I fit the profile of the guy who you write show have a lot of girls. I just left Addis Ababa two days ago after being there for almost three weeks. I am Obama's complexion with a similar background, my mother is Swedish and father is AA. I also speak a bit of Amharic. Regular guy a bit fit not much, not tall 5'7, dress very regular (aka boring) Mao tracksuit type lol, scruffy face look.

I didn't get any girls at all as far as getting laid goes. I did get a lot of phone numbers though but it never went anywhere after that. No locals hated on me as far as I know or noticed. Anyway, I thought I would write a bit here. Overall, your data sheet is very well written but you see things from a different angle since you are local. You advised against following NN's guide. I travel a lot and previously only have one post before this one inquiring about the best place for people like myself. Your guide claims that Addis Ababa is one such place. I think NN's guide is more accurate.

I feel that local women will initially be more open to AAs just because we look more like them than other foreigners. But this does NOT equate to getting laid at all. I think that is a huge error in your write up. But I can understand why you would think that way. The decision to sleep with a guy is much more involved than that. Basically, it's the same as other places, you need to look good, smell good, and have some money. Maybe not as much as back home, but you still need to have some and you're going to have to spend it to get with the baddest girls here.

Other points I'd like to make are your recommendations for hunting grounds are inferior IMHO to NN's recommendations. Again, I totally understand your rationale but it's just not accurate for tourists who plan on getting laid by hot local girls. I've been to both of you and NN's top recommended spots. Club A/V is a nice club no doubt about that but I was surprised at the quality of girls there in contrast with NN's top spot, the well known prostitute club, club Memo. Yes, they are working girls but when NN said the quality runs high, he was NOT lying. I only went there twice but the second time I went there I saw a very attractive girl who looked like she didn't even belong there except for her eyes. But she was classy, had soft skin, could dance, and smelled wonderful. Quoted me $150 usd, I was like No Way! But she was nice though.

Also, the crowd at A/V club is ok but it's much more fun at Memo club even though the DJ is absolutely crap! Memo is full of Chinese and Indian guys looking to pick up a working girl but they dance with emotion and without a care in the world. The working girls too! They have fun and aren't pushy at all, I'm kinda glad I had to pay to enter because otherwise I would have immediately left when I saw all the prostitutes. I'm so glad I gave it a chance, I had a lot of fun. Much more fun than A/V club. I just don't agree with NN advice to shore the girls. These girls are poor, 200 birr is nothing to any of us who can afford a trip to Ethiopia, period. Even if you don't pay them in a transactional manner, still give the equal amount as a tip or for taxi money or for food or whatever. They need the money, I'm sure. I just will never be able to understand how rich kids like NN and others can be so cheap, I also come from a comfortable upbringing but I was never taught that type of behavior. I know what they are there for and if I choose to take them then I pay. Like I said, I didn't get laid at all because it just didn't happen, I didn't feel it.

Also, I don't know if I can agree with the advice to only go with English speaking girls. They are some of the most annoying girls ever, guys too tbh. To me it seems this is because they are so eager to show off their English skills that they don't know how to shut the $*%# up. I avoid them at all costs. But you are correct that some can and will hook you up (in a little brother type of fashion). Perhaps other extroverted metro males will find these types pleasant. But most males I socialize with aren't very talkative, especially with people they aren't extremely close to.

Also, the baddest girls aren't found at either of the places both of you mentioned. They are found walking out and about at normal hours. They don't go out because they don't have to and are busy taking care of business whether it be school or work. I've gotten some numbers of these very fine girls but it takes time and more fluency in the language than I have. Not necessarily a ton of dough though is needed.

I would advise guys to learn the local lingo. Amharic isn't super difficult and it will open a lot of doors for you. As always, if you do well at home, you will do well here or wherever you happen to be. But on the whole, I'd say go with NN's guide and hit up club Memo and the other places he mentioned.

Where did you learn Amharic?

All I found before going there were some very basic audio courses which I didn't buy. I used some Youtube movies to learn some phrases, but it would be a lot better to have a real textbook with basic grammar and vocabulary.

I appreciate the positive comments and glad you had fun, but just to clarify, I don't p4p because I'm cheap, it's out of principal. Every man must have a code, and that's part of mine.

I don't judge guys who pay, but that's just not me. I get off on women feeling horny and wanting me. Money ruins that. I don't mind paying for a few pints, but handing over cold hard cash for sex is something I simply can't do. Every fiber of my being just rejects it. I know some of these girls are poor, but I make it clear to the girls I'm not a customer, and they are free to make a decision.

Ethiopian girls make for great long term relationships here in the west. I've had an LTR with three and am about to marry a unicorn Ethiopian girl later this year. You left out so many details. A group of farmers 'just' starting throwing huge rocks. You didn't build up the reason to that. This can happen in any country, even Switzerland.
