Do eyes have a special power?

Do eyes have a special power?

Wondering what your experiences with mesmerizing eyes have been. I've often found myself stunned, like a deer in the headlights, when a girl with pretty eyes looks me in the eye, especially when she exhibits a playful smirk or big, soft Disney eyes.

Thinking back over the years (decades, actually), I remember vividly at least two dozen girls who made time stop when I gazed unto their eyes. These are not normal memories of women I fancied; rather, these memories are burned into my mind.

Anyone with me on this? Thoughts?

Do eyes have a special power?

I'm reminded of an instance in an Oslo nightclub when a drunk and overweight blonde collapsed next to me and leaned into me. My first impulse was to recoil from her plump self, but then she looked up at me and I saw these bright blue eyes, encircled by beautiful dark limbal rings, and long, dark lashes.

Next thing you know, I touch my forehead to hers and hear myself saying "Du er veldig søt..." (you're really cute) and meaning it.

Had her friends not started laughing at my shitty Norwegian, I'd have gone for the kiss.

Pretty eyes are my fu*king Kryptonite.

I could care less about eyes. I never understand when people say someone has beautiful eyes.

People tell me this all the time. Even when I had surfers eye people said so.

When you say someone has nice eyes what exactly are you referring to?

The corneas and retinas? The whole eye area of the face? I don't get it.

Depends on how many traumatic events you've experienced.

For some guys, yes. I don't go wild over nice eyes, some guys do. I don't want a girl to have shitty beady eyes though.

Probably more important from the male perspective that your eyes are visible to girls. Girls care about that shit. So if you wear glasses, get non-reflective coatings. It's worth it.

Beautiful, warm, smiling eyes are certainly a bonus on a woman. I know this Lithuanian girl with beautiful sliver/grey/blue eyes with dark hair and a tan. Just a stunner. Doesn't hurt he laughs and smiles all the time, adding to the feminine warmth.

The eyes tell you if she has the "1,000 cock stare".

I once met a woman with natural violet eyes. They were a very deep purple. She was around 70 years old, but she must have been a stunner back in the day.

For me, when girls say that you have beautiful eyes they are not really referring to your eyes per se, but your gaze and how it penetrates hers.

Her eyes probably weren't like that in her youth. As you age, you lose pigmentation and melanin production in your pupils which alters/influences your eye color.

That's why you see even a lot of black people when they get older will have weird colored eyes (not glaucoma).

My grandfather, a dark skinned West African man, before he passed away had blue eyes. My dad is under 60 and he has blue eyes and he's blacker than Wesley Snipes. Though my dad's case is different he's always had a ring of blue around his brown eyes that seemed to grow in size with age. Even when I was a kid my sister pointed out he had a blue ring around his brown pupils. Also apparently something to do with cholesterol or liver function can make it fluctuate and my dad has had those issues.

As for eyes they do have some power of attraction. My best friend growing up had green/hazel/gray eyes. Shit the motherfuckers seem to change all the time but I've never in my life witnessed a man who so magnetically attracted high quality women. I'm talking this guy would have 8s and 9s swooning over him and his eyes without him saying a word. Waitresses, bartenders, girls at school, I've literally never seen anything like it.

Also for black women, they love light eyes. If you're a black or mixed guy with any eye color other than dark brown you can pretty much bang most black women if you have even an ounce of game.

I need to get back on my spinach/blueberry shake every day diet cuz my eyes are usually so dark brown they're black but when I was dieting hard eating chicken and vegetables every week and drinking spinach/berry shakes every single night, after a few weeks I swear my eyes got lighter. I'm black as Akon and my eyes are as black as the text on this screen but when I was on that diet I think my eyes got lighter. My roommates girlfriend asked me if I was wearing color contacts one day and I don't even wear contacts. I checked the mirror and my eyes were brown. I'm used to them being basically black. It was weird but I probably looked sexier.

Wow, some spectrum of answers!

It seems that each man's answer is a personal take on the issues based on his preference and experience.

It's a lesson on not assuming that what does it for me does the same for others.

Eye contact can be incredible for communication.

The next time you're out with a girl on a date, especially if she has the mesmerizing eyes going for her, try thinking "I want to have sex with you" while looking her right in the eye during conversation. Don't *say* it; keep the conversation light and fun and witty. But *think* it. You might be surprised at her response.

I had a girlfriend who would give me this one specific look when she was feeling horny. Nothing overt, but I quickly learned it meant "I want you to fuck me right now". And I gladly complied.

Someone's eyes can also provide helpful tells. Eyes going up and to the left: trying to remember something. Eyes going up and to the right: trying to make something up. Helpful when you suspect something might be up with your woman and you ask her a question in person -- her eyes can give her away.

I know I have a huge weakness for girls with green eyes. Even if she's incredibly average otherwise (no fatties), if she has green eyes, I'll make some sort of move. Think Felicity Jones, from Rogue One. That color.

And it does make sense. Eye contact is huge in all social interaction. I don't even know how to describe it. It's a lizard brain thing.

Think about it. If you're not legit autistic (spending your formative years in front of a computer doesn't count) you can tell when people are looking at you. It sets off some instinctive parts of the brain. Keep it in mind next time you're talking to some girl.

And yeah, if you're a darker skinned dude and have blue eyes, girls will go crazy about it. I have no experience in the area but I know a couple of black and Latino guys who have blue eyes and say that, and I believe them.

Yes, from my experience. I saw a girl on the Brussels metro once who was relatively attractive, I'd say 7/10. But when we made eye contact...holy shit. I felt like I had melted. I wanted to talk to her but of course my stop was right then and I was already running late.

Sl1ce we are definitely on the same page!

This has been a useful discussion. I used to assume all men felt this way; apparent that's not the case. Frankly, I see it as a good thing. If only some of us are talking to girls about their eyes, only we get to capitalize on their interest.

In fact, just for fun, I'm going to start bringing up pretty eyes with girls I meet, just to see (heh) what happens. I can think of three I know, right now, whose eyes have made a connection with mine, but I didn't mention it because I thought it was chodey.

I know this look. Reminds me of the summer of '95, when this one blonde I fancied, whose eyes were a nice pale blue, but otherwise unremarkable, went on a Mediterranean cruise. When she returned, her bronzed skin was darker than both her hair and her eyes, and I simply couldn't look at her without losing every thought I'd ever had.
