Ok. Still at it. Heimdall is working but gave me this error:

Initialising connection…
Detecting device…
Claiming interface…
ERROR: Claiming interface failed!

According to that website, its due to kies. I think I'm done with this unless I can find someone with a PC and install Odin on that.

On Windows I'd kill Kies and adb.exe in task manager. Dunno about mac but you should kill kies and adb and try it again. or
maybe you could use one of these Windows emulators to run Odin on Mac.

Edit: found something. It's a Wineskin wrapper for Odin and apparently it works for Mac OSX. Also I found something for Kies on xda thread:

Note: If this does NOT work AND you have Samsung Kies installed, type these three lines into Terminal:
Code:

sudo kextunload -b com.devguru.driver.SamsungComposite

sudo kextunload -b com.devguru.driver.SamsungACMData

sudo kextunload -b com.devguru.driver.SamsungACMControl
Try writing these lines into terminal and trying again.

Ok, so I ended up loosing that S4 on Halloween and now I have a Nexus 5 which I just rooted using with SuperSU:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_...VKe1f32Zsk

How do I install dsploit and faceniff?

Downloaded sharpwatcher and hotspot shield. Hotspot shield seems to be constantly using data if I leave it on so is it best for me to turn it off and only have it on when I'm using a public wifi?

Ok, I installed both Dsploit and Faceniff on my Nexus 5. Looks like when I run the password sniffer on my own laptop from my phone, the internet connection cancels out on my mac. Also, facebook has https so it doesn't look like Dsploit would pick up on that. When using Faceniff, I didn't pick up on anything, but I also only ran it for around 5 mintues. If it matters, I'm using Chrome on a Macbook Pro.

Also reading through this thread again, I'm not sure what SSLStrip App is and why I should install it.

Before I begin, I want to thank all forum members and Roosh for their advice and help. Since they gave me so much, I decided to give something back - I consider these tools essential because in today's modern corporate world you cannot fight or assert yourself today without risking your job, name etc. and so these tools come into play.

Before trying to install these tools make sure your android phone is rooted - the easiest way to root your phone is by installing Framaroot on your phone - there is no risk of data loss or phone bricking: if it doesn't work, then it doesn't and that's it - nothing will be changed on your phone; if you still want to root your phone, you should google how to root it manually.
Also, your phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the victims.

Now let's begin.

First tool is dSploit. When you start it, it lists the router you're connected to, devices connected to the router and subnet mask. By selecting the router you can fuck with all PC's and smartphones connected to it.
How is this useful?
By selecting MITM and then Kill Connections you can stop every girl in the bar from using Facebook and thus you can prevent smarphones from cockblocking you.
Using password sniffer and session hijacker allows you to steal their facebook login and other pages so when shit hits the fan (ie. girl is trying to fire you from your job) you can make sure you'll be taking her down with you or you can forge evidence - you can send various messages to your facebook inbox from her facebook - which you can later show to your boss and keep the job etc. The only problem with these two is that they sometimes work, and sometimes don't; there's a tool called FaceNiff that's much more reliable for that - it's posted below.
By using JavaScript Injection you can send everyone annoying pop-up whenever they open a webpage - it's extremely useful when you have an annoying coworker who wants to push your buttons and get you fired/demoted: just imagine the reactions when everyone (including the boss) gets a pop-up saying "My name is John/Paul/whatever and I finally came out of the closet" whenever they try to browse Facebook or open their mail.

The second one is FaceNiff. This one can steal passwords and session from facebook, youtube, amazon, twitter... Unlike dSploit, which is not realiable for stealing logins, this one works every time. When you install it, just press Menu->Unlock app->Save key to unlock it then restart it. When you want to steal logins, make sure Stealth and SSLStrip are checked and press start. In just a few minutes you'll have numerous logins, and thus you can blackmail any coworker who tries to get you fired because you hurt his/her feeeeeeelliiiiings or you can make sure he/she/it gets fired so you keep your job.

These two saved my ass (and sanity) numerous times - if it wasn't for these two tools, I would've been fired or have a file that would basically ensure I would never find a good paying job. Also, it's next to impossible to find out who is using them - even if you know they've been used, there's no way to find out who's been using them - even if they find out it's a Galaxy S3 or xperia, they cannot ever prove you've been using it.

Now that I got you afraid of using public Wi-Fi hotspots, there is a way to protect yourself - a VPN like Hotspot Shield will make sure your passwords can't be sniffed while ARP protection tool like shARPWatcher will warn you that someone is using these two so you know not to use that particular Wi-Fi.

How stealing people's logins save your job? It makes no sense to me.

Yes, use it only if you are on public WiFi so they can't get your passwords.

Also reading through this thread again, I'm not sure what SSLStrip App is and why I should install it.

SSLStrip removes the s in https, so instead of going to https they go to http, FaceNiff's SSL Stripping uses less battery but only works on some pages, while SSLStrip works on most pages. You need to run dSploit first on subnet, after starting password sniffer send it to background by pressing home button and then run either FaceNiff or SSLStrip (make sure SSLStrip option is selected in either of them), after that go back to dSploit. If you see a circle spinning that means you've set everything up. If you don't see a circle spinning it means android killed the process, and you should stop FaceNiff or SSLStrip (whichever you ran first) and do it again. If it killed you internet connection try restarting your router, all of these apps use ARP Spoofing whoch means your phone is acting like a router, intercepting all traffic to and from your router which means it can read passwords if it intercepts it.

You wouldn't fire or fuck with an employee if he has company's passwords, would you? Especially if that includes Facebook and PayPal passwords.

Every browser can show you saved passwords. Here's how to do it in Firefox.

That's for Firefox. Use Google to find out how for other browsers. If you wanted something to log everytime even if browsers don't save the passwords, there are free and paid keyloggers for that.

What are some must have apps that you can use without rooting? Doesn't have to be for hacking or anything like that.

PhoneMyPC and Teamviewer for remote control of your PC, various tethering tools (easy to find on Google Play, you can use the phone as a WiFi receiver for the PC), AutoRap and Songify for fun karaoke at party (somewhat like autotune), Dropbox is also very nice for keeping backups and easily syncing files between your PC and phone, ES File Explorer as a file manager, Orbot can be used if you're concerned about privacy (doesn't need root, but some features only work on rooted phones), OsmAnd for free offline GPS maps, Blackmart Alpha for getting paid apps for free.

What does it depend on? I want the fastest and most reliable one that can maybe block ads.

Opera Mini for simple reading like forum because it uses the least battery and bandwith, Opera Mobile if I need animations or watching videos (if the site is complex), while Firefox if some pages can't be rendered in Mobile. AdAway on rooted phones removes ads.

It's the best free file manager, if you have root it can even install multiple apps without you needing to confirm installation, it shows you a nice graph about disk usage (which files and folders use the most space). You don't need it but it's one of the best file managers, and the best free one in my opinion - it has lots of features of paid file managers. If you don't use a file manager very often, then no. But if you do, then this one's the best free one you can get.

Yeah I think its to much for my phone. I don't treat my phone like a computer, just for internet surfing and some apps. I do want to root and delete the stock software but I'm scared ill mess something up

Have you tried different "desktops"? I'm using ADW but it acts weird sometimes.

Try Framaroot - it can't brick your phone if it doesn't work.

You install it, then install Orweb, then you activate Orbot. If you have root there's an option to use it for every app (Tor Everything option under Transparent proxying), but if not then use Orweb. Every time Orweb is started it should open a webpage to check if you're using Tor, if it doesn't just visit this site. You can also use Firefox with the Proxy Mobile addon, just make sure the addon is disabled when not using Orbot, otherwise Firefox won't be able to connet to any web page.
