I can already barely remember any of it. Do these speechwriters not take writing classes in college? This shit is totally incoherent.

What a piece of garbage. She shits on cops while cynically telling them that she will defend them.

Now I understand why Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary. She knows he needed his endorsement badly and the only way he would endorse her would be if she adopted most of his progressive policies and ideas. This is what you're seeing now.
Bernie knew that by not endorsing Hillary and endorsing someone like Jill Stein then the vote splits giving the election to Trump. So in his eyes he was picking the "lesser of two evils" sort of speak and vomiting while he was at it.
But he got what he wanted which was his agenda on the democratic platform.

Oh I bet the media will be remembering how brave and stunning it was all week.

The kind of 'heh heh' laugh Hillary often inserts in her speech is cringe-worthy, and makes her sounds villainous.

She's gonna do a bump tonight. There's no way that this hag can get this much attention and not be desperate to keep the rush going.

Hillary barely talked about problems and policy. Trump spent a lot of time talking about this.
Let's me tell you the persuasion effect of that.
People will barely remember the generic non-policy stuff that Hillary talked about. And her terrible voice is disengaging. It has some emphasis, but the normal guy will zone out during most of her speech. Her snarky tone, her "heh heh' laugh, etc. all work against her in the end.
People will not remember most of the statistic and policy details Trump talked about either. But they remember the feeling they got from it. While he talked, his loud voice was engaging. It sounded like he's serious. It sounded like he cared. The statistics he gave made it sound like we're in serious trouble (especially if that's also what they feel in their daily life). His desire for a solution seemed genuine. The policy he talked made it sound like he knew his stuff.
So, even if people don't understand or remember the policy details, talking about policy details make you seem competent, and that general image of competence is what people will remember, what will influence their choice (so are the feeling that we are in serious trouble, that Trump is genuine, etc). So, contrary to what Scott Adams says, talking about policy details has its own persuasion power --though it does not help people choose between two boring conventional politicians, it helps improve the image of a candidate that has been casted as inexperienced. And Trump talked about it in a way that don't make people yawn, zone out or lose track.
Also, I bet that people remember the general direction of his platform, even if they don't remember its details. They're special enough, resonating enough with people's daily concern and worry, and are attached with iconic images.
Trump's speech will prove much more effective than that of his opponent.

Dnc using white-noise machines to drown out the bernie supporters and have given away their seats to seat fillers. The dnc is a mess.
this video is the main message from this convention - all rigged to the chore from day 1 of the primaries to the closing night speech.
