The name of that bar off whyte is MKT, I think it used to be called Iron Horse. It is exactly like Craft in Calgary. Over 120 different kinds of draft beer. Really good food as well.

I was in Edmonton just for a day last week. I was able to get a bike and rode all over the place. Edmontonians seem mostly friendly, but the women are mostly not good looking. Even a guy who I struck up a conversation with there said the same thing. The women will talk to you at least but there mind seems to be else where - hard to connect with I thought. They do seem to have a bit of a small town mentality than the big city one. There is also a strong feminist presence there. In fact there is an active Edmonton Men's Rights group here that is leading a head on challenge to feminists there. Google their website and see for yourself. There is a bitter struggle going on there especially between feminists and MRAs.

I liked visiting there and may go again -- Edmonton guys are pretty laid back and easy going I thought. But women there -- not so impressed. But I was only there for one day.

One day looking and you also asked one guy. Cool.

I've been here nearly a year and there is plenty of talent around the place.

Lots of mixed race girls from Europe, Asia and South America as well as french girls from the east coast. I've met cute girls from every corner of the globe.

Who cares. Let them fight it out. You are only going to notice what you are focusing on.

In the meantime seperate yourself from the rig pigs and the hipsters and its easy to swoop some girls.

I really don't see the point of travelling to Edmonton. If you want to go to a place with pretty, mostly white, super-friendly Canadian women, then the place to go is Eastern Canada. Halifax is awesome. Not very big, but with a booming college/university scene.

It's the poorest part of Canada, making it good for similar reasons why Eastern Europe/Latin America is considered so good. I think the reason why some cities like Toronto are so screwed up have more to do with wealth than anything else.

Useful stuff. If I go to Edmonton for a game (big hockey fan), then this would be a good template to follow.
