I searched an didnt find any similar threads.

What are the best languages to learn for the sole purpose or traveling an smashing. Espanol is prally the best one i can think of an its one im learning now. You can use it in lots of places where gringos are sought after. Portuguese would be handy but its pretty much only spoken in Brazil right? What about for European places, do they speak the same Language in Romania as they do the Ukraine?

Im gonna focus on 2 Languages just for gaming, spanish is already one of them. Altho im going to be living in China for a few months im not tryin to learn that shit.

I guess things im looking for would be language that can be used in multiple places that a handsome youngish american can really do some damage.

In Romania they speak Romanian. In Ukraine, I believe in the eastern part Russian is widely spoken, whereas in the western part, it's Ukrainian. I think learning 2 languages at a time is probably too hard. I'd focus on Spanish, it's easier to learn than Russian, and useful in most of the world south of the US border in the Western Hemisphere. That's a lot of land with attractive women.

You're asking a question with many variations. Where do you want to travel? What ethnicity or nationality of women do you want to bang? These are pretty important questions to ask when considering learning a language for the sole purpose of shagging.

If you like Latina women, obviously you're going to want to learn Spanish and/or Portuguese. It all depends on where you're traveling to and who you want to fuck.

English will get you by in a lot of places that have become accustomed to travelers from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand.

I love Latin women thats why Espanol is my first option but i dont wanna limit myself to the only foreign women i know how to game in thier own language being Latin women. I like blondes an green eyed girls to an theres not alot of them in the Latin circle. I like Asian women to but im not learning any kind of Asian language, they are to similar to Latin women with dark hair an eyes an i preffer Latin.

I dont know i guess when i was thinking about this i was picturing like a top ten language chart something ha. People have to have opions on if they could speak 2 langues which ones they would be.... but i dont care about it for buisness im just in it for women

I'd say Spanish or Russian combined with English would give you access to the hottest girls worldwide. They're both pretty easy too once you're past the basics

4 most widely spoken languages;
English
Mandarin
Spanish
Russian

Since you said you love latin women it's really a no brainer to learn spanish. Spanish is a romance language and it is somewhat similar to French, Portuguese, Italian, and Romanian (although not usually mutually ineligible)

So maybe learning Spanish, then another romance language like french might be an option.

Russian and Mandarin are a lot more difficult to learn from english because they use a different alphabet, but either one would be useful in europe or china respectively.

Is education that poor in your part of the globe?
A simple google search would have saved your embarrassment.

My suggestion: being Spanish or Portuguese one language, the other must be Russian, since you love blonde women and everybody says ex-USSR countries are a poon paradise.
Other good options would be German or French. Both have advantages: German offers you more blondes, and French is used in several continents.

Edit: Pilgrim37 is right. A common stereotype about Americans is their lack of knowledge about other countries. I'm sure it's unfair and many Europeans have the same problem, but the prejudice is in people's heads, so if you confirm it you'll lose many opportunities with girls.

Statistically speaking, you could learn Mandarin and Hindi.
This way you can talk to almost half the women in the world.

You have to take into consideration your mother tongue.

English is in the latin and germanic family.
Chinese, russian, arabic and hindu are distant and require a steep learning curve

If english is your mother tongue I say go for french and spanish.

Best Languages to learn

It really depends what you want to do and where you want to go.
But I'd say best after English is:....
-Spanish.
-Basically, chinese is the most spoken but is limited to china. thats it. Most guys here don't want to game in China anyways. As far as America and the whole western side of the world is concernced Spanish is spoke pretty much everywhere but Canada, and the non south west border states.
-Spanish is spoken in both poor countries and rich countries over a wide geographical area
-But the reason why Spanish is the best language... It is near 100% phononetic. You can read a grammar book on Spanish like hola amigo and become fluent just by remembering the words. Can't do that with even french because of all the weird sounds like rien or words that require nasal usage. Sure you'll speak with a "gringo" accent but you'll be understood. Spanish is basically the gateway to the romance languages. As someone who went and tried to learn french first and is having a ball with how much easier spanish is. The fact of the matter that Spanish is so similar to Italian and Portuguese you are really just learning a dialect of a language that has multiple "languages"
-I've heard English is suppose to be a Germanic language, but when I look at a page of German/Dutch/Norwegian, and look at a page of spanish, despite being fluent in neither, its not even close, you see spanish just has more cognates (words that look similar in both languages with the same meaning). The words in other germanic languages have more abstract cognates as in Flugzeug = air plane; in spanish it is aeroplano.
-The next best languages to me are in no particular order
-Russian
-Arabic
-German
-swahili
-any other regional language spoken over several countries you may have an interest in.

The next best languages are one state languages spoken by a large country.
-Turkish, Farsi, Amharaic,
Followed by languages like the nordic ones.

I would say after English, Spanish especially if you're into game. Learning Spanish allows you converse with most of central and south america. I learned Spanish from Pimsleur which I highly recommend. I got through the first course and part of the second, and on a trip to Costa Rica did fine understanding and talking to people.

German, Dutch and the Scandinavian languages are of little use. The locals in those countries speak excellent English. Better off learning a language which you would actually need to use if you visited that country.

Im learning spanish for the next two semesters then ill learn french for two semesters. French seems kind of useless and impractical here in Texas. However, my last name i. s french and Id like to play up that angle.

Ideally I would want to learn a third foreign language. Anyone here know more than five languages?

Spanish probably has the highest ROI due to ease of learning, number of countries that use it, and giving you a jump-start if you want to learn another romance language. It entirely depends on where you want to go though--knowing Spanish is pretty useless in a place like EE or Asia.

Yeah i think its all about what countries you are looking to visit, dont learn a new language just for the sake of it.

I am looking to learn french asap, i need to hit france, some french caribbean islands (specially martinique) and maybe ivory coast to tap these french speaking chicks...and when comes to these french speaking girls you really need to know their language, because they will hardly speak any english.

I say you should learn a language of a culture you are personally interested in. I am into French culture (philosophy, wine...) and French girls (amazing...) and I'd consider that as a language for me to try in the following years. Spanish second to that, and I studied a bit of German already, but realised that I wasn't really into Germanic culture (and girls) for that. But I can have light, basic conversation on it.

I am amazed at seeing how many people are learning Portuguese nowadays. I' ve been living the last 5 months in a very international environment (Hawaii) and met people from all over. There are many people from Latin countries (native spanish speakers) learning Portuguese, and I ran into a few Americans (and a Norweigian and 2 cute Japanese girls) that spoke Portuguese as well.

For some reason (economical, cultural) it seems that Spanish-speaking Latin cultures are opening up for Portuguese, which I find amazingly cool.

Portuguese is the first language of Portugal, Brazil, and quite a few African countries (Mozambique, Angola, Cape Verde, Guiné-Bissau and Tomé e Príncipe) and a few recognized speakers in Goa, Índia, East Timor and Macau, China.

And I'd say that Portuguese is quite close to Spanish and Italian, especially. I can certainly communicate with Spanish speakers, but I think I have an easier time understanding them than the other way round. I've been to Italy, and although I couldn't talk with them, reading was quite facilitated. French would be a bit tough, but I'd say it would be much easier for me to learn than a native English speaker.

Romanian, for some reason, seems to be within the same language group (Romance languages), but I've never heard any of it to look for similarities

Brazil has a huge population, and large amount of dope cities. It's worth it to learn Portuguese, if you already know Spanish it will be a piece of cake.

Cr33pin, unless you're seriously into German culture or want to live there permanently I don't see why you'd learn German. They speak English so well it's redundant. France however, is a country where you'd want to know the language. Germany? Nahh.

It is not worth it to learn french, take my advice. Learn spanish or Portuguese. Unless your into black girls from Africa or the carribean as virtually all young french are speaking or learning english. French is a very regional language. It is spoken in France and Belgium and a few microstates and few islands in the carribean and west and central africa.. but it will soon fall out of favour in everywhere but europe. Swahili is quickly taking over french as the african lingua franca. The french carribean islands are under pressure to learn english for obvious reasons. If french was not the official language of Canada alongside English it'd only be marginally more useful than dutch (aruba). When I traveled throughout France I had several immigrants complain to me, I should have learned English first, Why?, because all french speak English.
As far as European languages go, your better off with Spanish, Russian, and Portugese, probably in depending on what you like. Basically Spanish will make Portugese a breeze to learn from what I hear, and you can travel from Spain, andorra, portugal, brazil, argentina, mexico, etc. Russia gives you former soviet union +russia. Even which Spanish allows you to go through Italy easily. So its just the best. The next best would be German or Nordic because it gives you the ability to travel severeal european countries
