I read that book, it was interesting to read about male friendship from a female perspective. Apart from that there wasn't anything particularly interesting or new.

What a load of nonsense. Last time I checked, the majority of homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics, school drop outs, illiterates, jobless, convicted criminals, those living unhealthy etc etc. were men, not women.

It's men who are falling through the cracks in society.
Men are the fragile sex, not the strong sex, even medicine knows that (weaker immune system, lower life expectancy, more serious illnesses etc. )

Sheesh, you sound like a trolling woman. [Image: troll.gif]

She's saying that it sucks to be man because she doesn't know how to be a man.

We've had much more experience at than she. It's like that lesbo I hooked up with yesterday saying that it's much harder for her to get girls. Why? Because you don't have any game, you dyke. You never needed it.

That book is bullshit. It's much better to be a man than a woman.

This is a cruel realization for a lot of bi-curious girls. Not having any game as a lesbian is harder than not having any game as a male. Successful lesbians have 3-4 girls line up.

Reading this book now, honestly very interesting so far...

This supports my anecdotal life experiences that, on the whole, lesbian women are far less cunty and contemptuous of heterosexual men than are heterosexual women.
Once during a discussion on the topic of divorce/child custody or some such matter, I absentmindedly interjected in front of a lesbian couple I'm acquainted with that "Men have it pretty rough when it comes to family courts."
I quickly realized my slip, and expected subsequent outrage and indignation at my politically incorrect statement.
The "man" of the lesbian couple hardly missed a beat, and chimed in "Men have it pretty rough in most regards..."
I was mildly astonished.

From where did the "penis hating lesbian" stereotype originate?

There is a sort of feminist perspective throughout the video that seems kind of lame, but for the most part there are a lot of gems here. Rarely do feminists believe that men have physical hard-wired urges when it comes to sex. Norah notes that for women she realizes that sex drives are highly emotional, and sex drives for men are highly physical, and that for married men, seeking other avenues for sex is a physical need, not an emotional one - a concept most women fail to grasp.

"I found out that gender lives in your brain, and it is something much more than costume." Norah's statement is in stark contrast from the feminist ideology of gender and how feminists believe gender can be altered or shaped in order to achieve equality.

Norah says in regards to male struggles, "they have different problems but they don't have it better" and when asked if Norah thought that women understood what it is like to be a man she responds, "not at all, no clue, no idea."

I can respect someone who is willing to understand both sides of the argument. I'll definitely finish reading this book soon, but in the meantime, anyone who is interested I suggest you watch this video and/or look into the book.

I was going to make a new thread, but I found this one and figured I would just contribute my post here.

From the many angry lesbian feminists who made up the feminist movement of the early 1970s. Rather than list names, I'll give you two links:

That said, I'll agree a lot of lesbians are pretty cool toward men -- just as a lot of gay men I know are seriously Red Pill and conservative. What happens is that the loudest most vocal members of these groups become their face. Still, politically they all do tend to tilt left as a group.

There clearly are uniquely male struggles all too often ignored and trivialized by women/MSM, but let's be real here- this particular experiment only proves how tough it is to be an androgynous, testosterone-lacking psuedo "man." In the video, the people who encounter this "Ned" character all sense that something's off about him (most commonly believing that he's gay). A woman posing as a man cannot accurately simulate the experiences of a real, dick possessing man.

With regard to being smarter...I wish it were true.

Are you joking? Men are smarter than women on average. Perhaps not in terms of IQ, but men have a much wider knowledge base and have interests in a much more diverse array of subjects, which are not limited to themselves and celebrity gossip. Talking of IQ though, men ARE more likely to be both at the bottom end, and the top end. Men tend to extremes, women's intelligence falls between lesser parameters, if that makes sense.

On of the highest academic presences in Pshychology, I had coruses with during my master, a man that was in his 80 and thus lived before feminism (2.0 at least) said:
"You know , my dears, why woman rank on avreage on IQ tests 100?!
Because many years ago, you shall not find this in any book, at least not on-line, when the IQ test came out

men used to out score women by 50-60%.

So they introduced the last part, the linguistic part so women have something to balance with".

This is sort of an oversimplification. If "strong" means tolerance for pain, or immunity to illness, women are stronger; if "strong" means capacity for physical exertion or risk taking, men are stronger. But I think I get what you're saying. So many manosphere dudes get mad as fuck when feminists say women are better than men, then come right up on the rebound saying men are so much better than women. I don't know if I've learned a whole lot in my life, but I sure as fuck know that you're not a grown adult if you think like that. It's the perfect recipe for ensuring that retarded Western gender politics keeps destroying society for years and years to come.[/quote]

The myth that women have pain tolerance was propagandised in the 70's by feminist. I wrote an article debunkin this. But here it serves well enought to point out just this:
1. Feminist said women were oppresed back in the day because women worked even when 9 months pregnant. They sat down had the baby and two hours later worked again. PATRIARCHY !
2. Feminist don't realise that child birth must not be that difficult if after 2 hours you can work again.

Late to the game here, but her experiences will never really let her know how it is to be a man. Of course.

It was likely much harder for her than it would be for a well adjusted early 20's man. Perhaps even younger, but not too much, as we all know the confusion teenage boys have toward the world.

Good for her though, I imagine it would have been tough. Even tougher than if she was actually born with testicles.

I guess the great disappointment I see all around me is that men are born with nuts, but at some point in their lives see them as a burden and choose to hide them.

I echo others in this thread. I'm currently reading it, and it's fascinating. Highly recommended, and it's a shame more women (and men actually) haven't read it.

She admits herself that she'll never truly know what it's like to be a man, due to having so much less testosterone (women have some) than us, and like others have said, not growing up as a male. That said, she's pretty much a full-blown advocate of ingrained genders and so on. To the point where she even considers us as essentially two separate species, such is the difference in our makeup.

Whilst I think that might be a little bit of hyperbole, there's many a reason why modern/3rd wave feminists don't want to touch this book with a barge pole. Norah Vincent = 9/10 WDBW....Would Drink a Beer With.

I have to say that this came immediately to mind:
