Look this up.... sneaky leaker .... made in NOLA especially for parades and MG. Great device, pissing will never interupt your game again.

This is brilliant.

Seems like it’s raining all weekend. Will that affect anything hugely? Will a lot of people still be out?

Mardi Gras 2018 (New Orleans)

Hey guys. Down in NOLA currently. Have an Airbnb in the lower garden district with 3 other dudes. Anyone have any recommendations for bars around here? And more spefically frenchman street?? Went to bourbon last night for the experience but as expected very crowded, HUGE sausage fest and overall very low quality girls. We all agree that Frenchman will probably be more our speed so just looking for some recommendations for bars there

I liked The Maison. Great music and vibe and they had classier girls there.

Venues get crowded early.

On Bourbon Street, best is Pat O Briens in the Garden. Its gonna be too nuts around this time.

Cool thanks! Maybe we’ll check out Maison tonight. And yeah I’ve heard about pat Obrien’s but I don’t know how much more if any of bourbon street I can tolerate. Have barely even seen any girls flashing titties

Yeah we were right near there not long before it happened. So far Mardi Gras is pretty much what I expected and really not impressed overall. Maybe if I was 18-22 it would be a diff story but I’m 32 and it’s just a bit trashy and too crowded for my taste. For a short party/rage trip I’d much rather Montreal or even Vegas. Pretty sketchy here too. Although definitely enjoying the food so far

I’ve gotten similar intel by a couple friends. Not specifically Mardi Gras, but New Orleans, in general. They said that the French Quarter is fairly ghetto and trashy. Looks like NOLA still hasn’t fully recovered from Katrina.

Go during the daytime, its much more tolerable. You can barely walk at night because its so crowded. Your sweet spot for titties is before 8pm. I honestly got sick of it after a while. This was over 10 years ago though, so maybe girls are less apt to do this with smart phones/social media/etc.

If you are there on Fat Tuesday, make sure you go into a club/venue before 11pm (or 10:30pm even) and stay there. Lines get nuts. After midnight they shut the streets down and clear them out and you can't get in anywhere. When I was there, I was in a club and the girls started eating each other out on stage and stripping everywhere. They had a spring break type of guy, forgot the venue though, but it was semi-enclosed with a stage.

I did Mardi Gras in my early 20s and it was great. I don't think I could do it again. Its trashy and crowded. Even the rest of the year, New Orleans is a bit ghetto, but you can still have a great time. Definitely not high end, but you can hook up with some quality out of towners letting loose.

I would go during Jazz Fest or earlier in Mardi Gras (I'd like to go again during peak Crawfish season, they are awesome).

@Drazen. Yeah we’re here Fat Tuesday and yeah I know you have to get in somewhere early thanks. Hahahaha that’s great. A little public munching is never a bad thing. Went out on frenchmen again last night and bourbon a little bit but literally all I wanna do when I’m out bourbon is get the fuck out of there. I can’t tolerate it. Frenchmen is a lot more bearable. We hopped around to a few places and pretty much finished the night at the Maison which I liked but still I have not been to a single place here that has even a somewhat decent girl/guy ratio. I would say the average is 2/3 guys per every girl if not worse. And on top of that the quality is very poor in general although definitely saw a lot more girls last night that made me look more than once. Besides most places are so crowded you can’t move or get to the bar and I do not operate well whatsoever in that kind of environment. I need a little space to operate. Which is another reason I liked Maison. It was crowded but plenty of room to move, get a drink etc. at probably around 1 or 2 I went up to the bar at Maison to order a drink and this cute little Latina was right next to me and almost instantly locked eyes and I just smiled and said something like “hey what’s up” and we started talking. She asked me if I wanted to do a shot which I of course did and then we talked some more and she introduced me to her friends (2 guys and 1 girl) and we danced and she grinded on my dick a bit and then not long after said she had to leave because her friends wanted to go somewhere else. I told her she didn’t have to go with her friends and she could just stay with me but she didn’t seem game for it and asked for my number which will probably amount to nothing but maybe I’ll get lucky. Kinda regret not being a little more aggressive in trying to get her to ditch her friends but I feel like my game is probably a bit rusty after days of being frustrated and annoyed with the crowds and lack of talent

Yeah, in this situation, I would suggest just getting as fucked up as you can, have a good time, be loud and aggressive and don't get mugged/killed (NOLA is dangerous). No ratios, just be a primal caveman. Hit up the streets behind Bourbon earlier in the day/night, they have girls dressing up in costumes, hit them up. My sweet spot was the SEC sorority girls, you have to find them at the right venues though. There was a weird southern vibe the last two nights, capitalize on that. Just start early early early is my recommendation to get the ratios good.

Oh yeah, another good time to go (when I went last) was the weekend of the Alabama/LSU football game if its at LSU. TONS of Alabama girls in town.

Also, in the Garden District, there were house parties we crashed which were good. Mostly around the Parade route, near what used to be Lee Circle. It may be a shot in the dark nowadays though, we just went into a few houses that seemed kind of fratty. Not much happened there, but they were fun.

Yeah I definitely don’t disagree with that especially for this type of environment but that is also another issue. I haven’t really been getting that fucked up because of how dangerous it seems and heard. I’ve had my guard pretty high most of the time which also makes it very hard for me to let loose. And I’ve been to plenty of 3rd world countries and grew up in NY so it’s not like I live under a rock but there are definitely a lot of real shady characters here. Yeah not sure if we’re gonna hit up bourbon tonight but I’m sure we’ll end up there tomorrow. Good advice though thanks. Awesome yeah I actually think it’s today that one of the parades comes right through the garden district where we’re staying so gonna try to capitalize on that for sure.
