Odessa, Ukraine 2016 Datasheet

Great to have the odessa datasheet again on the top of the forum in this time of year.
I will be there about 20 th september, was there already 4 times, but unfortunately never longterm.
I LOVE that city despite all it sdownsides. The atmosphere, the sometimes mysterious attitude of the girls, the sleaziness sometimes, but there is so much warmth under the hard surface of that city.
Don t know the reasons but for me Odessa is holding some of my greatest successes in Ukraine.

Rocha, I'm quite impressed (no ass licking) by your knowledge about Russian and Ukrainian rock/rap/pop ect.
Maybe you should start a "Russian Music" thread in the Everything Else section? .....be sure I will participate, I'm personally a
huge fan, since long, of Russian rock/folk-rock and listen
Nashe Radio on a regular basis - well, in fact it's the only radio I listen to, with Jam FM (Ukrainian rock radio). I'm pretty sure Ligurian, ect will have some good added-value perspectives and videos to post also.

I'm thinking about hopping over to Ukraine pretty soon. I'm on the fence about Odessa vs Kiev still.
How would you say the beach scene in Odessa compares to Barcelona?

I have received strong evidence that Vronski is previously banned member Prosal. Bans are permanent, so Vronski has been banned.

I already mentioned it in the Ukraine thread. I'll be in Odessa for a couple of weeks from Aug 21. Staying near Arcadia. Will definitely check out the places mentioned in this datasheet.

I have been in Odessa 4/5 days and leave today.
First time I came here was 2008...and tended to return every other year.
Not sure if I am looking back with rose tinted specs, however, do feel each time I come I see more and more fatties here....anybody else concur?
I will caveat that by saying we are not talking fatties in Uk numbers or proportions. Plus..there are shedloads of damn fine women here...and I aint banging enough of them so this is not a criticism of Odessa just an observation.

One other thing. I know it from years visiting the FSU but always shocks me everytime the couple mismatch.
Fair play to them. But fairly ugly, fat...poorly dressed locals with model types on their arm.
My none FSU visiting buddies never believe me....but just shows how bad the Uk dating market is.

Final observation. Why are there so many rude people out there. Sat at a bar at Odessa airport and jesus the vast majority do not use please or thank you....talk to the bartender like shit.
What is wrong with people....

Not sure I agree about being rude yourself. If I want to be, and need to be, I can be the hardest faced cu** out there. However, not sure I want to be rude to normal people doing a normal job for no reason....irrespective if whether or not they are in a so called "lower status" job...

The day I visited, last week, I saw a small but noticable number of fatties in Lvov, and a token ugly shorthaired lesbo out of the closet type. I am talking only about dating age single women; I did not notice these abnormalities in Kiev, not yet at least. I sense the western rot encroaching.
The "only makes 200usd" a month factoid is misleading, things (besides luxuries) are ten times as cheap. The currencies can't be directly compared, nor can the true quality of life. The working class Ukrainian eats far better than the average American, for one thing.

Im just reporting what i have seen, in my tour of central and west Ukraine. I haven't personally seen the foul stuff, even with locals taking me to places without menu Anglissky, far from the tourist track. Ukraine is an agricultural country with high quality and cheap domestic produce.
My girl who works in a shop says she goes to Puzata Hata every day, and my local contact took me there, for a weekday lunch, and said it was for ordinary Ukrainians. They people inside looked like average families, young working chickadees, old people not dressed well and looking rather hard up, it was packed and did not at all seem like a luxury; luxury to the working classes would be like a traditional Taras Bulba like restaurant with wait staff in national costume, all wood building, musicians playing, etc. The atmosphere in those places is the improvement, the food quality is not much different.
Restaurants in general like to use oil, its a cheap way to cook and make things appealing to the average customer. I don't see any greater use of it, compared to USA.
My take is the Americans who eat better are the upper middle types who shop at whole foods and farmers markets and do not come close to constituting the average american's diet. If you are a higher-income American, you eat better than the average Ukrainian, but for the vast majority of Americans, they have GMO corn and soy, fast & frozen food nastiness. The typical Ukrainian guy simply has better food, hotter girlfriend, and superior culture to the typical American and his McDonald's/Walmart "Kultur".

I don't know how Ukrainian girls survive on what they eat, when you see them go to a restaurant they will often just have some watery soup with a meatball in it, and some bread.
I sometimes feel guilty when I go food shopping, people are looking at my food on the conveyer belt like wolves, a lot of people cannot afford any meat, and as I work out i'm ordering kilos of steaks etc.
