Toronto Tips?

Oh I forgot to add The Ackee Tree at the Spadina/Queen intersection! Their. Jerk. Chicken. Is. Ridiculous. Get some asap.

Thanks Rudebwoy, I just moved back to Ottawa to save some money so I can pay off my student loans. But I miss TO every day! I'm taking a year off right now to build up enough work for a show then I'm coming back to take over Toronto's art world. I usually went anywhere downtown that was playing good music. Im into everything from rock to electro to hip hop or classical. I just appreciate good music regardless of the genre. I usually stick to day game and leave the bars/clubs for having a good time with friends.

Where were you living before?

Khaleth - just got back from 4 years in London, UK. It sucked but I got to hit some good Euro spots.

Question - I need a place to take a girl on a date, this Crash place sounds pretty good. Any ideas?

Might be going soon for a few days or so for work, but might as well make the most of it.

Any hotel or nightlife recommendations?

I don't know much about nightlife but I do know some other stuff.

If you want to try talking to girls in the mall head to Eaton Centre. I see a lot of top quality girls there. There are always 2 or 3 East European hotties there. Yes, the ratio of hot girls to normal girls is not that high, but because there are so many girls there you'll find some hotties.

If you are visiting Toronto during warmer weather head on to college street. I used to live in Little Italy and I was regularly blown away by the gorgeous women walking there on friday and saturday nights. Its a good spot for street game.

I don't know anything about clubs though, you'd have to ask other people for that.

In terms of food, there are a number of great cheap places. There's a place called George's right by Bathurst station, which makes it a good spot to fill up before you head on to College street. The burgers and chicken there are really good. Little Italy has lots of great places to eat, and there are some decent sushi places too in that area. Check out Ghazale, its a great place to eat some shwarma in Little Italy.

Spadina street has great cheap places. Pho Train is a great place for some Vietnamese pho and has great big portions. Check out Lee Garden for moderately expensive but great Chinese food. If you eat big portions it will cost around 25 dollars per person.

There are plenty of higher end places in city, with many of them on Queen or King Street. There are also some great places on Harbord Street. I ate at Splendido once and it was phenomenal. I have also eaten at Nota Bene which was excellent too.

Sorry to hear London sucks. Everyone I talk to either loves it or hates it.

Crush is pure class and its pretty much a guaranteed lay afterwards. You can check out the menu and make reservations on the website. http://www.crushwinebar.com

Pho 88 at 270 Spadina is a nice restaurant if you want some SE Asian food. Its easily the nicest looking restaurant in the chinatown district. I was dating a family friend of the owners for 3 years. It didn't end well so I haven't been there lately, but I still recommend it to anyone looking for a nice meal on the cheap.

Lemme know how it goes!

She hinted at The Keg Mansion.

It would have to be semi upscale, so pho and chinese is out.

Just got back from Scarborough centre. Its a really ghetto mall with very few attractive women. Don't ever go there to sarge.

Take her to Ultra or Spice Route. My girls love these places.

Other recommendations:

Brassaii

Ki

Keg on Bay street is nicer to me.

Gosh I am out of touch, Ki is nice but I hear the prices are very heavy there.
Thanks bro for the tips.
Are you in the Tdot as well?

damn u guys r so lucky ur in T.O.

I went there last summer for a week, had a great time.

I haven't been to a city with that much talent all over the place and in such great variety.

And I grew up in L.A. and live in Chicago. They don't compare.

The girls were pretty difficult, but everywhere u turn there's more.

DonovanVC - yeah it is a good city, although some locals may disagree. Summer time is nice hear and yes the girls are difficult.

Guess that is why we are here. lol

Heard great things about Chicago, nothing really from a girl perspective - more great shopping/restaurants etc.

I think TO is good for diversity. Girls are not fixated with any particular ethnicity compared to some other places (ie - level playing field). From my experience TO girls generally have inflated self value though. Even 5s, 6s seem to think they are somethin special. I do think if you are from elsewhere, it piques there interest and the bitch shields melt away. They become typical Canadian girls with great attitudes.

The top end talent in TO doesn't compare IMO. I went to undergrad in Vancouver. I found a lot of world class quality in Yaletown.

Hey sorry I forgot to check back on this thread. I haven't been to The Keg Mansion but I've heard good things. I agree with Luckystar, Ultra is always a good time.

For any guy heading to Toronto, King W presents ample opportunities. I recommend hotel rooftop bars. Very comfortable, very aesthetically appealing. Swanky places.

I ve taken three girls there in the past few weeks, and each to time the girls were in a state of foreplay. Very comfortable inside, very aesthetically appealing, very sexy place. Swanky place to get a girl in the right state.

The lounge at the ground level is also very stylish and good for building rapport.

And the food at 24hr diner (the Counter) is really good considering its grease.
