What's the matter with Toronto? Seriously...

Well, it's not a vacation trip per say but more of a moving there as I want to be based out of E town while working there in oil biz for a while. Good to hear that lizards are more down to earth there.

I agree with everyone, that girls in Toronto are beautiful and enticing, as well as cold and shallow.

Picking up women in Toronto can be difficult for this reason mainly. I wrote about what might contribute to this mentality in a previous post.

"Women are just as good at Men at everything!"

I am not saying that I don't believe in women's rights. I am not saying they should not be allowed to vote, work, drive, and should be forced to wear burkas to cover up when they should go out. I do not believe a women's place is in the kitchen, or they are just baby factories.

I like high heels, short skirts, and make up on cute feminine girls. I like the company of pleasant women, who know how to make a man feel good about themselves. I like that women are free to express themselves, and feel confident.

But I do not believe in the above statement.

Look how it transforms itself in today's culture. Instead of being taught that today's women has value and should be respected. The idea is hammered into young girls and ritalin filled young boys, that women are EQUALS NO MATTER WHAT. and that women must FIGHT for that equality at all times.

So when women go out at night, and notice that men will go all out for their attention and affection, their attitudes change. They start to think, "Women are Better then Men"

In Toronto (or all of Southern Ontario) this idea is simply compounded by;

- My boss is a woman

- I make more money then all the guys I work with.

- I make more sales then all the guys I work with.

- Most of my (Masters, Law School, PHD) class is women.

- Look at all these women driving Bimmers, Benzes, or even Bentleys.

- All men my age make shit money, or have no future.

I realize these ideologies are apperent in every large North American city, but it seems to be worse in T dot. I also feel there is a significant exodus of alpha males to the West, particularly Calgary. In Alberta, the above 6 points are either not true, or not as common.

Toronto women........one of the two ONLY reasons that i am moving to Europe by the end of this summer, leaving the place i call home where i grew up my whole life.

Currently working on selling my shit, paper work, buying new clothes, new luggage, and looking up a decent priced ONE-WAY ticket. (Haven't been able to participate a lot on the forum [Image: confused.gif])

If you're a Toronto guy, fed up with the bullshit you get from a 5, get outta this shit hole and move somewhere else and take bullshit from a 9 or 10. It's worth it coming from a 9 or 10, not from a chubby Toronto 5.

Just a warning for any U.S/non-U.S players DUMB enough to CONSIDER visiting Toronto for leisure, one advice, RECONSIDER TWICE!......heck stay where you are, the grass is greener there!

Very true.

If you want to get a better idea of what this looks like, take a look at the Black American community, which has a lot of similarities to what you're talking about. The whole "girl power" ideal has been taken to an extreme there, and no other group of women on this continent has internalized the notion of female superiority more so than black american women. Phrases like "Men are all dogs", "men ain't shit", and the like are quite standard among them, enough so to have become an expectation within the mainstream popular culture. Long story short, black american women hate their men, and at a minimum they maintain absolutely no respect for them.

The education and income gaps between black American men and women are also the largest you will find in North America (and this is without account for the highly disproportionate number of gays earning some of those male degrees). The sheer number of black men in jail or otherwise incapacitated just firms up their view of black men as "less than". They honestly believe they "run the world", and it seems like women up in Ontario are getting closer and closer to this same paradigm.

Anyway, back to Toronto women. The catch for them is that these women can't escape nature. Eventually, they're going to want a man. They're going to want companionship. They're also going to want to reproduce-the biological clock is a very real, very powerful thing. At some point, they'll start looking for a man to help fulfill all of these desires. Instinct demands that this effort be made, and humans are no match for our own biology.

At this point (they'll begin getting here during their late 20's, usually all are about there by 30-32), they'll realize that all of the trends they gloated about (making more money than men, earning more degrees, etc) actually hurt them pretty badly-now they can't find any men who meet their rather high, hypergamous standards. The arrogant, condescending ridicule of men they engaged in as youths soon turns to bitching ("Where have all the good men gone?!").

It is too late to solve the problem by then, of course, so you have the mass of educated, fairly attractive 28-30+ women who've hit this stage getting very anxious. The few good men (read: well educated, high earning, yet still decent looking, etc) who do still exist find themselves in a very powerful position as these women become quite competitive in their attempts to lock them down. They're in slow supply and high demand.

Many women are, of course, left out of the loop. They're either forced to settle for a less educated, less affluent, less stereotypically "eligible" man (with which they'll often be miserable since they're so convinced they deserve better) or they end up alone, unable to settle and unable to convince one of the few "eligible" men remaining to lock her up or even bother going steady with her in the long term.

There is no happy ending for these women. They think quite highly of themselves now, and objectively one could be forgiven for thinking that they are winning and will remain so.
The thing is that their victories are empty, and unsustainable in the long term. There may be significantly more men than women out there, but most of those men are invisible to women. Meanwhile, their short-sighted, condescending views in the present will only make limit their access to the few visible "eligible" men in the future, ensuring that in most cases they're never quite satisfied.

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.

Athlone you hit the spot right on. My older friend who is hitting his mid 30s does extremely well with the women here.

He also tells me that the behavior of most very attractive TO women in their mid to late 20s(the top tier) is pretty disgusting(gold digging, attention whoring, etc.), especially the ones who live downtown.
Reply

Athlone should seriously get a +1 for this. Much respect to you for that reply, and there's nothing disagreeable about it at all.

Torontokid you're also right on point, women in their 20s in Toronto are on a new higher level of stuck-up, especially these days with the warm weather and all.

In the past 4 years of my university education on a HUGE campus (almost a small town) that is frankly crawling with attractive girls in their early 20s (pinnacle or arrogance/stuck up attitudes), i have never once seen a random guy approach and open a random girl, and trust me, i do hang out outside a lot, mainly in the summer when the weather is nice to study, and grab a smoke whenever i want to, always keeping an eye on my surroundings, and any player can identify a pick up in progress if you pay close attention.

I don't blame some Toronto guys actually for not gaming, whether they have approach anxiety or they just know that Toronto women are not worth it. Hopefully the latter if they are smart.

Yea I do find TO broads difficult to approach I an not a day game guy but TO girls are always in a "rush" some place. But when you get to know them you realize they are not in a rush to any where of importance lol. In DC I found that minus the work day hours most DC girls looked bored and were easier to approach of the fly. I was able to open women in Goergetown a lot more easy then a girl in Yorkville or Queen Street. I used my same material of acting like a lost production assistant on a work term and DC girls were just as dubious to it as TO girls only difference was the DC girl was willing to stand around and chat for 5-10 min vs her wailing her arms in the air like a crazed chicken like girls in TO. I couldn't close nothing as my day game is rough but I was able to pick up the differences in vibes tho.

I can believe that. The surest sign that women are not approachable in general in a city is that they are not approached. Don't tell me (straight) men don't want to get laid. Women here overwhelmingly have this "do not approach" default vibe (though it is worse in some places than others).

Like I said before, this is overwhemingly a social circle "game" kind of city.

I don't even think it is a testament of a guy's game skills, courage and confidence. 70% of the work is already done, girl(s) in his social circle are already comfortable with him, and the only thing he needs is to pick one and sexualize his relationship with her in a confident manner.

You are not the only one. I hate it too. The only counter to Toronto lizards and their BS is to CONTINOUSLY chop lots of lizards. Go to venues that are you in your favour. Get some cool FB's and wane some of your frustration off on them so that when you go out chopping, you are doing it from an aloof indifferent standpoint as opposed to a desperate point.

Apart from that, the only other counter is to leave the city. If not, you might have to just put up...[Image: sad.gif]

What's good with Eatons Centre now? I am out of TO right now but evreybody tripping off that gangbanger letting shots off in the Food Court? Any TO kats in the mall or know people whom were there?

Some moron started shooting in Eaton Center's food court. They think that it is gang related and victim killed was targeted.

Toronto police say they arrested him sunday night (shooter turned himself in). We're waiting for police conference @ 2pm this afternoon.

Overall, i feel sorry for the victim and his family, not to mention the 6 or 7 people injured including a 13 year old kid visiting Toronto.

This incident IMO hit Toronto's nerve real hard as the Eaton Center is not only a tourist destination, being one of the biggest malls in North America, but also many people work there, pass through the mall to go to work, and it's main visitors range in age from 11-25 primarily, so i assume it's reputation has been compromised a little.

On a different note, Eaton Center was/still is the main hunting ground for these so called PUAs, i wonder how this incident will affect their pursuits there, as i'm sure security will tighten there.

If its a bros night and a dope experience and having a good time is in order then hit Maison-Mercer. Get suited up and then go run around with some ballers for the night. I have never been but my homie has and say's its a type of place you want to hit up now and then just to feel like a baller and shit. Grab a boothe and chill and game up some stuck up broads. I think Masion is a little younger than the cowrd at Muzik, not by much tho.

I know a guy in this pic from back in the day, he hangs out with some mint girls but not sure if he is "funny" b/c I never see him being close to them. I will say that crowd likes to live the high life, think Porsche cars and renting private jets to go on holiday.

Why is it so hard to find a apartment in Toronto. Aside from the roach spots locked down by shady landlords I am dealing more and more with women whom discriminate strait up at Men. Almost like the post listing only to come back and run you in circles and cut shit off last minute.

A temporary sublet for a month or two max is all I need. Preferably downtown or somewhat close to it.

Hell if a couch is open i'd pay for it ...shit is getting ridiculous over here.
