Studying in Brazil, Romania or Czech Rep

Hey guys, so, i'm having the opportunity to study in one of these 3 places, and id like to know your insight on wich would be better for hot girls, easiness of pickup, cost of living and life quality overall. Btw I'm brazillian. My choice here would be to go to Florianopolis, in Romania it would be Bucharest and in the Czech Rep it would be Prague. Wich city would you choose? Gotta make it clear that this is a long term choice, since my bachelor is 6 years long, im quite nervous about this [Image: biggrin.gif]

If you're Brazilian, what would be the point of studying in Floripa? Are you from a completely different region of the country? If you hash this out a little bit more, maybe we can give you better advice.

Shouldn't the quality of education/value of the degree + potential job prospects after graduation be the major determinant in this decision??

There are hot girls everywhere, get your priorities right. Get a great education and then job after that. You will find the hot pussy will follow you instead of the other way round. Just my 2 cents!!

I've been to all three places. Florianopolis would be the easiest to bang a lot of girls. I have a preference white girls, especially central/eastern euro girls, so I would choose Bucharest and then Prague, even though it would require more work. Bucharest has the most amount of hot girls followed by Prague and then Floripa. Czechs are known for having some of the biggest tits in Europe, if that's your thing. Romanians are more about the ass.

Czech republic, go where you look the least like the locals. It is the most important variable. Your own country shouldnt even be an option. Go there in a free weekend or something.

Well tbh i live around the region, so i have been preparing for the universities that are close to me, but since i have gotten the chance to go to europe, i had been thinking about romania, since i've heard great things about girls and cost of life there.

And Chengiz88, universities here in Brazil arent really top class at all, and by studying in a country of the EU i gain access to a LOT of countries wich i can live and work at, and most of them have much better quality of life than Brazil, also its much easier to get my diploma certified in Brazil in case i wanna come back. Either way, i wanna have the best experiences ever in college! Haha so thats why I'm putting women quality in the equation, since i dont really wanna spend my college years in a country with ruthless women like Dennmark for example

My guess is that Czech universities are probably better than those in Romania and Brazil. Prices are still cheap and women are slavic and pretty, so it seems like you'd get the best of both worlds. On top of that if you look like the average mestizo brazilian you'd probably be very exotic in the Czech republic but not so much in Romania.

How come you (only) have the chance of studying in those places? What about other countries?

Its not like i have ONLY these places as a choice, but i want to do medicine, and in these places( Czech Rep and Romania ) is less hard to enter in comparison to England or Germany for example. In the US is almost impossible if i dont have a green card, so like, I've been looking at Eastern European countries. I've heard about Hungary too, but it seems that exotic factor is almost nonexistent and that women can be quite cold too. Anyways, im open for suggestions [Image: smile.gif]

Just based on what i've read, I'd go with the Czech Republic. You'd get more of the same in Brazil, and the general opinion on Romania is mixed.

I don't think studying abroad for a full medicine degree based on potential bangs is a good strategy/decision. If you study medicine in a Romanian shithole you may not even be able to practice anywhere else. I'd research universities and medicine programs and then based my decision on that.

I'd study in Brazil and go on exchange for a semester or two, or simply attend a top well-known school abroad.

As some of the others have mentioned, I would pick your medical school by ranking and prestige. If the three choices your presented are the only ones, I would go with whichever rewards the most recognized medical degree. I picked a university by ranking in Europe (the Netherlands but not Amsterdam) and I am doing just fine with the ladies. Don't sacrifice long term future for short term rewards.

EDIT: I would add that I have been to Romania and I love their women. Plus it is a very cheap country. Did you look up Cluj-Napoca? I remember hearing there were some medical schools there.

the best medical schools in Romania are this 3, in the following order

Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Carol Davila din Bucuresti

Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Gr. T. Popa din Iasi

Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Iuliu Hatieganu din Cluj-Napoca

There are hundreds of foreign students studying here, mostly from arab countries, france, greece, spain etc.

I heard good things about medical schools in Poland. In Wroclaw there's many international med students, specially from Sweden and Norway.

Prague has way too many tourists and foreigners living there, I met a few americans studying there back in 2005. Cannot imagine what it is like now, just not on my radar.

Bucharest would be my easy winner.

Always better to get out of your home country for a bit, even when it's Brazil. But I wonder how you can get a degree in Romania or Czech Republic. I assume the degrees are in English. I'd look into Germany too since education is free there though I think you said it is harder to get into. Like others said I would not go to a univ just for the chicks. Go to the top place. They'll be chicks anywhere you go in Europe (a lot better than if you ended up in the USA).

But in bucharest a lot of people look kind of latino, so he will stand out less tjan in czech.. better for integrating. Worse for gaming and achieving a rockstar status.

I honestly think this question would be best answered on a forum like Student Doctor Network, they have an international section.
As long as you stay in shape and don't have autism, you will be ahead of 90% of your medical school classmates, so pussy will not be an issue.
Your decision should be based ENTIRELY on things that will affect your medical career - prestige of school, cost of school/debt load, legal issues affecting where you can do your residency afterwards, etc etc.

Choose the best school you can afford.

I have spent a lot of time in Czech, Prague is played out. A friend was in Brno last month and said it was a cockfest. So can you imagine what Prague is like.

As for the exotic stuff, Brazilians don't look like Romanians. Romanian women will have nice asses that you probably like, plus there seems more places to check out in the country.

Awhile back a guy came on here and asked a similar question, he chose Bucharest and we haven't heard from him since. Do a search and try and find his thread.

My ex ex was Czech, I toured the country a bit.

Totally agree. Could not have worded it better. Poosy sometimes makes men lose sight of the more important things in life.

If I were you I'd cut off Romania from the list right now, it's not where you want to go to med school.

Can i ask why Czech Republic? do you speak czech? From what i understand that in almost all Europe (but Neetherlands, Spain, UK) , education is free or almost free even for non EU residents. In Germany it's about 300 euros per year, in Portugal and Czech Republic is about 1000. I have seen education programs in english, but those are expensive and i don't think those are so good either.

Apart from that think a degree in a prosperous european country would be much more useful than a brazilian degree, and you can even try to stay there and try to get regularization after graduation if you want. That said, Brazil is a booming country while europe is in decay, if you met the right people in Brazil it can be a lot more safer for your future.

In Spain, nationals with average incomes pay between 600-2500 euro a year for a med degree in a public uni. The cheapest area is the south, in Andalucia studying a degree cost next to nothing (they've had a socialist local government for over 20 years).

Teaching is done in Spanish, which would be very easy for you to learn since you already speak Portuguese. I don't know what the situation is for foreigners, specially non-EU nationals but it might be worth the shot. Spanish unis are definitely better than Romanian.
