The reason I went to New York is about to be made clear. I signed a contract that says I won't reveal the appearance until the day it airs, so I can't tell you the show name yet, but it is broadcast nationally.

Do any of you have the capability to record a television show and convert to computer video? It can be hard to find full episodes of this show online so I want to make sure we have a full copy to watch.

This has been an amazing week for RVF.

We've really had everything. The "Interviewed By A Feminist" thread made a strong comeback, we've had some fun banning wannabe trolls, we've had race-thread meltdowns, the Huffington Post article with all it's comment section awesomeness, Hookers for Hilary, the Wall Street Playboys Money vs Game debate, a thread about spanking girls, and what appears to be an extra dose of awesome Roosh contributions on a variety of threads.

But this really takes it to a new level.

If anyone has Tivo, this link has instructions on how to record a program, then transfer the file to your PC or Mac.

Since the page takes forever to load, I pasted them below:

1. Before you begin, make sure that you have installed TiVo Desktop Software for the PC on your PC, and that your TiVo box is connected to your home network.

If you have not yet installed TiVo Desktop, download it now.
If you have not yet connected your TiVo box to your home network, see how to connect your TiVo box to your home network.

2. On your PC, launch TiVo Desktop.

3. Click "Pick Recordings to Transfer." A window showing your TiVo box's

"Now Playing" or "My Shows" list appears. If you have more than one TiVo box in your home network, their names appear in a pull-down list. Select the box that has the show you want to transfer.

Note: Recordings that cannot be transferred due to copy protection restrictions are marked with a red circle slash.

4. Highlight any title in the list to see more information about the recording.

5. Check the box next to the title of the recording (or recordings) you want to transfer.

6. Click "Start Transfer." While transferring shows, TiVo Desktop displays the status and the time remaining. Click "Transfer Status" to view details of transfers in progress. Transfer times vary, but may take as long as the show's duration (i.e., up to one hour for a one hour show) to complete the transfer.

Note: If the show is part of a series, the "Auto-Transfer this Series" button is available. Click this button, and TiVo Desktop will transfer each episode automatically as soon as it's available on your TiVo box's "Now Playing" or "My Shows" list.

7. Shows you transfer to your computer are listed in TiVo Desktop's "Now Playing List." To reach the "Now Playing List," click "TiVo Recordings."

8. To watch a show, select any title from the list (even one that's still transferring) and click "Play." Your computer's default media player (in most cases, Windows Media Player) starts automatically. Refer to your media player's instructions for more about playing recordings.
