What airlines do you love or hate?

AeroMexico is the only airline that also has an issue with the size of a luggage. All the airlines have weight limits. They took out a tape measure and told me my duffle bag was too long. They said they would give me a break, but that it would cost $175 the next time. Nothing was said about weight. It was only the length of it.

I like JetBlue, Southwest, and Frontier.

I hate American.

I'm okay with United, Delta, LATAM Perú, Interjet, and Aeromar.

I sort of hate AeroMexico, but I may give them another chance.

Based on what I've heard, I'd like to fly on Alaska, any Virgin airline, and Cathay Pacific.

Using my miles I have flown repeatedly to BKK on Cathay Pacific on business and first (did only once) class. Never had a bad experience.

I actually schedule a longer layover in Hong Kong because the Cathay lounges are so good. The wife and I were able to get a shower, changed, something to eat, etc. When we landed in BKK, it was, "drop your bags off at the hotel and you are free to hit the city".

I have done Japan Airlines business class a couple times, but this was a long time ago and their business class has changed dramatically with new seating. When I flew JAL, it was a bit strange in the business class cabin:

All the white people were in coach. Business class consisted of older Japanese business men and women... and me.. the lone white guy. The Japanese are so quiet it was like riding in a cabin of mannequins instead of human passengers. The JAL crew in business didn't speak English. The English speakers were assigned to coach.

Actually, love Delta. I'm a SkyMiles member so I've purchased tickets all the time to places and canceled days before my trip waving that SkyMiles card around.

Also 1/3 of my trips are upgraded because I arrive early (delta usually has women work the boarding counter) and run really standard game on the women and they usually try to "see what they can do." Plus I always bring 2-3 big ass bags and never pay for check ins.

Like the others who enjoyed EVA air, I've always enjoyed flying with them. The service was excellent the stewardess weren't the hottest but were most definitely nice to look at. If you get the chance on a cross pacific flight upgrade to the premium economy it's worth the money. The seats were bigger and the extra leg room was super nice. The food was quite a bit better too.

Alaska Airlines is pretty good too, got an upgrade from coach to first class for $50 on a Seattle to SLC flight, can't complain.

I fly frequently for work, I adore the Emirates product, J & F are most certainly amongst the best in the world while Etihad's 'The Residence' is literally a 5 star hotel in the sky, amazing!

Within Europe I'm a massive fan of Lufthansa although I usually end up with the dreadful airline racing to the bottom British Airways, Y is pure shit and J is what Y should be. Luckily it's only for a couple of hours maximum but damn, world's worst airline.

Our airlines have no beauty standards like some middle east / east asian / SEA airlines. We also reward older flight attendants with the bigger, more interesting flights since they "paid their dues" so to speak.

I hate Air France because Paris CDG is their hub. That's more hamster cage than airport. Horrible

I like Delta, JetBlue and United for domestic.

Lufthansa, Norwegian (surprisingly improved recently), and Scandinavian internationally.

Ryann Air sucks sweaty infected donkey balls

Mahan (from Iran) and Air Astana (Kazakhstan) provided excellent service.
Flying Royal Air Maroc depressed me.

Flew for the first time today on Turkish Airlines, route Istanbul-Izmir. This is my first flight with a tv on the seat and on a non budget airline.
I flew on a boeing 777-300er, it had an entertainment screen, great legroom, served free hot food with Ayran (turkish drink). They treated me like a king, they shit on British Airways in every way possible. Stewardesses were hot, not ugly old hags like on BA. They spoke with such a nice tone and welcomed you kindly. Flight was only 1 hour but I wish it was longer. Best part, flight cost me £25. I want to travel with Turkish Airlines all the time now, especially as Ryanair is the default airline I fly with.

Emirates.

Overall a top company in all respects, but the best thing is undoubtedly the well-stocked on-board bar in their A380, accessible when you fly business (or first of course).

Business class prices from Europe to SEA are often significantly cheaper than on asian or major european companies - the stopover in Dubai is not a problem, the lounges are super cosy.

AA is by far the worst I've been on. Worst attitudes I've seen from the waitresses.

United is not far behind. Generally speaking I don't have too much issue with them, but they do seem to have a lot of cancellations and delays. More so than any other carrier I've had the pleasure of flying on.

Best for me was Air New Zealand.

Of course flying around Asia is a different story where the plane being on time is the outiier. I've flown AirAsia, PAL and Cebu Pac. Never been on Tiger or Lion or Garuda, etc, but I've definitely been in airports where all those flights were delayed. Not saying PAL, Cebu Pac or AirAsia are any better in that regard though.

Air Canada is even worse.

I suspect they are unionized and have seniority. Plus it would be illegal for airlines in Canada to hire only hot chicks.

Can't wait for the first tranny flight attendant. For sure it will happen in Canada before anywhere else, assuming there isn't one already.

I recently enjoyed Norwegian a lot. On long-haul flights they use the brand-new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The cabin has better air (higher humidity), lower pressure, mood lighting and is overall more silent than a 747, which makes for a relaxing flight. Design is calm and understated, flight attendants had great manners, and I also got a free upgrade to premium economy after they messed up my extra legroom booking.

A charter airline in Thailand went trannie some years back.

One thing to take in consideration, even when flying with the best companies you may still end up in a old airplane.

I found that the best experiences I had has always been in top modern air crafts, regardless of companies.

Air Asia Philippines actually weighed my carry on bag and made me check it.

Filipino logic on full display.

"Sir it's too heavy to carry on, must be checked. It can not fit in the overhead bin."

But the same bag 3 kilos less can fit?

lol.

It's more fun in the Philippines.

In the U.S. another disturbing trend, if you sit in an aisle seat, are the overweight flight attendants with wide hips that slam into you as they stampede down the aisle. U.S. airlines would rather pander to political correctness than do their best to provide even a barely competent flight experience for their customers.

Asians in general, but the Chinese in particular, find such thinking completely absurd. They do not care about gender rights, inclusiveness, hurt feelings of the ugly or overweight, or anything else. Guilt is not something you will find in their vocabulary.

Meanwhile, Western civilization continues to castrate itself by evolving into one big clueless egalitarian clusterf*ck. The airlines are simply one symptom.

True story. In Europe works otherwise, even in low cost airlines there are superb chicks. TAP for instance may have many problems, but theirs hostesses are certainly not one. In some flights I've seen 7/8/9 busty chicks with only 20 or 22 years old
