Also I might be too young to say this but I remember before tinder came out, the idea of using a dating app was reserved for sexual degenerates and pariahs or undateable people.

Tinder was the first app that gave that feel of not being a loser on a dating site, that's why a lot of normal attractive women started using it.

Although I admit tinder's "golden age" has already passed it is still light years ahead of the dumpster that is POF.

Maybe in the future another competitor will come along and claim the crown, for now you can try other alternatives like Bumble, Hinge, etc.

Facebook now has a dating portion inside the fb mobile app, I suspect it could be a good opportunity when it comes out. (So far it's only out in a few countries).

If op claims to be a "hard 8.5" I find it astonishing how he wants to move to POF, I see nothing but bots and broads I wouldn't fuck with another man's dick on it, not to mention the site is absolutely awful and rage inducing to use. And I don't know about you guys but I prefer when a site/app has a "match" function instead of just writing to them, it saves a lot of time for us and it scares women away when they get their inbox full of ugly thirsty guys.

Not really true. Online dating had already lost most of its stigma before Tinder became big. Tinder just moved things into overdrive. Let's face it. Just about anything that used to require physical presence is moving online. Nothing's really sacred anymore and so people these days generally don't have a problem using dating apps/sites nor judge those who use them. It's more about juding you based on which apps/sites you use instead (hence the POF thread).
