After 2 months down here I have to say that the slang is pretty severe.

I've been thinking about doing spanish in this country in the fall. I guess that is out of the question.

In short, too much work for a girl. And yes, its almost pussy paradise, but not really. It can be easy enough that I don't want to work for it. Also, on this tourist area a lot of girls don't want to be seen with a white dude because there are so many pros working the white dudes here. But, yes, in theory it was possible for me to at least number close if I wanted to put in the effort.

These pics were taken on "el conde", which is the main pedestrian street in the colonial zone, or old city of Santo Domingo. It represents a pretty good cross section of dominicans, though perhaps more middle class. It's also the main tourist area of the city. The pics were taken around 6 pm on a weekday. I had chicken with salad for lunch, and....
