You've got the right idea here, and I say this with a
lot of personal experience doing this myself.
There's a reason almost all of the guys on this forum take girls out on drink dates, whether it's a bar, lounge, club etc.
Regardless of whether or not you drink with the girl, night-time dates at alcoholic venues make it much easier to get close with a girl, build attraction, and ultimately fuck.
I still do the occasional coffee date, park date, museum tour etc., as they are useful for building comfort and sometimes you just don't have time to meet a girl a certain night...but drink dates should be a
staple in any player's routine, simply for the reason that they're effective in allowing us to attain what we want: sex (and maybe a mini or lengthy relationship depending on how much you like the chick)
So this is what I do when I chill with girls in different drinking settings:
1. The Bar date
I meet them at the venue I've chosen and ask them what they're drinking. I order them a drink and a soda with lime for myself. I do
not try to hide the fact that I am not drinking, and when they ask me (about 75% of my dates do) why I'm not drinking, I am honest with them. I tell them I used to have a lot of trouble controlling my alcohol intake, and once I start, it's hard for me to stop. I also add that back in my drinking days, I had trouble controlling my temper when I was drunk, which sometimes resulted in violence...this is all true, while I generally keep most of the details mysterious, if they really pry, I might tell them that I was arrested after a very violent altercation which began with me getting plastered (which is true).
Note: I notice that when I subtly hint at getting angry and violent after drinking, girls tend to be slightly aroused rather than turned off. Perhaps it's because I'm tall, skinny, and have a pretty calm demeanor, so they do not expect me to have a temper or engage in altercations.
2. Inviting a girl straight to my crib for drinks
This might happen less often in the normal world, but because I'm in college, I get chicks straight from the street to my crib for drinks usually once a week. Generally this involves walking around campus on weekend nights, running some direct street game, and inviting her back to my dorm for a drink. In this case, I
do hide the fact that I do not drink, simply because it's ridiculously easy to do so...and when I'm meeting girls on the street and bringing them straight back, it's usually just for sex, so I don't mind being dishonest and 'tricking' them. In my mini-fridge I stock a bottle of Ciroc Vodka for my girl - this bottle of Ciroc is actually filled with Rubinoff vodka, the cheapest and lowest quality shit around. I'll also have a bottle of Smirnoff filled with water, for myself. I'll whip 'em both out and give her that 'high quality mixed drink' while I pour myself Smirnoff (water), which I mix with seltzer and pre-cut limes.
We cheers, and escalation occurs as normal.
Bottom Line: Drinking dates will continue to work, whether you have a glass of whisky in your hand, or a glass of seltzer.
