IMO, Brickell is more for wealthier professionals to parade their status with likeminded people

I thought that's what South Beach is.

On this forum it's often said that Brickell is full of young latina chicks who speak little English, so Spanish is needed. That's what sparked my interest.

Ehh, more of those in Brickell than anywhere except Calle Ocho or Hialeah. A few caveats, though...maybe it's just the crowds I roll with, but Brickell-goers tend to be young accountants, lawyers, doctors, financial analysts, etc., and many of these people are white. And, in my experience, most of the Latinas actually know English.

Yes, South Beach has even wealthier patrons, on average, but most are from out of town. If a Miami local is going to the high-end places in South Beach, usually he or she is blowing a paycheck on a night out, is fairly/very rich from work, or was born with a silver spoon (a lot of people).

Personally, I think downtown and Midtown are the best places to pick up girls, but obviously it's my experience.

I think a lot of the "Spanish only" talk is overblown.

The places that most guys are going to are not going to be over-ran with people who can't communicate in English.

Latin people use Spanish as a barrier, when some of these girls don't want to engage they may put on that they don't speak English, in other words, it's mostly game.

There are plenty of parts of the city, that again most guys are not talking about going to, where people will not necessarily communicate well in English, but Brickell is not one of them.
