That's the ideal setting. Cougars will work twice as hard to compete against younger girls in a bar. I've had them come up and try to stick their tongue in my ear within 5 minutes. Or throat.

I checked out a few places. Barcelona in New Haven and West Hartford were pretty good. They go in groups there and sit at the bar. Easy pickings when it's like that.

Martel's (somewhere near the Fairfield area) is pretty solid too. I might have been the youngest person there and was flanked by cougars on the prowl. Saturday evenings in the summer are prime for this place.

Max's Oyster Bar in West Hartford/Farmington was also a good spot. That whole row of bars in that area (I think it's called Westfarms) is a good mix of young and old. Max's is the older crowd, but the rest of those bars are loaded with college girls. I don't remember the name of most of the places there, but there was some pretty fantastic prospects there. I had some great times with pickups in that area after finishing grad school.

Any newer info on Stratford, Bridgeport, Milford and Norwalk? I haven't been in a while. Trumbull is my goto place during hurricane season and I have a feeling that I will be making a trip this year.

I tried to stay away from Bridgeport and Stratford. I lived in New Haven while I was in school and explored mainly there and in Farmington/W. Hartford.

The only times I went to Milford were for the whole foods and the mall there. The mall was pretty low class and you could tell from the kind of people that went there. The best spots for picking up in the mall were probably Target or H&M (2 of the biggest stores in that mall). Even though the mall was huge it still didn't fill up very well. The movie theater would probably be the other place to pick up. I realize this goes off the topic of cougars all together, but the places I went to mingle with cougars were in Fairfield County. You find all the divorcees that drive BMW's and Mercedes in the classy restaurants at those places. Catching them on a ladies night was pretty good because they were totally open to being opened. When I was doing my thing there, I was posted solo at the bar and talked to who ever sat down next to me. Of all the places to go to, I would say Barcelona in Fairfield County is a slam dunk for cougars. So is the one in West Farms. New Haven you're more likely to find students.
