No, it's literally not a problem with the coin. If my bank leaves the door unlocked at night and the safe open, that doesn't mean there's a problem with USD.
A lot of people downing on XRB for this don't have a lot of experience dealing with Z-tier exchanges. When you're a new coin that's not an ERC-20 with an ICO, crappy places like these are just where you have to start. They're shit, their owners don't speak English, and they have all kinds of awful issues.

@Graft: What do you mean by it causes problems for every exchange it launches on?
Bitgrail double deposits, lack of withdrawals.
Mecatox no withdrawals for weeks.
Kucoin double deposits and suspended withdrawals.
Did all three of these exchanges have problems at the same time???
Might be a buggy coin.
Didn't know about the Mercatox and Kucoin issues; will google that. That's indeed interesting and very strange.

So... is there any chance I can get my XRB back from Bitgrail or can I kiss those coins goodbye?

@Seth
I think at some point you will get 20% of your coins back, as the Bitgrail owner still had 20% of what he was supposed to have. Couldnt give you a timeline though, it could take a while.

Not sure what to make of the bitgrail mess. Luckily (or maybe not), I store my XRB/Nano in an offline wallet. I'm considering unloading XRB for ETH or BTC because the damage might be irreparable.
Are there still any pros for hodling XRB? It is the only coin that I'm considering selling in the short term, but I don't want to make any hasty moves.

Bought some of this. We'll see how it goes.
