Singapore hands down is a top 3 airline. Even their cattle class is nice.

Awesome airline, awesome service and their business class lounge is rather nice too.

I hate QANTAS, total asshats.

I flew Air Canada and Air Canada Rogue recently.

Air Canada Rouge was kind of like Virgin America. Hotter, younger stewerdesses, little more technology, etc. I was on an international flight and got a few meals out of it which weren't too bad.

Air Canada was really ghetto though. You had to buy your meals on a 5 hour flight from Montreal to LA. Unattractive stewardesses.

No love from me for Air Canada. It was the worst transatlantic flight I have taken, very uncomfortable in Economy.

British Airways is one that I really hate. So cramped in economy. I do like their food though, lots of indian food that's not too bad.

Air New Zealand, on the other hand, is awesome.

It's not only about the airline, but the passengers who fly with you. For example, I like Jet Blue, but every time I fly with them I have to pray they don't put a fat fuck or fat cunt on a sit next to me. Last time I almost ended up sitting next to a fucking land whale who would have fucking crushed me with her weight. Luckily, her husband who sat in the next row offered me to switch seats.

This is why I like most airlines that fly to/from Asia. Some Chinese passengers may be rude/inconsiderate, but at least they are thin.

Spirit-Not a fan, they nickel and dime you, very tight space on the plane, no service so to speak.
Norwegian Air Shuttle- Did not fly them transatlantic, but I liked them given that they are a low cost carrier.
British Airways- Have not flown transatlantic, but I guess they are ok. I take bigger issue with the airports they fly to, a lot of times you have to get on a bus to get onto the tarmac. At least when you fly from european county to european country they give you some food.
LOT Polish- Standard of service similar to british airways for inter-EU flights.
Air Serbia- Ok. Only took a very short flight with them. Again, similar service standard to British airways.
Southwest- They are great, but it always seems like their flights fill up fast because they have good service and prices. Open seating is very nice and simplifies things. Sometimes sucks that they have stopovers or not many options for direct flights.
Cayman Airways- They fly old planes. Have not flown them in a long time.
American- I fly them a lot here in Texas, but they are a legacy carrier, thus Southwest is better. Then again, they are bearable if you do transatlantic because they give you alcohol.
Delta- Similar to American, just don't know why you would fly them after they beat up that Asian doctor.
United- Nothing special.
Condor (Thomas Cook Airlines)- So they are a German "holiday" airline. So a lot of leisure travelers. I booked them because they were cheap as hell to fly transatlantic. Big mistake, they did not keep track of the bags they loaded onto the plane, so then we had to deplane after waiting hours on the tarmac. Thus they are a gamble but at the cost of delayed flights or poor customer service. Also have to pay for alcohol for transatlantic flights.
Lufthansa- They seem so much better for transatlantic than an American airline. Free alcohol in economy! Good service.
Royal Jordanian- Similar to the main European flag carriers, the standard of service is very good on the long flights. They are my favorite airline so far because the service was very good.
Air Canada- have not flown them transatlantic, but when you fly to Canada from the US, they are decent.

Lufthansa: used to like flying with these guys but they seemed to have dropped the ball lately. I had a terrible experience with them recently when I was on a flight from Dublin to Minsk. The flight was delayed for about 9 hours because one of their staff members was too hungover to turn in for work so that fucked everything up. I complained to their customer service by writing an email. That was last month. I tried ringing up their helpdesk but all I got was some Mustapha giving me the runaround. The cunt probably goes home in the evening to rape his goat. BTW Food leaves a lot to be desired. Never again

Ryanair: If you are looking for cheap thrills and spills, this is it. You get what you pay for. Yes fares are cheap but then everything about the airline screams cheap and tacky. Be prepared to deal with rude staff, mainly non Irish who are treated like shit and who genuinely hate their jobs. It's a non union outfit and it shows. Only good for short hop flights and that it is cheap. They usually land at airports that are a gazillion miles from the actual town/city that they purport to land at. A bit like market neo-liberal capitalism - good in theory but all fur coat and no knickers in practice. Did I mention the food that is way over the top or the cabin crew desperately trying to push numerous lottery cards in your faces in order to meet their daily quota. Fuck that. Next!

Aeroflot: The former national flag carrier of the much missed USSR; these guys cleaned up their act when Vlad took over from the other drunken fuck Yeltsin. I have flown with Aeroflot on a number of occasions and have been impressed. Lovely stewardesses and decent food. Once on a flight from Moscow to Yekaterinburg, the cabin crew cracked open the complimentary vodka at 7am. Cue a planeload of drunken and provincial Russians. Where else in the world would you want to be. A no poof airline. I like that.

Honourable mentions: Aer Lingus, Austrian, Belavia, Czech, EgyptAir, and Ethiopian.

Much missed -
Malev: Hungary's national carrier bit the dust about a decade ago but I still miss them. They were comfy, good value for money and were the dog's bollocks when it came to accessing the virgin Balkan and EE poosy paradises back in the early-mid 2000s. Friendly staff, competitive fares and the food. The goolash was amazing. Many a time I had the giddies getting on a flight after a memorable trip to Budapest, Belgrade or Sofia.

JAT (Yugoslav Airlines): Tito's old airline may be gone but it will long in my heart. It was the best little airline that I flew with. Staff were professional and meticulous down to a tee. Food and drink while not stellar hit the spot. It had a whiff of 1980s nostalgia as many of the staff looked like they had been there since then through all the shit that the globalists threw at the country. JAT were great for the London to Belgrade flights. Never late, always dependable and always on time. Gone but not forgotten. Yugoslavia, I hardly knew ye.

What are thoughts on WOW Airlines? Seems like they are the cheapest route to Europe from my destination

Flew them to Iceland last month.

Arrived in KEF airport at 4:50AM, and there was no luggaes. I asked if they are delayed and Keflavik airport dude told me WOW hasn't sent any luggage from my origin city for 3 days now and they must have forgotten.

After 3 days and me creating a shitstorm on twitter and continually emailing them, my bag arrived and they dropped it off where I was staying. Needless to say, I had to wear the exact same shirt and jacket for 3 days in cold of Iceland.

As for the questions

Best
Norwegian- Flown with them 4-5 times, amazing prices, rarely delayed
KLM- For some reason I got free upgrade to business class at the gate 2 of the 4 times I flew with them, so it stuck with me.
Air Astana- Granted I only flew them twice, but I was surprised how nice it was.

Meh
LOT, FinnAir, EasyJet, RyanAir, UkrainianAir

Almost all North American airlines I've flown with have also been very uninspiring.

Flying with Aeroflot for the first time in a few months...Short-flight, but hope the experience will be good.

I think it all comes down to personal experiences and preferences although there are some factors we can all agree on.

Within Europe I always fly with Wizzair. They are affordable and simply not that bad. They should do something about the color of their planes though. I usually try to avoid Ryanair because of the kind of people it attracts. It's usually not a pleasure to fly with them, especially when you look at how many products they are trying to sell during their flight. When flying to the U.S I used Air Canada and I had a good time with them. Comfortable seats and enough leg space, helpful stewardesses as well. In the future I would like to make use of different airlines to find out what suits me the most.

Turkish Airlines is my favorite. Good food, good entertainment, hot stewardesses, free layovers. Also randomly got a free upgrade on a long flight once. Unfortunately turned into an arm of the Turkish propaganda ministry for a while after the coup attempt, don't know if that is still ongoing.

For a discount airline my top choice is Norwegian. Baltic is also ok, but a bit more of a hassle and low-end. Ryanair attracts the dregs of humanity, but it's ok if you plan it all out, ignore everyone and everything, and remember to get extra leg space if you're tall. I think the most disappointing airline I've traveled with was TAP. Unbelievable almost that they have intercontinental flights without any kind of entertainment setup.

British Airways is not too bad - free drinks!, although there are too many male hosts and even the women are often old and frumpy. KLM, Air France, Brussels, SAS I would say are average. All the American airlines I've used have also been pretty mediocre.

And the flight attendants are so damn cute in those yellow uniforms

As for working at logistic company, I pretty much flew "almost" every country in Europe more than few times and I think best airlines is Turkish airlines. Norwegian is also good too, Lufthansa is average in Europe.

Southwest and Virgin America (soon to be Alaska) for domestic flights have always been wonderful. The Korean chicks on Asiana are on point. Girls are manicured within an inch of their lives and keep the food and drinks flowing on those trans-Pacific flights. Thumbs up for all three airlines I've just mentioned. Really haven't had a bad airline experience, but I tend to avoid the ones with the really bad reputations.

Favorites:

EVA: Good service, good food, generally good-looking stewardesses (almost no men too). They usually speak English very well. I believe they used to have a looks requirement for them but might have done away with that recently. Even coach is good.

Korean Air: Same as above.

Honorable mentions: Peach, Vanilla but English level is poor.

Love/Hate:

Emirates: Good service, they load you up with curry, but my flight was full of IRTs and the stewardesses all wear Muslim headdresses.

Aeromexico: Not bad, not great.

Lufthansa: Same.

KLM: Same, but the stewardesses these days look like linebackers.

Air France: Same.

Air Asia: Feels a bit dangerous, but some hot stewardesses.

Worst:

Southern China Airlines: If you value your life, please don't fly with these guys. My pilot had to be legit drunk when I flew into Guanghzhou. When he got us to Perth, he couldn't land the plane because of the wind and made about 5 attempts. Stewardesses were rude and nasty, and it was full of Chinese tourists.

Aeropostal: Venezuelan airline, 'nuff said.

United: Cheap, dirty, lazy, bad attitude clip joint operation that charges you $14 for a stale chicken sandwich. Give me a break.

What airlines do you love or hate?

For mine...

Worst - Wizzair - They fine you like 50 Euro if you don't use the online check-in despite hiding it in the tiniest of fonts that online check-in is essentially mandatory. The idea that I was paying extra so that the peanut at the desk wouldn't have to do her job was infuriating, that they had about 15 people standing around doing nothing behind the 3 people at the check-in counters who were actually doing something just made it even more insulting knowing that it was my fine for not doing their job for them that was allowing this to happen. Also for a country that had a ton of hot women they had two male flight attendants and none worth looking at on the female quota.

To be fair, the plane/flight was fine.

Virgin Atlantic - Tiny ass seats with the stupid hard block chairs that have like 15cm width so basically sitting in a vice the whole way from London to Hong Kong, had an exit row but was still super uncomfortable. Didn't help that because the seats were so small my shoulders were sticking out into the aisle and the flight attendants must have hit me a dozen times with drinks trolleys and just about every wanker going to the toilet did the same so no sleep.

Qantas - Just crappy service in every way, haven't flown with them in a decade now so it might have changed but they're always super expensive compared to other options and always second rate in service.

FlyDubai - For a non-discount priced flight they sure wanted to charge you for every little extra. It cost basically the same as airlines that offer just much better service.

BahamasAir - Never on time. Both the flight in and out of the Bahamas' was 45+ minutes late. The one out they made us sit on the plane for 45 minutes without the aircon in the Bahamian sun, it was torture.

Cubana Airlines - I guess this is more a what do you expect but they didn't even have the hot flight attendants I was hoping and instead had middle aged former soviet union female weightlifters. Not a comfortable flight and not cheap at all either.

The Good (Can't say I have a best)

Condor - Basically the opposite of FlyDubai, was a super cheap flight but it included everything, didn't hurt that they had easily the best looking flight attendants I've ever seen on a plane.

BangkokAir - Another budget airline that includes all the perks of more expensive airlines.

Qatar - Premium but quality.

Singapore - Ditto.

AirAsia - They're a budget airline but I've had a good flight with them every time and they've got one of the higher standards of flight attendants.

Spirit - Another dirt cheap airline that gets a tick from me, no frills but planes were comfortable and on time.

Delta - Flew the Pacific on them 4 times and was pleasant each time, the 4th time was the best where they let me check in 3 bags that were all overweight without any extra charges.

Avianca - Another that never batted an eyelid at the luggage weight or amount of bags I was checking on flights which is always nice when you're blatantly over like I was for them as well.

GOL - Not cheap by any means but their service has been very good on the flights I've taken. They could certainly find a lot of better looking women to do the attending though, it's almost like they intentionally hire ugly given the standard of Brazilian women and their attendants.

Nok is on my personal DO NOT FLY list after the CEO said this after Pilot and safety issues:

"The CEO further explained the airline’s woes on the Chinese zodiac.

Three company executives were born in the Year of the Tiger, the airline CEO explained, which makes for great misfortune in this Year of the Monkey. To turn things around, Patee said the executives plan to make merit together at a temple."

Fuck that...had flown them a few times as I am very close to DMK but stick with Thai Air Asia and recently tried Thai Lion ( all new fleet of 737s )

Probably just a matter of time until one of these low cost carriers operating out of Don Muang kills a bunch of people, but overall far safer than the Thai roads.

As for other airlines, I had nearly 700k on UA and was a 1K with them for many years but bailed after the merger when Smisek gutted mileage plus...and they ditched the NRT-BKK flight. I avoid them and pretty much all other U.S. carriers.

If you are shelling out for J, or buying miles to redeem for intl. F no reason to even consider the U.S. carriers. The Asian big ones are my first choices, JAL, ANA, KAL, Cathay, Thai, ( if good J or F award tix avail). Had good experience on Eva in J, poor flights on China Southern in J
