Why is skinny-shaming OK, if fat-shaming is not?

I think as long as a girl can keep her self in check and balance her regiments of cardio and resistance training then that's the route I would recomend. If a chick starts looking like a man with a 6 pack and veiny arms then yea that shits ugly, but there is no better way to drop weight, keep it off and high light the ass, tits, legs and mid section than with a good well rounded routine. There were quite a few lookers in that crossfit link. Now if a bitch is banging out 315 lb squats for an hour then by default she is going to look like a man beast. the best looking chicks that I see in the gym are the ones bench pressing a bar with 10 or 20 lbs on it, squating an empty bar, and curling 10 lb weights. They're doing resistance training on the regular but they aren't bulking up. They're keeping their shit tight so that men will want to fuck them.

You can work stupid, but you can't fix a fat body.

Checkmat you starting to sound like a [Image: troll.gif] there is fewer things more attractive to me than muscles on a girl.

Understand that muscles are a simulacrum for a penis. Big tense veiny muscles look like an erection. Same with big noses.

I don't want to be looking at dick on a woman. Why are you promoting this masculinization of girls?

...Nobody is trying to convince you muscular women are hot. Relax.

Understand that for a woman to look muscular or have visible veins in her appendages takes a lot of work. Those women that look that way, want to look that way. It didn't just "oops happen accidentally because I lifted a barbell."

If getting shredded and muscular were that easy, suburban gyms wouldn't be full of soft, weak beta guys struggling with 185 on the bench and half-squatting 225.

I've been powerlifting for 5 years and look like an average guy, yet near elite in a couple of my lifts. Despite my best efforts and have the androgenic properties of a man, 10x the testosterone of a woman, I still look "average." Nobody would classify me as muscular.
Women have something like one-tenth of the androgen receptors men have. Not to mention the amount of dietary discipline the aforementioned women have to actually get unusually-low bodyfat percentages for women. Again, no easy feat for any woman or man to do. These are deliberate physique changes and are extreme. The woman that look ripped and muscular are the tiny, TINY minority and the vast majority of average women who walk into a weight room and squat, bench and deadlift with regularity will never look anything close to those muscular women. What they will develop is a firm ass, a better work ethic and tighter stomach. Any amount of visible muscularity or vascularity will come down to their nutrition.

You didn't address any of the points in my posts anyway so I'll leave it at that. "Muscular women look like penises", strong argument.

I've been gyming for 24 years now, and love athletic women. A fit, toned female body isn't masculine. The girls are disciplined, work towards goals, and understand cause and effect. Checkmat is right, the vascular freaks are a tiny majority. They have healthy relationships with food, and will cook and prepare their meals. They understand cause and effect. I hate using this hippieish term, but they radiate positive energy. They're alive, in every way that a snarky, cubicle-dwelling, Jezebel-reading, every-tv-show-in-existence-binge-watching, cat-loving, college student isn't.

Yeah, they're still prone to hamsterisation, but they work hard to attract the attention of big alpha males, and, from my dating experience, love being submissively-feminine in the relationship due to their attraction to the exaggerated male sex signifiers you get in bodybuilders. The sex is much higher-quality, because they know they look good naked from every angle; are aerobically-fit enough to go physically-hard; are prone to coregasms; love sex, since they're not bitter and depressed; and they get wifed up very quickly by high-value men. They retain their figure even after multiple babies.

Yeah, I know, pedastalisation. They can still be crazy, but their high quality makes tolerating their craziness far more worthwhile.

I love it when you discussing putting on more mass and they spin the hamster. I know you've heard the cliche: "Oh, you're big enough how you are. You don't want to get too muscular." What they really mean is "Dear god, i'm going to claw your biceps even harder while you piledrive me, and my girlfriends are all going to eat shit when I brag about my sex life."

Note: the trend may be West Coast.

Vegas in particular. Are my observations scientific? No.

Are they based on working out in major gyms in Vegas and La? Yes.

Granted, girls in La and Vegas are geared more with being in shape due to their careers based on looks etc.

I have countless Instagram examples of girls busting out biceps etc, which 3 years ago you would only see men preening like this.

In my opinion, it's not attractive and it's unnecessary. Toned women are sexy, having a 6 pack and veiny arms is not.

IPB but def not my ideal girl.

Just because you'd bang a chick doesn't make her hot. She's got man calves and upper arms.

Do you find men attractive?

There's a whole spectrum of girls.

She is borderline. A little more muscle and she will began to look like a male with tits.

That girl is amazing, I like a little bit of muscle on a girl. Not bodybuilder but I hate skinny arms/skinny legs

I hate flabby arms on a girl, and they only get worse as they age.

Perfectly reasonable letter to this lady is called "bullying." Seeing her butt-hurt response is funny.

I have never been fat, but I know exactly what it is like to be judged for my size and hear unkind comments about my appearance. We need to shift the weight debate to health, rather than looks

Well Lucy. You could well be right.

But your opinion is not deemed worthy at RVF. You see, unfortunately, you have a vagina. Which also explains why you posted this nonsense, having disregarded the fact that there might be a culture here that doesn’t cater to your whims or give a damn about your opinions.

Read the rules. TITS or GTFO.
