^ I would suggest you don't derail this thread with accusations against guys like Scorp or Lizard.

Furthermore, who is the say that guys on the forum didn't see NTP and wonder? Many guys have come to this thread and expressed their simmering skepticism.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

I swear to god in his male wall swimming thread I was the only one that expressed disbelief.

His Venezuelan information + pic is the one that has me baffled. He's been to Venezuela and seems to know a lot about it including inside information.

New theory: NTP = Nicolás Maduro

Has anyone met The Lizard of Oz or Scorpion? They are easily top ten posters. Then again they don't brag about their exploits and achievments.

I didn't even know who Scorpion was until today but his, AB, and Moma's posts along with Doc's reflect a maturity of dudes that know "life". Skeptical but reserving absolute judgement either way.

Wait, guys, what if NTP is actually Little Dark's more refined alter ego?

Nasa Test Pilot is the reciprocal of johnbozzz. He contributed tons without asking questions and it turned out to be copied bullshit whereas the Bozzzerooni did nothing but ask questions with minimal contributions but they did spawn some good conversation.

I don't believe in hiding behind PM's like NASA does.

In other words, you wanted a public trial. If you were just asking a polite question, what do you have to hide?

Quote:Quote:

What i ask, I ask publically and politely.
I did not demand anything.

While you're right that you didn't demand anything, you asked me to explain myself under the presumption of guilt. You wanted to put me on the defensive. It is not polite or respectful. Putting please in front of a question does not make it polite.

"Please sir, explain to me why you raped that woman?"

"Please help me out here, do you still beat your wife?"

Are not polite questions.

We are not women after all.

Your passive aggressiveness is exemplary, but obvious.

"In conflict theory, passive-aggressive behavior can resemble a behavior better described as catty, as it consists of deliberate, active, but carefully veiled hostile acts which are distinctively different in character from the non-assertive style of passive resistance."

Men do not hide from conflict and allow disrespect. However, Women are passive aggressive. Women presume guilt and make false allegations. You like to create drama and then act like a victim when called out on it. Sounds familiar.

It's very convenient for guys like NASA to claim he's "out to sea" every time he gets called out on his incredible stories and then comes back 10 days later with 3 page long word salad pm's that don't answer basic questions like what year and which location he was in China in the 1960s/1970s.

You've already been called out on this. NTP said he would be going dark for a while before the Buddhism thread was even created:

He also said he'd be in port for roughly 48 hours when he last returned.

I agree the copy/pasting of content without attribution deserves an explanation, but let's not rehash points that have already been addressed before.

No conclusive evidence yet. The guy has brought insight and value to the forum and opened people's eyes to shit we didn't even know existed.

He informed me about the 40A and 40C MOS in the Army. That's Space Operations and Army Astronaut. Yes you can become an Astronaut through the Army. Way easier to get into than getting an Aerospace Engineering degree at a top 10 Engineering school & going through the selection process for NASA and the likes.

I talked to 5 recruiters and none of 'em had even heard of the MOS. They had to call their superiors to confirm that shit even existed. Well, it does.
There's a chance that I might get into Space Operations now. Still a longshot but I'm working on it. That would not be possible without NTP.

I've copied and pasted his posts in the Geopolitics and Monetary thread into a Word Document. Excellent information all around and I don't care if he plagiarized some of it or brags about fucking girls on remote islands. Even plagiarizing the stuff he writes about requires time, effort and intelligence.

Some older members have talked about considering buying a sail boat because of him. He's brought and continues to bring value to the forum.

What value have you brought with to the table with 62 posts?

The person that NTP needs to make an apology to is oneeyedjack. He gifted ~$1500 ($21(?)x75 gold memberships), or something to that degree, to the forum directly as a result of advice received from NTP. Now if it turned out that this advice that was provided was simply available on Wikipedia, do you think that oneeyedjack would be too pleased? I do not think so. I agree with other posters that this member, NTP, is a liability, not asset to the forum and anything shy of a ban will not reflect too well on the credibility of this forum.

That is what makes many of us so confused over this whole thing. Apparently oneeyedjack offered to give NASA Test Pilot that money, but NTP refused it and asked oneeyedjack to pay it forward to the community. It is not congruent with someone who would be selfish. I think that's why many are giving him the benefit of the doubt that would not be extended to others under similar circumstances. Again, all we can do is wait until NTP provides a response, otherwise everything is just speculation.

One theory (highly speculative) I can put forward is that perhaps he felt too guilty accepting a large sum of money in exchange for work that he had passed on as his own, and he figured he was doing the right thing to pass it forward. I know that if someone were to offer me money for my contributions I would definitely accept and say thank you with a big smile.

I did not write that last part, which I took the liberty of putting in bold. That part that was added is not something I agree with, as I've stated before that much of the content does look to be copy/pasted verbatim. How did that get in there? Is it something you meant to say? Did you put it in there?

What I wrote in that post:

Oh that's my fault, I meant to add that to my paragraph when I was editing, so my paragraph should have read:

Maybe it was mentioned but his hang gliding thread had a good chunk which was straight out of Wikipedia as well. I hadn't read any of these posts before, but did read a lot of good ones from him that weren't c+p, according to Google. The essays thread, in particular "time" and "fear", couple on currency and monetary policy, and of course all the ones about the dream (fantasy?) that I could be 50+ and pulling hot 18yos onto my yacht someday. Looking back at the essays thread now it pops out that he's probably known about red pill for a while and is not new to the "man-o-sphere" as he once said.

Questionable Buddhism and ultra-marathon swimming, and confirmed plagiarism vs Tony Robbins level inspiration. So torn.

I gave you some great advice. Did you take it?

Claims of training harder than the greatest swimmer ever (not even including his claimed non-swimming regimen) are clearly lies.

I'm glad you liked his posts. People also liked gmanifestos posts. After all, gmanifesto wrote interesting, entertaining, and actionable posts.

...Which is a good mindset to have.

As I said in my Appreciation Thread: take what is useful from my posts, and discard the rest. I'm constantly-testing and refining my theories on everything and I tend towards examples from my personal experience, not to baller troll, but to clarify and illustrate thought. I'm very uncomfortable with the thought of being Hero Worshipped, which is why Sharkie messaged me saying "I knew you'd be hating this", soon after that thread started.

I'm uninterested in creating a Cult of Personality around me because I believe its in a man's best interest to become his own hero.

As such, if my examples sound spurious to a casual reader, well I can't do much about that. Opportunities simply come my way because I never stop to think what I can't do because even failure adds knowledge, hence my contempt for that Cassie Jaye Kickstarter with what I see as a huge waste of potential for a person to expand her talents by simply thinking throwing as much money as possible at something guarantee a better product instead of necessity making her discover talents she mightn't know she possesses.

I showed some examples of the results having this mindset produces to Quintus yesterday. Try everything.

That being said, I'm a shit Carpenter. You ever see that episode of the Simpsons where Homer built a birdhouse?

For the record, I seemed to have not registered NTP's entire oeuvre. Was there a pic somewhere of lightning bolts coming out of his arse?

This raises dangerous possibilities. Who is this guy, exactly? If he's willing to engage in deception of this magnitude to gain the trust of the forum, what kind of game is he playing? He could easily be some kind of infiltrator or mole seeking to gain the trust of the community in order to obtain the personal information of members for doxxing purposes.

See my comment a few weeks back in the private lounge after my recent 'Appreciation Thread' where I question the validity of the Forum's Reputation System by clearly-laying out exactly why I shouldn't be trusted with any vital information about Forum Ops.

Some of you guys mightn't have been around Leftists to the degree I have, and mightn't be able conceive of just how dedicated True Believers are to infiltration and subversion. This is exactly why both Governments and Silicon Valley are the way they are at the moment.

It's easy to think of this as paranoia, but some members come from countries without Free Speech protections and severe financial and physical penalties for Thought Crime. Australia is much further along the road to Hell than the US.

We are officially a Threat to the Status Quo, as revealed by the co-ordinated attack on ROK earlier this year. I expected a harder crackdown, but, luckily for us, there's fires springing up everywhere due to Trump and the Refugee Crisis that took some of the heat off of us but doesn't preclude Fixated Gamma Weirdos from obsessing over us. Still, I'd suggest not be too complacent about the value of your identity, particularly if your career involves making nice with Leftists, at least until this witch hunt culture ends.

I have a theory:

Several years ago, before the last presidential election, a new forum member came up. He portrayed himself as an older established gentleman who gave great advice. He was very anti-obama to the point it was blatant racism.

It seemed like a lot of the info he put up was copy and pasted. A lot of it also sounded like a woman wrote it. I called him out on it. Then he sent me pictures of himself on a boat with women and a copy of some Edward jones statement with his name and numbers blocked out that said he had three million dollars. Kind of like this:

Quote: (05-17-2016 02:49 PM)The Beast1 Wrote:

I'm hesitant to write this, but NTP awhile back sent me pictures of himself, him and some girl, boat, and him swimming. I was taken aback by this as I didn't ask for it. It came after I replied to something of his in another thread. It was the same guy in each picture.

I've long since deleted them at the request of him nor did I do a quick Google search to make sure they were clear.

Still not sure where my opinion on this whole matter is.

Well this so happened to be the first day I owned an iPhone. I was at a bar, and I went overboard insulting this guy. I got a temporary ban and the posts were removed.

My theory about that guy wasn't that he was a spy or the thought police, but that he was some social media intern at a desk somewhere who had the unfortunate job of cruising the internet and posting things like he had.

I hope this is making sense, but if all that stuff NASA Test pilot wrote is fake, there has to be a reason to do it. I really doubt someone would do it for kicks.

Its election time coming up, and maybe you guys caught him or her before they could start their job.

Also, Id imagine being a NASA test pilot requires you to sign some type of confidentiality agreement. It probably says you can't go on the internet and say you are a NASA test pilot.

One more thing, any boat that a NASA test pilot would own would have global internet coverage.

Again, I hope that makes sense.

Aloha!
