I wanted to start a thread for when I drop new videos, since there's a delay before I blog/tweet about them. Here's one I dropped today:

Thanks for this message.

While I think that an overly pessimistic and defeatist attitude can sometimes come out of some participants in the manosphere, the untempered optimism and motivational tone that's also quite common can be equally as deceptive and problematic--if not more so, since it's considered beneficial.

It's important to have a balanced, accurate read of a situation--good, bad, or ugly.

Roosh is the man, you don't hear many guys with masculine, traditional values like him. If I ever run into you, I'm buying you a beer.

Most people are delusional, and information outlets cater to people's egos instead of the ugly truth for money. Basically spewing leftist, pan sexual, feminist truths and political correctness for money, or better said "whoring themselves for money".

Look at cracked.com, it used to be a magazine for guys with pretty cool stuff like "5 most badass presidents" and now spewing shit like "5 things cool things you didn't know about pan sexuals" for money.

People who buy Roosh's stuff (Right now reading Day Bang [Image: banana.gif]) can always count on him keeping it real , even if you don't agree completely with him.

Roosh keeps it real, but as he admitted, he has a darker slant. Other people also keep it real, but have a more positive slant. Neither is right or wrong per se, but each of us develops a preference that can change with time. I think people who are just starting out and figuring things out gravitate more to the darker side. For myself, I prefer a more optimistic/positive view and tend to gravitate to that more these days. It's not even that black and white, positive/negative. Anyway, good stuff Roosh.

Subscribed and liked. Epic rant. I love the part about clown suits and when can you take off your clown suit as well as that walk off home run blast at the end.

Also what is in that Mason jar?

It's all relative really.

The mainstream shit you read on buzzfeed, cracked etc. is loaded with feel good bullshit. Sure, it makes people feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but unfortunately that's not always reality.

That's the reason a lot of people, men and women alike, have trouble digesting what they read when they come across the forum/manosphere/redpill sites. It's actual reality, which a lot of people are constantly trying to distract themselves from. It irritates them.

I don't believe Roosh is "dark" by any means. He's real. Reality can be both awesome and happy, or dark and depressing.

It just boils down to whether or not you are willing to swallow the big, nasty cumshot that is reality.

I can relate wholeheartedly. Actions always speak louder than words; I will tell people I'm a pretty positive person and have an optimistic outlook on life, and in my own mind I do, but I know that is not entirely true. In my thoughts and actions I am incredibly cynical, misanthropic, and sometimes downright nihilistic. It comes with the territory of being "real" and accepting and promoting the truth of the world around you. It's these thoughts of bleakness, harsh realities, and cold hard truths that keep you sharp, keep you honest, and keep you mentally strong and resilient.

Accepting harsh realities is the burden of men. Women get to live in la la land, men must adapt or suffer.

When I referred to more positive outlets that keep it real, I was obviously not referring to ANY mainstream site, including any of that stuff listed above. That stuff is pure trash.

Great video Roosh, I enjoyed it and you looked good on camera.

With regards to the positive/ negative viewpoint, I think it is personal for everyone. Depression and mental illness runs in my family, so I have to try to think positively and not allow myself to dwell on negatives. For example, instead of thinking about the crisis of masculinity in the West, (which is very real), you can think about the way that there are so many subcultures/ opportunities for different interests that you can do whatever the fuck you want. Think men are pussified and weak? You can do steroids or train mma as much as possible and become the caricature of manliness. Both viewpoints are equally valid.

Haha...and why do you need a highly skilled AV guy to help with the videos? That works fine for me!

Is it possible for you publish the videos without having a specific number of minutes? If you put 5 minutes in every video, I think you will be making some contents quiet short, not having a specific time will let you explore more of a subject.

By the way, your previous crib looked better than this one, right?

I believe this is what the red-pill is all about.

Positive and Negative are subjective things.

I think it's a waste of time for Roosh to explain himself to people in this particular subject. If you don't like what i'm preaching. Then there's the door.

When I was a young man, my mentor said to me: "I won't tell you what you want to hear, I'll tell you what you need to hear."

He has my utmost respect for never bullshitting me in the name of feel-good encouragement.

Women specialise in doing the former with each other - this is why Female Typists usually sound utterly-delusional about themselves.

When you know you've truly earned the praise you're receiving, it will barely-register as encouragement or positive-reinforcement, because you're not bullshitting yourself.

Great video.

On a side note, I wonder if anyone would complain that Roosh's apartment is "too humble" or "at a subsistence level"? [Image: lol.gif]

I think short videos are superior to long ones, at least for readers. People who can read fast prefer to avoid videos to save time. Plus, in the internet age, most people have the attention span of a shoefly.

Good video Roosh, it's funny i'm a young guy with the exact same attitude and people are always making comments as to why I am the way I am. They never seem worry about themselves however.
