Thanks a million for that very detailed insight into the K girls psyche. Seems like the K girls have a few very common traits with the J girls (and more specifically the Korean society with the J society) in that they also come from a very male oriented and dominated society, where they are treated like lower than shit and have absolutely no rights/power. Why would you bring pillow, comforter and bed sheets? You can easily buy those and for far cheaper once in Korea. Dude, travel light is the best policy for both peace of mind and ease of travel. Take it from someone who used to travel with everything, including the sink and bath tub (almost LOL). Ever since traveling light, things have been so much better...

Everyone says the bedding is terrible in Korea and over priced. They havent seemed to grasp the concept of having nice feeling bedding and blankets.

Hey Dash Global, good luck over there!

Watch out at the booking bars. Those are awkward. Groups of girls go there more to drink for free. The waiters act like they don't know the girls personally, but that's a lie. In my experience, they hook their girlfriends and fuck buddies up before anyone else.

The girl really only stays around you long enough to drink it and maybe a hug and kiss. You gotta capitalize in that brief period.

3) SING!!!! Korean girls love karaoke. It's important you say the word correctly. KATA-OH-KAY not CARRY-OKIE!!! This is crucial. A song usually cost a dollar or less. The mama's pressure the girls to be at tables drinking at $20-40 a pop, but they ease off when a girl is singing. Ask one for a nekohana, and a song. They'll always do it. Pick the dirtiest song they got. Sounds cheesey but I try that "ride my pony song" or something like that and get the duet going. They girl will start singing and dancing all over you. The trick is to either do this early in the night and make an impression. Most bargirls have a phone they keep for giving their regular customers the number to, so they keep coming back. Get that number and go to other bars (of course repeating the signing-neko combo) and send the initial girl texts, and use the multi-text feature as you get more numbers. After the girl has been bought drinks all night, go back towards closing, and sing another song, and buy another neko. They're usually yours if you sell it well.

4) Identify the mama's and tip them. Most Asian water-trade type places are run by women. If you have a nod from the mama, it's instant approval. The mama will introduce the girls to you, and if you're good to her, she'll say things like "He has a good heart" or "He's a good friend of mine." The girls have no idea if this is true. The mama and the girls have some awkward communication code that would take me hours to explain. The point is the girls treat the mama's like their the queen, their grandma and pimp all rolled into one. A very easy way to identify the mama of a Korean bar in Hawaii is by her Silver Mercedes Benz CLK 350. The house mama has an S550, also silver.

5) Once you fuck one, FUCK HER VERY HARD. No matter what rumor goes around the bar about you, that one will always stick in the girls mind. Mama's take their girls from bar to bar, and they all talk. I got tons of shit flying about me, but at the core of it is all the girls that left my house the next morning still out of breath. I always get this going in other cities too.

6) The hostess bar area in Busan was called Texas Station, or something likr that. Maybe Dallas Street. It was dirty but a blast. Look for places that are open after the hostess ones close right in that area. Look for the silver luxury cars. Sometimes the mama's take the girls out after good nights.

Hostess-type bars change their names all the time, for reasons not worth explaining. I've been to a few hostess bars and booking places in LA. Theres a few Japanese snack bars there that are really good. I doubt their names are the same, and I don't remember them any way. There was a huge booking club I've been to that was called Prive that girls also hostessed at. I know some girls from Hawaii that are 8.5-9's that used to fly to LA to work at that place.

Maybe if I spoke Korean, and Korean girls loved surfing, Hawaii, and Polynesian men, Koreans would be my favorite. You should have hung in there. Just think about how hard it is to be an Asian girl in America. They're gonna be nervous about everything. They also don't like a lot of things in The US for example giant food portions of bad food in the first place or big highways with huge trucks. Then consider the fact that most people in America are a head taller and 30-300 pounds heavier than them.

Koreans by nature are nervous in general, but send them someplace where everything scares them, you gotta do a little more work to establish a comfort level.

Just finished my first full day here.

The amount of stares I get skyrocket when I`m speaking English, either with a friend or on the phone. Try talking to yourself in English on the phone and see if that helps.

1st Night Out Recap

Went out with most of my co-workers to PNU area for dinner. We even managed to get 2 of our Korean co-teachers to join us. After dinner we went to Seomyong area which is like the main downtown / center of Busan to a pretty decent western style bar. I saw LOTS of girls I would smash walking around in both locations, soo for first impressions I was pleased. I opened 2 sets of girls (both 2set'rs) during the night. First set seemed alil apprehensive but the grl I initially opened was alright with me talking to them, but then I switched to her friend and this bitch just shakes her head and ignores me! Im like WTF, rude bitch! So I eject and head to where my coworkers are playing darts. There is a 2 set'er directly behind us and I decide to open them as well. These two girls where ALOT more friendlier and nice. I scooped up there emails as they didnt have facebook and I dont have a phone yet! After a few hours we decide to go back to PNU area to another bar. I meet some other foreign teachers there. The good thing is I meet a korean american teacher that had just got here from Colorado and he seemed like he would be a decent wingman. Alot of the guys here are not really like me in that they are focused on going out and meeting women, they mainly focus on getting drunk ect and dont really have much style and game. So Im pretty pleased with that as non of my coworkers are adequate wings.

Overall good first night out! Didnt get back home till 7am! I feel pretty confident im gonna get my korean flag VERY soon after what I saw last night.

I've heard this too. I've seen racists everywhere. With the Navy in Asia, (and everywhere as a matter of fact) I really only hung up with black or Latin guys. She's also not Korean. Her race is partially Korean, but that's irrelevant. That's Texas Street, right across from Busan Station. The girls there are almost all Russian or Filipino. Any Korean girls working there are Koreans from Russia. It's where I always end up after the regular bars close. I got a Pinay chick at one of the bars to blow me in a booth the other week.

The night you went out did you go to dance clubs or bars? I met a lot of Koreans who studied ESL in San Diego at the language school I got my TESOL from. I noticed that the Korean girls I met at the school were very shy and I couldn't imagine any of them making the first move. Also it could be difficult for them to game because they don't feel comfortable speaking English especially with a Native speaker. Which is natural for most people and a lot of people are insecure about their language ability if they are learning a language.

I have no idea if they behave differently in Korea and I don't know how the average Korean girl views foreigners. Also is it difficult to find girls who speak passable English? How are your classes and the school you are working for? I'm sure you will start to get used to things and make some headway.
