Overrated: Australia and NZ

DId working holiday few years ago in NZ and visited australia, never understood the hype with the women, they have the same culture of the US women (which is arrogant, entitled, bitchy and racist) and with the looks of british Isles and Irish women, a combination that I want to escape, not to embrace.

Underrated: Western europe (bar the UK, Ireland) : Its by no means comparable to the US or anglospheric world neither in quality, ratios or availability. People here tend to put western europe and the US in the same bag and idealize eastern europe as the ideal, there are quite a few western european countries as good or even better than eastern european ones and the other way around of course.

Some countries in western europe are better than some in eastern europe, and it will be all down to your tastes wether you prefer germanic or slavic features, dark , light or mixed features.

As I explained long ago the russian/ukranian beauty is artificual, its all enhanced by make up, clothes, more femenine attitude, its not a racial/genetical thing which you could define as raw beauty, that why even kamaki (hardcore slavophile) admits when russian and ukranian women mix along in the touristic beaches... norwegian women have the edge, since the clothe, make up and attitude effect are gone.
I myself prefer germanic beauty (taller, blonder,slender, sharper features etc),Slavic women have their own exotic beauty, which sometimes I like but Im not too fond on.

I wouldn't say German/Scandinavian women are particularly tall or slender. Czechs and Serbs beat them in both categories.

Germans (specially from northern parts) and Danes/Swedes are noticeable taller than slavs, just ask to out slavic expert kamaki, The dutch are taller than all other germanics, let alone slavs. Put your average russian and german men next to eachother , german men are far taller in average than russian, and czech are taller than other slavs because they are the most mixed with germanics.

About slenderness, it varies on every group.. czech are more slender than poles (no surprise germanic admixture is high on czech), and specially compared to russians and ukranians (shorter height, shorter legs and more heart shaped faces).
In germanics the western germanics (dutch,western/north-western germans) are the most slender of all (usually more consistently tall too), the more south-east you go in germany the more blocky the people gets (although not really blocky just in contrast with the germans closer to the north sea). Northern germanics , specially northern swedes,Norwegians tend to be intermediate, not very slender but neither blocky, unless you are speaking about a large amount of swedish who actually have more finnic/uralic traits they tend to be wider not only in frame but also facial structure, similar to many finnish people.

Also Czechs and Serbocroats are no.3 and 4. in height in the world. after Dutch and Swedes who are small proportion of the whole Germanic population. You can claim that Czechs mixed with Germans thus the height but then again why are Serbocroats so tall without any Germanic mix?(some claim due to admixture of White Slavs with the old Macedonians-makos means height in Greece Macedonins= tall people or maybe it referred to the size of their penises).

Dinaric alps area has tall people, again its based on genetics mostly, and no they dont look typically slavic either, they are obviously too dark and hard featured to be just slavic.

Would you say people in czech is taller than people in Hamburg or Hannover?

And the slender german phenotypes all are mostly found around NRW and Lower Saxony/East frisia Area. Dont tell me you never seen slender german girls because I could post many.. In the other hand Ukranian and russians arent really slender looking, lot of people have shorter legs, stockier bodies and heart shaped faces.

Denmark overrated? Where? I have a friend living in jutland (continental denmark) he send me pictures and we skype often, and the level of the women there is just ridiculous..., I have no idea about Copenhagen though.

Miami is overrated. I would never go there to meet women, though the beaches are some of the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen.

New York is overrated here on RVF. It's not bad and can even be very good for those who can find their niche, but I would say it's definitely over-hyped.

Russia is overrated on RVF as well as Russian/EE girls in general. Yes, higher quality and easier then Western girls, but not as easy as you would think. I would say, it's about 3-5X easier to pull in Asia than in Russia/FSU, just as a very rough estimate.

Russia is overrated from a visa/cost perspective alone if you have an E.U passport. Other EE countries have similar quality and less hassles.

Overrated: Seoul - not way overrated, but just not great in general. Spent almost 2 weeks there, girls were shy or indifferent.

Underrated: Kaohsiung & Taipei - lots of hot girls, lots of IOIs, Taiwan is probably the easiest lays that I've had.

Toronto is definitely underrated in here. Surely don't even bother going there in winter. It sucks and many girls stay at home or don't even come to Toronto (not talking about the locals).
However you can have lots of fun with girls there in summer and autumn.
Generally stay away from the locals, go for the thousands of hot language students/international students/tourists and have good logistics. Go to international oriented venues near University of Toronto instead of the lame King Street which is loaded with girls of shitty attitude.

Overrated: Calgary-The talent is there but for such a large city it just seems to be missing that consistently festive vibe that you'll find in a truly cosmopolitan city like New York or Montréal. Parts of the city can also seem really inactive at certain times of the day or night. Definitely worth a visit, though, especially if you have the dance game to jump right into the country music scene.

Underrated: New Orleans-A real festive city with a fairly relaxed vibe to it. The humidity sucks but it's a popular destination for many different kinds of people and the food is just very, very good.


Hopefully this changes sooner rather than later when I can actually travel out of North America on a whim.

Overrated: Budapest, did not like the vibe of that city, found it dark and dirty and did not like the scams, I was not impressed by the nightlife.

Underrated: Amsterdam 7/7 365 days a years nightlife.

You need to know where the local bars are and speak Dutch to enter, loads of students who go out to pubs and live close to the bars, nothing better than to hitch a ride on a bike with the girls bringing you to her place, plus the city has so much else to offer a little bit of soft 4 20, great museums, nice casino and cheap airfare to wherever.

It's absurd to name an entire continent of course, but on this site I'd say Africa is seriously underrated. I hardly ever see African countries come up when guys are talking about best places to go.

I spent a few months bouncing around the entire continent, and it was maybe the best travel experience of my life. But just consider East Africa, which is a very doable trip:

- Cost: incredibly cheap, including airfare (I flew from Nairobi to NYC for $330). And once you're on the ground you'll feel like a king.

- Natural beauty: the Serengeti, Victoria Falls, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro, the list goes on. Every night on safari I'd walk to the edge of camp with a folding chair and a bottle of whisky, and just look up at constellations I'd forgotten existed.

- Women: if you are into black girls at all, it's a paradise. It was even easier for me to pull in Africa than in China, and the quality is great too (Ethiopia rivals any country I've been to for beauty of women).


Edit: As for overrated, I'd say Argentina. Although it's still a perfectly pleasant place to be.

Regarding Argentina, the only thing that's overrated IMO are the girls. The country itself is nothing short of stunning and a terrific place to vacation with a hot Brasilian or Colombian or Paraguayan girl while enjoying some of the best meat and some of the finest wines in the world.

I always wanted to go to Africa.

This year I was deciding where to go and it was between Colombia and East Africa. I was thinking of a trip to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia (realized the same road connects three countries). Decided to go to Colombia this year instead but its definitely on my radar for a couple of years to come.

I think its underrated because a lot of the guys here don't like Black girls too much and that's cool more for us .

Although I will say that after doing my research, apparently lots of older Italians like going to Mombassa, Kenya for the sex tourism as well as Ethiopia. Lots of older Europeans as a whole like going over there. Not sure how the seen is with more younger guys going there.

I'll try and drop a datasheet some time. The problem is with Africa I was just spending a week or so in each spot, so the depth of info won't be that great. And China was 5+ years ago, so a lot of that info is probably out of date.

Fair points, I should've been more specific. I find the women and nightlife to be very overrated, which is what most guys talk about on here. I don't doubt the country is beautiful, although since I've been working crazy hours I haven't had the chance to see much outside of BA. And I'm not much of a wine drinker, so that charm is lost on me.

It also has the misfortune of sharing a continent with Colombia and Brazil, two of my favorite countries in the world.
