Here's a different autotune song from the one Speakeasy posted. This one is well done and surprsingly clever. I'm amazed that someone cranked this out so fast.

I'm not sure why he's being lauded as a "hero". Sure, what he did was great, but it wasn't difficult, and there was no risk of personal harm. Good deed, but not heroic.

I think he's a hero. He could've finished his lunch and said "I don't give a fuck what's going on over there," and taken a nap and then it would've been another ten years before they escaped.

Plus he's damaging the guys house just because some girl's flipping out and he has no idea if the guy's gonna pop up from somewhere and shoot him.

Sure, it wasn't that hard to do, he didn't spend years investigating and surveilling and break down doors and windows and get in a gun battle. Sometimes being a hero is as simple as putting down your burger and fries and going to help someone in distress.

EDIT: Oops, okay, he broke down one door!

haha Anyone else see his "deer in the headlights" look when the siren goes off at 1:05? This guy's been around the block a time or two...

Anyways, good on him for acting on his instincts. Of course, most decent people would have done it, but a lot of indecent people would have sat there with their thumbs up there asses. Rewarding each other with recognition when we do the right thing, no matter how obvious it is to do it, is what keeps people doing the right thing.

Give the man his props.

I'd like to believe that this was a genuine act of heroism on his part without any ulterior motive. However with all the news events presently seen involving staged heroism, false rape, shameful corporation abuse and marketing, people staging attacks, and other malicious propaganda, one can't help but be skeptical of what they see or hear in the news today.

Honestly... kicking a screen in and calling the cops, is that a heroic act? I helped a blind person over the road last week and I helped a young mother with her pram on public transport today, am I a hero too?

These guys had them chained up that whole time. The women gave birth to 5 kids in the span of being in their dungeon.

Just because this ended without this guy getting hurt doesn't mean there wasn't a risk of personal harm. To say differently is simply Monday Morning Quarterbacking. I'll agree that the hero tag gets thrown around too easily, but in today's society, more often than not people just walk on by unless it's obviously an extraordinary circumstance. Even "decent" people kind of put their heads down and go on their way. If you're kicking in the door or window of a stranger's house to help someone you think might be in distress, you're risking yourself. Considering what we now know about what was going on in that house, this guy's actions qualify as heroic.

From the above linked article:

Quote:Quote:

Isreal Lugo, who lives three doors down from Castro, claimed that neighbours had called police to the property on several occasions.

He said: “About two years some one called the police saying they had seen someone inside the property banging on a window.

"The police showed up but they couldn’t get a response so they just thought it was a hoax.”

Someone done fucked up.

And now there is a internal investigation to see if anything was overlooked. Needless to say, I think the answer is obvious.

Wow already complaints about the autotunes. Are these microtrigger or microaggressions? A guy I went to school with posted this article. I don't see how this harms black people.

TMZ says he was involved in domestic violence. The silence will be deafening on this one.

So he had a stormy relationship with his ex. "Domestic violence" is pretty broad, and there really aren't any details about what happened. The ex might be a crazy bitch, and as you know, men usually get the short end of these domestic disputes. I really don't see what it has to do with his actions here.

I'm not saying it has anything to do with his actions. I;m saying he will not be properly credited in certain quarters.

It appears the guy had issues and has worked them out and then did something really good.

Or maybe they'll be silent b/c per that article the case was over 15 years ago?

Charles, you got it: Something is wrong when a little pretty White girl runs into a Black man's arms. These two guys should be more discrete since they both are married.

Of course, Charles actually means Black men like him. Be real, before he made the news how tight would that guy's game have to be to pull a white girl?

I predict plenty of White pussy for him while he still has his fifteen minutes of fame.
