a quote from "10 Minute Toughness," a book I recently reviewed (maybe you've heard of it already):

“If you are reaching every goal, you are not setting your goals high enough. Coming up short on a goal is not a sign of failure. A goal-setting program is of real use only when goal setting helps you accomplish something you would not have otherwise accomplished.” - Jason Selk

Give it a read. I think you'd like his approach to staying on track.

Keep hitting up yellow bar and talking to dudes, when I was in CM I met a few there who were making money online in some capacity. None of the Neville Medhora caliber though, CM is a chill place.
The entrepreneurs normally situate in the big cities in SEAsia, easier to hire programmers etc.

I'm loving these. I understand the need for vagueness as specific accomplishments could lead to being identified.

Ask yourself how these goals can be measured or quantified.

Figure out some solid dates and even a weekly/daily schedule to work in them.

There should be some structure involved. "Workout 6 days a week for a solid hour each time".
"Study Chinese for 1 and a half hours per day"

Set times for this to occur.

I think some guys are still being a littlr too conservative.

Stretch your minds a little here for whats possible.

If you decided to get a job save all the professional intern stuff for summers. During the year get a gig at a popular college bar / club being a bar back or staff. Work your way to bartender.

Only other good route I believe is getting a job in some outdoors or exercise related job at the university where you are responsible to taking groups out etc...

For Social Circle find the biggest social club on campus that throws parties. Try to become a low ranking officer so you don't have much responsibility but you are in the core group. That + your fraternity will open a ton of options.

You want to cut your time up to get the best return from each.

Good plan though.

Save $ to pimp out your dorm room / alcohol / drugs

- Mini fridge
- Glassware (shot glasses) / Normal drink glasses
- Good sound system
- Have killer playlists that last a few hours each for different moods (pre-game, chill, partying, alone with a chick), also have little Youtube or other funny videos lined up
- Sounds cheesy I know but dumb stuff like a strobe light, lights on the walls etc.. try to turn it in your personal club for little parties of 6-10 people.
- Good decorations
- Good rug, anything that makes girls want to get barefoot and sit or lay around

- If you smoke weed:
- money for a great bong
- a great little pipe for the semi-stoner chicks
- learn to roll a good joint by hand and blow smoke rings etc... girls eat that up

Lastly and this is probably the most under utilized but best weapon with college chicks:

Jello Shots

Learn to make them and use them all the time.

-Keep my uni grades at the high level I've set for myself from last year
-Secure a respected internship in finance for the December Break
- Move up in my student run group
-Consistently hit the gym 3x a week (dong ICF 5x5 at the moment)
-Track my macro's daily (this is proving to be quite tricky, eating as much as i need to grow)
-follow with bulking plan for minimum of 6 months. Ideally around 8
- Approach more girls indirectly on campus and in class.
-More daygame approaches. Since I commute to uni and work basically 4 times a week in the city. I want it to become second nature for me to approach and flirt with cute girls on the train, city, coffeshop or whatever.

1) Spanish:

- Progress reading past ability to read articles and short stories to more academic writing and novels.
- Hammer out indicative and perfect tenses of verbs, particularly irregulars.
- Start to really get a handle for the subjunctive tense.
- In general continue to break into an advanced level of Spanish.

2) Finances:

- Liquidate some assets.
- Work on ways to increase my passive income.

3) Fitness:

- Lose ten to fifteen pounds over the next two to three months.
- Begin to workout and build muscle in my core and upper body after the weight loss.

I'm liking the Spanish theme on here.

1.) My Spanish is teetering on the point of being quite fluent so I decided I'm going to blast my studies and practice and take the DELE C1 exam sometime this year. By December 15 I'll have passed this exam.

2.) Right now my bench press is at 225 and by December I'll be benching 300.

3.) I'll have an engineering position in the oil field that I'll have worked up towards by the end of the year.

4.) Pay off my student debt through saving, writing freelance and eventually translating freelance for extra income.

Let this post hold me accountable for my accomplishments this year.

Happy 2015, hope everyone on here kicks and gets more ass than they did last year .

Coincidently I just finished The Alchemist this week as well (this time in its original Portuguese). My list:

1 - Become the fittest I've ever been by the end of the year
1a - By the end of March I will be able to do 20 sets of 5 pullups + 10 pushups in 20 min and have lost 6-8 pounds.

2 - Improve my finances; by the end of the year I will either have a 25% raise + equity (vs the stock options I have now) in the company I work for or I will have left for greener pastures. I will also begin to payback vs further defer my student loans (though the decclining Brazilian Real is really fucking me here).

3 - Become better at embracing the present*

*I also just finished The Power of Now which expands on one of the themes of The Alchemist, the idea that all that we have is now. Another lessons in The Alchemist is that we need to follow signs, so I'm taking the fact that I read the same message in 2 differnt books within days of eachother as a sign that I need to be more focused on the present and not worry so much about the future.... so maybe I shouldn't be making this list?
