Talking to some chick recently about TV series and the golden age of TV, and the sons of Anarchy came up.

Here's what she said about one of the main characters

You ever met a dude that said a chick was TOO pretty? At best a dude might say, she's too pretty for porn, but it's not going to turn him off.

She explained that this guy was too pretty to play a rough and tumble biker, thus his facial attractiveness was offset by his character - making him generally unattractive. (and she knew how crazy the shit sounded was when she said it, yet everyone woman in the discussion understood what she was talking about)

This might be one girl in particular from my life, but query your memory banks and ask yourself how often you hear some bullshit analysis like this.

It's a clue though.

It's the same way that bitches feel about Leonardo DiCaprio in the early years, his beautiful baby face made him unattractive in many of the roles he was in.

By your logic, if you want to please women, you now have to fit the way your face looks to your clothing, job, and environment.

Because that's what they do. Whatever they do for themselves, what they value, is what they think you value.

When she's wearing her sweats and going to 7-11 for some gatorade - in her mind she's unattractive, therefore she's caught off guard by a guy approaching her. Better yet, she thinks a guy who finds her attractive when she is at her worse, is less of a guy for being attracted to unattractive women. (tell me this hasn't happened to you, or you haven't seen this go down!)

Shoot me if I ever start doing shit for women. Losing this gut, raising my income by at least 1 order of magnitude, going location independent - that shits for ME.

- make more money, make money in a better way
- free up more time

But at a deeper level, game is about becoming the best person you can be - and the metric we use is a proxy, # of women, and quality of women - but you step back and look @ the advice we tell ourselves - and then look @ the objective reality of whether those are women getting silver bullets - and you'll stop eating brown rice and boneless skinless chicken breasts in a nano-second once you understand that you don't need to be < 10% body fat to bang a hottie.

Indeed, the metric is flawed.

You meet a dude with a crazy notch count, and you may not be impressed.

You meet a dude with super hot girlfriend, and even that might not impress you. (especially if you hear about how fucked up she is, and what he has to put up with to keep her in his life)

Game is a device for us to express ourselves. And for me, that's the true purpose. And going deeper, taking the red pill, seeing how the deck is stacked against us - it can make you depressed - but it can also make you impressed as you realize how much you're able to accomplish even when everyone is trying to shoot you down.

Back to game..

A bitch don't need to put on lingerie in order for me to want to fuck her, the lingerie is for her to feel sexy.

Game is our lingerie. It's what we use, what we put on, what we do in order to tap into that natural and normal part of ourselves that our society and every society tries to keep in check.

All this stuff we do, it comes back to how we feel about ourselves, and how comfortable we feel in expressing our natural selves.

I'm not saying a Zen master can pull every bitch on the planet, what I am saying is that a dude that gets it, that understands himself, that has learned who he really is by pushing himself to become the person he wants to be - he can step to any broad on the planet in any situation and let that bitch know what's up.

Pull? No Pull? Doesn't particularly matter for specific cases, because he already has what he needs to deal with the aggregate. Bitches come and go, even 10's.

What becomes important is the man underneath it all.

By all means, tinker with your opener and transition, maybe get a voice coach or take some improv lessons, get a flat downtown.... Ultimately those things are tweaks to your game, mere tune-ups. The after market parts that make you faster, stronger, better.

Just recognize the engine that's driving the whole thing.
