Elabayarde’s Supreme Santo Domingo Data sheet.

Safety brief & Disclaimer:
I wanna start this thread with, if you stubble around in Santo Domingo drunk and retarded(for a extended period of time...), I guarantee you either a Dominican ass whopping, loss of life or robbery. While this is a fun city, it is a Latin American concrete jungle. There are very rich people here, even by American standards,(they say it’s the #1 country in the world for money laundering) as well as those who are poor to the point of desperate hunger. So while you have a lot of information about the safe and “peligroso” areas don’t be stupid.
The good thing is I don’t expect many westerners to not be freaked the F%# out when they see some of these areas anyway. Some are obviously very sketchy, but even the nice areas attract the “tigueres”(thugs) looking for a quick stick up. Remember FEAR IS GOOD. Its just your body telling your drunk brain, this isn’t a good situation.
So be safe!!!
While Dominicans fundamentally are beautiful people inside and out, when you are starving, YOU ARE STARVING. This makes us look like a steak dinners, so protect yourselves by staying smart.

I very fundamentally disagree with the suited up game (except Fri, and Sat) here, just because the cost versus benefits. I prefer to not be a target for the robbers, and have to DHV with “speaking English” to the superficial girls.

My Experiences with Robbery: I have been here more times than I can count, and I have been “setup” for a robbery or worse at night several times over. Three times I have got out of view of my followers briefly and removed my blazer, hat, and button up shirt. Then rolled them up in my hand and walked right by the “predators” in the middle of a crowed or small group of people. This shows that, they have no idea what I specifically look like. So they were not following me per-se, they were following... English or the baseball cap, or blazer jacket.

So remember this... SANTO DOMINGO IS DANGEROUS and you should be fine.
AND DON’T DRINK THE WATER!!!

TOP#9 Scams or set-ups(The Santo Domingo Dominican thought process)
#1 “Your drunk... let me take you away from the tourist police area(robbery)
#2 I speak English.... A.K.A. give me money and I will help you do basic things.
#3 You’re a gringo... I will charge you 3X more
#4 Even though you give me consistent business.. I will raise price every time.
#5 “I will have sex with you and ask for money after, even if im not a pro”
#6 “I am underage but don’t look like it, I will threaten to call the cops if you don’t give me money, BTW there are others in on this scam waiting outside”
#7 “I hungry my friend!!!... even though all my clothes are new, and clean”
#8 “I will take you to a dance club, many many girls!!! By dance club, I mean whore house.
#9 “ I will sell you something that’s not even mine”

SDQ- The Airport
When you get of the airplane:
#1 Get your tourist card
#2 go through customs
#3 pass through arrivals
#4 Buy your claro chip in the phone store up the escalator near, the second deck. Make sure your phone is unblocked. They can do it there if need be.
#5 Hungry!!! There are a few descent places to eat. My favorite is the pizza place that sits on the right hand side of the airport. Once you walk out of arrivals past the crowed waiting for international arrivals, look to the right and you will see it.
#6 “Taxi” will be screamed at you several times in this area. Its annoying. But be careful, people have been followed from the airport to there destination and robbed. Or been taken in to bad neighborhoods and robbed by the taxis friends. PM ME for numbers to trustworthy cabs. I usually have a laptop, iphone and ipad when I arrive. That alone is a years worth of salary for many dominicans. So I pay the extra 10 dollars for a safe and secure ride. I have caught the public bus, but you go through the worse part of east Sto Dgo. Not a good idea with luggage. I never pick up a taxi there.

PLACES:

Boca Chica-

Negative: A beach that resembles a kiddy pool. If you are into beaches this place will just piss you off. There are pros everywhere.

Positive: If you have a chick you value from DR, this place is ideal during the day. Take her there. Take a bottle of liquor with you from a local liquor store to the beach, then buy ice and mixers from a restaurant on the beach. As long as your buying juice and mixers they don’t mind you using the chairs and facilities. This cuts your expenses by 80 percent.
If your hungry, grab some fresh fish and fried plantains from one the stands that parallel the street. Buy Only the ones with fully-submerged fish in the marinade. Trust me on that one. My favorite is one of the places near the main road in front. There is a row of them, that you cant miss. They will cook it right in front of you.

Also, there are a few resorts there; I have no interests in such places so I wont expand on them. But they are very nice, so ...If thats what you like, to each there own. Just be ready to bang other tourist, or pro it up!!!

Also, on Mondays there is a club in boca chica, that is the place to be for locals. I pulled 3 groups of chicks in 10 mins. All of them groups of 3s. One for Me, one for Ali, and one for our Taxi driver.

Santo Domingo Este-
Most of the really dangerous neighborhoods are here or near the river that separates east from west. I would advise anyone who doesn’t look Dominican or Haitian, and speak Dominican Spanish to stay the #$@#$% outta here. I used to hate the fact that
I even have to drive through here to the airport. But, when
I have very little money on person and I am dressed down, I walk around there regularly. But again, I am not easily disguised from a local.
Here is a list of don’t go places. BUT...Ali and I have walked through most of them at night, but I was on my game times 10.(Again, dont try this at home) He says he would have gotten robbed several times over, if he went alone. (I easily pass as a local Moreno and he is a Rubio. If you don’t understand what I just said then you shouldnt be on your way to DR.)

DO NOT GO areas in Santo Domingo este!!!
los guandules,
guachupita
capotillo
cristo rey
la cienega
villa juana
villa Consuelo

Santo Domingo Oeste-

DO NOT GO places:

manoguallavo
girazoles
alcarrizo

You SHOULD be safe places:

Zona Colonial- The tourist district. This place has a few good bars and clubs.. There are many tourist, pro’s, normal chicks ect. PM me for names of current hotspots around here. I would stay here initially, if you don’t speak Spanish. The tourist police are very active in protecting foreigners, and you can use this as a starting point.
But also be advised that this is also a world known Gay sex tourist area. You will see 80yr white men, with 18yr domincans boys. But, gays don’t do... dangerous places. So its pretty safe. There are many many girls walking around and many speak English here. PM ME for list of hotspots in this area.

Malicon
There are a few good casinos and clubs on the strip here. I have taken a girl home from each one. SHOUT OUT TO EL-MECHANICO, he pioneered the Casino game that I followed. Jaragua is the best, but any cab can take you to each one.

If you strike out and its 4:30 at night... there are girl(whore) houses that are closing in this area. [Image: idea.gif] You will see the absolute highest quality girls getting off from work here. If your game is tight you can take them home from off the street, when they are getting off. Ali, can attest, to me running my game and seducing, one as she got off. But, your game should be tight. PM-ME if you want to know what type game I run here. I don’t want every Fucker running around duplicating and saturating my styles or approaches.

Avenida Venezuela... Club district.

This is real Dominican local club district. Very superficial, money is thrown around, and its actually in a neighborhood that if you stumble outside of, you will be definitely robbed. Do not set foot off of the immediate area. But you will know better once you get there. LOL

Naco- Upper Class Dominicans. There are many people in this area paying 3000-5000 dollars a month for there condo. These are the Dominicans who don’t walk outside without bodyguards. Being a gringo does nothing here, they all have been to the states and other countries and know they are more exotic to the west than we are...as Americans. LOL

But If your game is good, you can pull a hot chick with money, out of a discoteca around here. The music here will be more techno, electronic, versus tradition bachata. and salsa.

Game:
Pua style- Street approaches are harder than in the US by a factor of 3. This is a country that everyone is trying to scam others out of money, at any second. So people liturally ignore everyone around them, even when spoken to directly. Its rude to an American but it has its place. Don’t confuse this with a bitch shield, they don’t have them. This is a defense mechanism, to not have to tell everyone every five feet NOOO!!!

Day game-
Bars, and restaurants are the best. Girls are much more receptive and will talk very easily. This includes the service workers and bartenders. Universities are very secure, and its kind tough being that there is no campus life. Anywhere off the street is good for day game.

Night game-
Clubs and casinos. The girls in clubs are easy to game. You expect the US bitch shield, but its not there. Just walk up and talk. Buy them a drink if you want. Then venue change, let them think they are leading you to another spot even if you know where they are taking you. Divert to a liquors store, for what they view as high-end liquor, then proceed to your hotel bar, AKA your room. Every girl, who say tequila is a bird in the hand. I have yet, to not hit a girl who asked for tequila shots and after number 4, it is over. I had a half Thai and half Dominican chick with a stripper booty. [Image: heart.gif] I almost sent here home, because she had a weird personality, then I accidentally felt her ass. She ask for tequila, and tequila she received.

This should hook-up any guys here for a quick week or two.... I will be adding to the data sheet, periodically, and updating it. PM-ME with any questions. O yeah, LEARN SPANISH!!!! Me and Ali had a helluva time here. I still am here having a hell of a time [Image: banana.gif]

Stay-tooned for continuation of the data sheet!!!

Nice data sheet. I just have a few questions. Is there any hotel in Santo Domingo which you recommend? The last time I went there I stayed at the Jaragua. I has both a tower section and a "garden" section, which is cheaper and has a little more of a motel feel. I believe the Jaragua, which is owned by the Renaissance hotel chain, bought a Holiday Inn located behind the hotel and expanded. I believe the "garden" section was the old Holiday Inn. Last time I was there, a room in the garden section was just under $100.00 per night and a room in the tower was around $150.00 per night. Someone on another thread said that you can bring girls into the Jaragua. Is that the case? The last time I went there bringing any guests into the hotel was strictly forbidden. Hotel employees would flat out tell me to go to Tia Tania. Tia Tania is one of the many cabanas where they rent rooms by the hour. They have extensive music options and for some reason serve good food.

Santo Domingo was never one of the strongest nightlife cities of the world. It was, however, better in the past, maybe much better. In 2006, the government imposed a liquor curfew which caused many venues to become less popular and caused some popular venues to close completely. When I went back there about two years ago, I could still see some strong effects of the liquor curfew. I don't know if Santo Domingo is on its way back or if it is only a shadow of its old self.

Have you been to the Montecristo Cafe? Years ago on Tuesday nights they had a wine tasting which drew tons of talent. After the wine tasting, it would be a regular club night and was basically like shooting fish in a barrel. The last time I went there, the place was still in existence, but was really awful. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried daygaming at the Acropolis Mall? I have been there two or three times, but did not notice a great deal of talent there. The universities may be your best bet. I don't consider Santo Domingo to be a great day game city. Night game and pipelining are going to yield much better results.

Have you been to a lounge called Bottles? Does it even still exist? This place is located very close to the Acropolis Mall and used to be called La Republica. When it was called La Republica, it drew what was hands down the best talent I have ever seen in one venue in the Dominican Republic. When it changed to Bottles, it was still worth stopping in, but the decor had changed and the level of the talent had definitely decreased.

Have you been to Jet Set? This was always a good venue on Saturday and Monday nights. The last time I went, there was a policy that they would only let people in if they arrive in couples. They supposedly let me in because I am foreign. Being in a club full of couples was about the last thing I needed or wanted.

The places on Avenida Venezuela are good because they are cheap and they usually have a good crowd. If one place is dead on a particular night, you have so many options. I would charactarize the talent there as being mostly from below average to slightly above average, but then again, this is were Naughty Nomad pulled that beauty queen, which was validated by other forum members.

I mostly agree with your assessment of Boca Chica. Other than for bringing a girl there during the day, I tend to avoid the place. In my opinion, the one saving grace the place has is an all-inclusive called Hamaca. Hamaca has some decent-looking girls working in the hotel, restaurant, and casino. You can also meet some American, Canadian, and European tourists there if that's your thing. I much prefer to stay in Santo Domingo.

This brings me to a major question; what is the dress attire like in the nightlife areas of SDQ? I usually dress sharp but I know in some cities, like Rio, standing out in that way is not a good move for safety reasons. Also, is SDQ casual like Rio in that beach attire is the way to go? I can see how a collared shirt and dress shoes might be well received but I couldn't imagine putting on a blazer in that kind of environment. Isn't it tropical Caribbean? I naturally prefer dressing well so it won't be a problem but I want to know if it even makes sense down there.

I'm staying at the Renaissance Jaragua in a garden section room with an ocean view. Could you expand on your description of this part of the hotel?

I heard conflicting reports about the visitors policy at Renaissance so I called the hotel myself to verify a couple weeks ago. Each guest is allowed to bring two registered visitors. The girls (visitors) you bring to the hotel have to check-in at the front desk and show ID. Apparently this is done for the safety of the guests as some of these DR girls can get pretty wild [Image: smile.gif]

Hencredible:
There is a main hotel building which has a tower, a pretty nice casino, and one or more restaurants. There is another building right behind the main building which is where the garden rooms are. There is a small courtyard between the two hotel buildings. I have stayed in the garden section and although it was not bad, it was not as nice as the main hotel building. I seriously doubt staying in the garden section will cost you a notch or anything. You may want to check out the rooms in the garden section when you first get there and if you don't like what you see, you can try to negotiate an upgrade to the main building for just a little more money. I really didn't have a problem with the garden section, but it is not as nice as the main building. Thanks for the information on bringing girls into the hotel.

I find it easiest to post up at a cafe(outside) with a lot of foot traffic or near a bus stop. Just sit, make eye contact and gesture by tipping your drink at her in an inviting way then stand up, sit down and motion her to join you. This will work with girls that are in buses as well. They don't want to be on one and WILL get off to have a beer with you.

Exactly! Thats much much smarter! In the context of a situation like in calmadas, its much easier to pull a girl. I have a saying that if I can get her attention, I can bang her. But you have to be careful to not go to calmadas that, there is every dominican with no game screaming shit out every time a hottie walks by. I picked up this, and Ali can attest to it, because I noticed how hard one area was to pick up. I took it as something personal initially. Then, I stopped to think and observe... why will these girls not even look when, I say excuse me. Then I notice these lame dudes are all staring and saying obscene stuff s the girls walk by. So most literally walk across the street, or curve into the street to avoid walking directly on the side walk of the calmada.
So get this, I literally walked one block away, and picked up a chick that i banged within 4 hours. Ali, and I were in my room drinking with her in 3 hours. [Image: banana.gif]
If you havent noticed, Dominicans generally have NO GAME. THey are very good looking guys, who are surrounded by easy and good looking girls. They never have to learn game. In turn they are the biggest cock-blockers in the world.(especially for them selves)
But, E-Mech I heard you also, found another good method. A certain place that has a girl on every corner selling something in side alone. Ali, saw me do it twice and said yeah e-mech picked up on that when he was here. You can just go from place to place. I just approached by chance, because she looked bored. But, I will hit each one this week.

It depends on if you are gonna walk at all. If you gonna venture out on foot, I would only suit-up directly in the same areas as the Tourist police. But taking a car everywhere. you should be good. DEFINITELY, bring a blazer at a min. It is cool and breezy at night down here, even in the summer. But as long as you dont, wear jewelry when you dreass down, they dont know the difference. For example, When I dress down... I still have 7 jeans on. $300 jeans. They dont even know that they are expensive jeans. So, things like blazers and things are what they will notice as high class cash.
They dress like people from the states generally speaking, in night life. Blazer and jeans is the best move. You out-do them by a little, but not to stick out to much.

Blazers work well here, but I've not been to a place where a suit would have given an edge. The club in Boca Chica is Maximum Playa. Not worth it in my opinion unless you have a car. The same results can be achieved on Fri-Sat nights on Venezuela Ave.

Bring a couple of blazers. It cools down a bit at night, but day game in a blazer will kill you with the heat and humidity.

I used AirBnb to find my apartment, and used the street name to find it. That saved me over $150 per month. Make sure when you do a search NOT to book in Santo Domingo Este. Check the map!

The reason girls aren't receptive to street game is due to the shady dudes everywhere. It's not that their getting hustled, but getting cat called constantly by slimy dudes. Taxy drivers, deportees, and hustlers are the worst. You'll hear it when it starts off with, "Heyyyyyyy, mommasitaaaaaaaaa, k lo k aye.....ect ect ect. " Nasty. Watch how quick a driver wants to cat call for you. What he doing is 100% cockblocking.

Like emech said, be stationary, or catch them sitting.

The uni's are hard as hell to pull. Social circles are big, and they don't want to be seen hooking up with a foreigner. It takes time.

As for the Laragua. I've got the place on lockdown, to the point they threw me a birthday party. Banged a dealer from there. It's the most popular casino in town to the point the President and his wife go. Some tips:

1. Avoid the food and drinks at the bar. Go gamble and get it for free. A small beer is 189 pesos. Outrageous.

2. Avoid the smoke pit. It's full of weirdo's and people sleeping. And hookers, and most importantly underage girls. BE CAREFUL. They let jailbait in, so keep your guard up. Go smoke on the steps or side entrance.

3. Occasionally check out the Blue Bar. Because of the casino's popularity, high end events are constantly held, so walk through the lobby to the rear, to check out the goings on.

4. Avoid the casino taxis. Walk to the back entrance of the casino. There are regular cabs out there around the cafe.

5. The internet isn't free. Be prepared for price gouging.

6. When I stayed they allowed me 1 registered guest. Be prepared to pay out for fuck hotels....and have to get up early when your time is up.

7. Hookers. They're entrenched. They will sit next to you at a table and become a "tormenta". Be prepared to get up and reposition. The staff won't run them off. Huge cockblocking factor.

8. Tranny's. They specifically target black American men, and will take advantage of you in the bathrooms. They hide in the stalls. "Cuidado".

9. Payday is big there. The 1st and 15th of the month. Girls pile in there and blow all their money, quickly, due to being stupid with gambling. Good opportunity to pickup. Just look for that pitiful look when they are sitting in front of the slots not playing.

The big disadvantage to the Laragua is location. You are gonna have to cab it everywhere. The area behind is mostly hospitals and support biz. Not a lot of options for pickup and eating. Just West of the casino on the Malecon is an open air bar with big green Presidente signs. I've seen talent there, and if you can dance all the better. They have a Mariachi band on Tue. or Wed. nights. Not my stile of music but they are good, and I enjoyed the night.

I only went there for the casino. Ali stayed there a couple nights at first. Ill ask him.

So people liturally ignore everyone around them, even when spoken to directly. Its rude to an American but it has its place. Don’t confuse this with a bitch shield, they don’t have them. This is a defense mechanism, to not have to tell everyone every five feet NOOO!!!"

My secrets! Guys, I run my game there in shorts and sneakers and never get near a nightclub. Think outside the box and watch what's really going on. Suited club game is a waste of time. De-program yourselves.

Pissed off and depressed last night, rainng like hell, my girl blows me off to go out with a dominican last night and hitting plaza cental daytime produces no results. So i contemplate going to santiago to break the monotony, when it starts pouring ass rain again. So i shower and head to the casino to play poker. Within an hour i am down $175, and am getting ready to leave. But i get hot and go on a run. In two hours i get back my $175 and win $600 more. Time to go its 3:30 and im horney as hell. So i go to the disco at the melia and try to figure out which girls are working and who is not but it doesnt matter i am too pent up. So i start dancing with a 23 yr old hottie. Of course she is doing the typical dr dance of rubbing her hot ass on my balls and gets me all worked up. Of couse now it is 4am and she says ok when i say lets go. I am waiting for the money issue when sure enough she needs to pay for." "las classes en la universidad" ok im game. But she earned every penny becuause twice last night and she even hung around in the morning and we did it again.

While i was driving her home she asked me if i wanted to be her boyfriend. What, one of eight? No thanks i need to hit the beach today in juan dolio and look for a new chica from san pedro. Love it or hate it this is dr.

As for the Laragua. I've got the place on lockdown, to the point they threw me a birthday party. Banged a dealer from there. It's the most popular casino in town to the point the President and his wife go. Some tips:

2. Avoid the smoke pit. It's full of weirdo's and people sleeping. And hookers, and most importantly underage girls. BE CAREFUL. They let jailbait in, so keep your guard up. Go smoke on the steps or side entrance.

I am not quite sure what you mean by the "smoke pit." I imagine you are referring to a smoking area which is located in the casino area of the Jaragua. I don't remember being in the smoke pit or seeing it, but I didn't spend a great deal of time in the casino when I stayed there. When you leave the casino at the Jaragua and head to the hotel area, the front desk is on your left. If you keep walking past the front desk toward the garden area, there is a lounge which has couches. This lounge attracts some seedy characters. I have no idea why the hotel lets these people in. There was some guy who would post up there every day and would say incredibly stupid things to me like, "I have a friend who is visiting Santo Domingo from the university and I think you are exactly her type." Great. I wouldn't be at all suprised if that guy is still hanging around the lounge area of the hotel. If you don't know to avoid pelotudos like that guy, you probably don't belong in Latin America.

I find taxis to be far less easy to find in Santo Domingo than in many other cities. Your best bet is of course to find a taxi driver who is honest (or as close to being honest as possible. This is Santo Domingo we are talking about) and call or text him whenever you need a ride. The hotel area of the Jaragua has a taxi stand, but in my experience those taxis are more expensive, often much more expensive, than the taxis which you will find through other means. There were probably be times where you will have no other choice but to take a taxi from the Jaragua taxi stand. If so, tell Eusebio at the taxi stand that el novio de la venezolana says hi. That guy calls me every once in a great while to see when I will be returning to Santo Domingo.

LOL...I was in that smoke pit. I had some italian drug dealer type cat or something following me around saying... if you can hit a homerun.... then you can make a deal with me.
Ali was like WTf, is this guy talking about. Lets get outta here. In the smoke pit there are some weirdos. There is soooo much illegitimate money here they go and throw it all away on the table. You get all types here.

The smoke pit is a little room in the front of the casino for smoking they don't like you doing it out front. I love the smoke pit! There's all type of freaks in there. I met this PR guy with crossed eyes who told me about how to handle myself on the mean streets. After an hour he tried to pimp some of the hookers he met out there with some reverse psychology on me by telling they they were bad then he talked with them and it turns out they're ok and not really hookers.

Tip..Bring a couple packs of the worst smokes you can get your hands on and when someone bums one off you give them a shit smoke in there.

They have late clubs in town. Good to know where they are to keep the party going. One is in the casino next to the laragua, called club Pure.

There are two late night spots that I know of. One is Club Pure, as Ali said. If you go out of the main entrance of the Jaragua, make a left, and the next hotel on your left is the Melia. Club Pure is in the Melia. It used to be called Coppa and was owned by the former owner of Cafe Trio, which was my favorite venue in the world. When the liquor curfew came into place, the owner of Trio closed the club, because he could stay open much later in Coppa. Coppa always drew a worse crowd than Trio because of its location on the Malecon. It may have changed hands when it became Club Pure. The other late night option is the disco in Hotel Aurora. I believe Club Pure is your best choice, because it is right next to the Jaragua. Logistics are great.

I'm glad someone had track of the time. We did pull girls, but my wing ejected at the last minute for good reason. I was left to clean up the mess, and did so with extreme prejudice. The driver took me a 24 hr diner that is close and I ordered mondongo and a hamburger.

During the order the cops showed up and asked who I was generally asked questions out of boredom. By the end of the convo the senior officer handed me his pistol to inspect and entered his number in my phone, telling me to call if I had any problems whatsover. Got the cops and casino on lockdown already. That's how you roll gents.

Meeting elabayrde on the North Coast tomorrow.Yo soy un tormenta!

Oh yeah, met patrons g/f. All I can say is......DAYUM!!!!!!![Image: banana.gif]
