I had reasonable success and I know other guys who had significant success in Toronto running hostel game.

Check into a dorm room at a hostel and build a social network. Due to it being pain in the ass to rent an apartment in Toronto, a lot of newcomers, especially hot girls from Central America or non-English speaking Europe will just stay at a hostel for months and months.

Make friends with a couple guys and find out which rooms the hot girls are staying in.

You can go with a story about how you work somewhere else in Ontario but are in town a lot.

When you are ready to start banging bitches, upgrade to a private room. Once you have a good roster, tell the girls that you've moved to Toronto permanently and invite them back to your "new" place.

Then rinse and repeat with a new hostel or just drop into the hostel you've already built a network at without paying and just hang out.

@Suits - This was my idea as well in the beginning, to stay at hostels the first few weeks. However, since I have a lot of luggage and need some quiet place to study I haven't chosen that option.
I opted for better logistics as well, so a downtown apartment for myself at first might just be perfect.

There is actually an outdoor pool at the apartment building I'm staying, so I thought that might be a good location to take a girl on warm late summer/early autumn days. Chill at the pool, build comfort kinda stuff...

I'm digging up the dead with this post but for Toronto I'll always be happy to trash it a little! Even the Maple Leafs players hate this city so much that they are now refusing to show salute to the fans after their home games!! I don't condone it, especially from people making millions of dollars, but I understand it.

All I know is that I was laughing my ass off when I saw it this morning on TSN I know they're not really great and are barely a playoff team ( my guess is that they won't make it), but they've been asking for the crowd to feed them energy during the home games, but it's been absent.

When they're doing good, it's silence, but when they're doing bad, then it's a chorus of boos and jersey tossing! I'm ok for fans to criticize when they're mad, but you've got to cheer when things are going good too.

So far only the bad gets a reaction and the players are sick of it and I'd be sick of it as well. Show love and hate, but for Toronto people to show love you might need to be on your death bed for it!! I like hating TO, but I'm sad to hate it! Such a nice city visually, but the emotionless people in it... sucks the life outta you... even from multi-millionaire hockey players!

The maple leafs are corporate period. It costs a ridiculous amount to go to a game. For decent seats a few hundred bucks..... The worst seats $50 ish... Plus transport to the game etc etc etc.... So the fans aren't the working class bunch that visited the old maple leaf gardens where I remember top seats went for $40 in the late 80s early 90s. Now 100x more you can have the same seat some 20 years later.... Average salaries haven't increased at the same rate, so who buys the seats,,,,, corporations..... A lot of true hockey fans cannot go, or choose not to. You have people with little knowledge going to these games and how can the team respect the fans if they have no clue.....

The Leafs are a scam. I read that season ticket holders only go to a average of 5 homes games per year. Leafs have the highest ticket prices relative to their performance in professional sports. Massive fucking scam only made by clueless obsession which keeps ticket demand artificially high.

They hold onto those seats with a iron grip and never go to the games. They simply just sell them for double the amount to desperate people with to much money and no sense. I have worked enough leaf games for our catering company and the vibe is always stiff and dead, versus Raptors games which are more fun and have way more women crawling around. I would never go to either to game though. Why pay $80-120 for tickets and one beer, unless you have plans and legit want to see the action then never make that a focal point in going.

Just came back from The Ballroom tonight in Toronto. My wing and approached about 10 sets a pieces. Got blown out every single time. And after reading this thread it confirms everything that has been said. I've lived in Toronto all of my life. And I seriously want to leave. Can't stand the women in Toronto.

The biggest problem is this weather. Tonight forecast is saying -40. I can't recall one warm sunny day for 3 full months. This is the problem.

I take plenty vitamin D, my nutrition isn't too bad, I've been exercising plenty, and I still manage the odd night out. Despite this, winter blues has hit me. I'm not depressed by any means, that would be hard to happen with me, but lately I have not had a spring in my step so to speak.

Girls are also affected too. They stay in and don't come out. They aren't as bubbly. Flakes are higher, because hell, who wants to face the consistent -20 weather? I'm also less motivated to go out to meet them.

Spring cannot come soon enough.

Unfortunately spring is supposed to come late this year just like last year. The artic air keeps just keeps hitting us. At least I spent a large chunk of December and January in Asia so I'm not getting hit by seasonal depression that badly.

Tonight is Valentine's night. I would be out but the -35 to -40 C wind chills are absolutely insane. I was out last night when it was a slight bit warmer and my buddy got laid(ironically from a pull from street game). It's not impossible to get laid here in the winter, but it's definitely a huge challenge and a battle against the elements.

I agree. This weather sucks balls. I've realized there are few places worse in the winter then Toronto. I grew up in parts of Canada which at least 3 days in the winter were the coldest places on earth. I'm talking -55 type shit where literally your face freezes when you step outside. It's not as bad there because even on a cold night people just shake it off and try to make the most of it.

Here in Toronto though the cold literally sucks the soul out of the whole city. This is not a true Canadian city where people just suck it up. Toronto has a point where it just shacks up and people get grumpy. So much going on this weekend and I have no desire to go out. Because to me being cold and uncomfy to go game cunty broads is to much. If it was warn out at least the weather would make up for it as I like being outside when it's nice. Not this weather though, not worth it.

Toronto is great two/three months out of the year. July, August, September this place is great. Evrey other month is dumpy cold rain, or this boner killing cold.

I concur with Kosko's statement about Toronto. People complain so much in Toronto about the cold as if it's a surprise when the truth is, it's probably the second warmest city in Canada. Go to Alberta, Quebec, Manitoba and then chat about fcukin cold. When I went to Manitoba and came back to Toronto, I felt like I was entering the tropics that's how cold Manitoba was. I'm not sure where the women hide out during the cold. They either burry their face in the books and get acne and soft, or they shake up with random BFs for Xmas and V-Day and just watch Netflix.

But can't you blame Toronto women, per-se, as they have a buffet of options. They can find whatever they need (attention, dick, meals via dates, etc) all very easily.
