This is a brief trip report with some practical information which will hopefully be useful to those of you who plan to visit this wonderful city.
I stayed in HK for 3 days over the weekend, rented an apartment right in the middle of Lan Kwai Fong, the party district. This was my second time in HK. The first visit was even more brief, about a year ago.
Thanks to all the previous posters, particularly Skulled. Your advice was spot on.
The report is based on a short trip, so take this information with a grain of salt.
Day 1
First night. Arrived in the evening, got settled in, put my blazer on and hit LKF after a little bit of pre-drinking. Bounced from one bar to another in LKF and Wyndham Street. Talked to a number of girls and some guys as well. An insta-wingman from Singapore and I invited a couple of girls to a nearby cafe, but they didn’t come to my place for an afterparty like I suggested. Girls in bars and on the street were generally nice and friendly, but none of them agreed to come to my place either, so I called it a night around 3AM.
Day 2
I spent all day sightseeing which was fantastic. The highlight of the day was accidentally finding the closed off highway with the barricades and tents near Admiralty, walking around there right in the middle of everything and taking dozens of pictures. By now, all of this is probably dismantled.
In the evening, I called my new buddy from Singapore. While i was sightseeing, he already slept with one girl from Tinder or something but was ready for some more action. We hit up LKF, but then he got lost together with another girl. I continued drinking and hitting on girls with various degrees of success: sat at a table with some rich girls, bounced around and danced a little bit with others at random bars, got blown off a bunch of times, finally ended up at a bar right next to my place where I got lucky during my previous HK trip. I hit on 2 or 3 girls there, nobody seemed interested.. then one girl seemed more receptive and danced with me a little. I offered to buy her a drink, but she declined and went to the toilet. She was already pretty drunk, but so was I. I waited a few minutes and when she came back asked her to come to my place just around the corner for “an afterparty”. She agreed and we walked out of the bar, but then her friend, who was also very attractive, walked up to us and probably wanted to talk her out of it. I offered the friend to join the party, but she just bounced. Oh well, no threesome tonight, but hey, one girl is better than none.
We entered my apartment and started banging pretty much right away, no resistance at all, quite the opposite. Total time from meeting to bang...probably 10-15 minutes? I was drunk, so don’t remember exactly. Rough sex, RVF style. Very attractive girl, early 20s, fantastic body. We woke up in the morning and banged again. I felt happy that i was with the girl, but hungover as fuck, so when she said he was leaving, I was kind of relieved. As I was walking her out she told me she is from HK originally, but now works for a big airline in the Middle East. “What do you do there?”, I asked. “Cabin crew”.
Day 3: Wan Chai Sunday
Wan Chai on a Sunday is like low hanging fruit central full of Filipino and Indonesian maids, yet somehow I managed to not get laid there! To be fair, I was hungover, sleep deprived and still drained after the night with stewardess and also rejected quite a few maids, but anyway, let me describe my experience and you decide whether or not you want to give it a try.
I followed this guide:
http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/ReadersSu...er7450.htm
and either visited or saw from the street most of the places mentioned there. All of them are on Lockhart Road, pretty close to the Wan Chai metro station. I walked around and went to a couple of bars full of mostly British expats and Filipino/Indo maids. Most of the expats and maids looked kind of spent. As recommended in the guide, I hit up a club called New Makati. A night club full of people around 4pm, only in Hong Kong! I got a beer and checked out the club: a lot more girls than guys. Most girls looked like Filipino and Indonesian peasants ranging from ugly to ok looking with a couple of stunners thrown into the mix. Don’t get me wrong, though: in some small town in the US, guys would be buying them drinks and sucking their own cocks just to sleep with these girls, but in HK, that’s a different story. The few men at the club were mostly old expats with a few Indians here and there and a couple of young tall guys probably visiting just for shits and giggles.
I went to another club called Neptune 3. A bigger venue, but a similar crowd. I stood there looking grumpy like a Russian killer or something, pretty similar to my avatar given how hung over I was. Got a couple of more beers and let loose a little bit, talked to and danced with a few chicks. One Indonesian girl with a great body kissed me pretty much right away, but then asked me to buy her a drink. I agreed, but the drink was like 150HKD, 3X more expensive than the regular beer. Turns out they have a “lady drink” system there like at Go Go bars, so if you buy bitches drinks at these clubs, at least make sure you choose the drink and know what you pay. BTW, never enter any massage joints in Wan Chai, the ones with red curtains and shit. I didn’t - clearly rip off joints trying to fuck over drunk fools passing by.
Anyway, I told the Indo girl that I don’t pay for sex and she fucked off. Later on, danced with a few more girls but didn’t buy them any drinks. Two other Indo girls started dancing with me, I kissed them both, then took the more attractive one (stunning body!) to a quieter part of the club and offered to bounce to mine. She said it was too late, but she’s free next Sunday. Well, honey, there isn’t the next Sunday, Not for the two of us, anyway.
I spent the rest of the afternoon just watching the girls dance, trying to guess which ones were from the Philippines and which ones from Indonesia. Having been to both countries, I think my guesses were pretty accurate. It’s kind of weird for a white guy to be able to distinguish between the two. Around 8 PM, I got tired, came back to my place alone and caught up on sleep before leaving HK the following day. As for Wan Chai, maybe it went to shit since that Stickman’s guide report was written, or maybe i went to shit being hung over an all, but it was an interesting experience nevertheless.
Some general info and advice
HK taxi drivers are cunts. First of all, they are unavailable most of the time. Uber exists there, but it’s always surge pricing and/or no cars available. When I arrived, I spent like 1.5 hrs in a taxi queue and another 30 minutes to get to my place. The driver didn’t speak or read any English either in a city where many streets are named in English. After that, I had a few more problems with taxis: a driver refusing to take me to Wan Chai on a Sunday in front or a taxi queue ( I would be ashamed if i actually gave a fuck). Having to walk the narrow crowded streets with my suitcase to the metro station on the way to the airport because there were no fucking taxis available, and it wasn’t even the rush hour! Which leads me to my second point...
Make sure your logistics are tight: stay pretty close to where you want to party, ideally within walking distance. I am glad that I did. You can rely on the metro during the day. It’s crowded but very efficient. Take the train between the airport and HK Central station - very fast and convenient.
Buy a sim card at the 7/11 at the airport and connect to the internet right away following the instructions on the package. Connection speed is pretty fast.
Don’t just focus on the girls,
do some sightseeing. It’s one of the most fascinating cities in the world. I’ve seen quite a lot, but I should have seen more.
HK is not cheap, neither is going out at LKF with prices for drinks at around $100 HKD per cocktail at some places. The good thing is you can buy booze at 7/11 and drink on the street.
If you think you’ll come to HK as a white god and all the chicks will spread their legs for you, you’ll be in for a surprise. While it’s easier than in the West to find a young and attractive girl, the competition is pretty tough. Both local and expat guys look and dress well and have money to burn. I went out suited up and didn’t feel overdressed or out of place. Having said that, the people seem much friendlier than in a typical Western city on a night out. Girls, even if they are not into you, don’t act like cunts.
Overall, a great city definitely worth visiting.
