Government crackdowns on speech/actions that hurt the narrative

I wanted to start a thread to identify those who are being arrested or attacked by the government to halt speech efforts or actions that conflict with the establishment narrative. I believe that 2016 will indeed be the year of the crackdown as governments becoming increasingly nervous of their position, especially in Europe.

To start...

1. Dutch Man at Protest arrested for wearing Pig Hat because it "May offend Muslims"

2. Police investigating their very own to see who leaked information about the Cologne rapes: http://www.sueddeutsche.de/panorama/uebe...-1.2875165

3. Three teenagers in Austria are arrested for possessing Nazi flags and giving Nazi swastikas as tattoos (to people who wanted one): http://www.thelocal.at/20160205/young-na...ty-austria

I expect crackdowns to accelerate as Europe descends into chaos.

I probably wouldn't have posted this but since the swastikas were already mentioned, I can't be blamed for derailment:

Matt Heimbach got fired by the DCS recently after having been laid in just a few days before. Allegedly it isn't because of his political views but because he said something "violent" in a seminar. I've seen many interviews with him, I don't buy it. He seems too reasonable.

German official was fired for being a member of Eurosceptic right-wing party:

Quote:Quote:

The city administration Dusseldorf has fired an official, because he is an active member of the AFD. A corresponding report in the "Bild" newspaper confirmed a spokeswoman for the city on Friday.

The officer was competent in the housing office for the placement of refugee dwellings. "His party membership does not fit to this workspace," said City Manager Burkhard Hintzsche (SPD) to justify the displacement of the blade.

During the election campaign, the parties make each other responsible for the refugee crisis. SPD Vice Ralf Stegner is asking for counter the right-wing populists clearly.

Swedish bus driver loses his job:

Quote:Quote:

A Swedish bus driver has found himself out of work and the subject of an investigation after he was discovered to have shared news articles from right-leaning news sites.

Expressing concern about the equal treatment of passengers, the transport authority of Dalarna, Sweden suspended one of their bus drivers on Monday after they were alerted to his on-line activities the same day. Although the driver has not been named, local news Dalarnas Tidningar reports the man had shared posts critical of mass migration on Facebook.

For anyone who has the balls, the operative question to ask the police is "or what".

Alternately you can ask "have I broken any laws". If the answer is in the positive then ask which ones precisely. If the answer is in the negative then don't be afraid to press the issue. Ask "if I haven't broken any laws why are you harassing me?"

If they cite specific (or "grey area") laws you've broken and you really have some serious cojones then tell them you're not intimidated and challenge them to arrest you.

I'm not saying you should be rude or get in their faces, but unless you're in a country where you have a legitimate fear of being black-bagged then the least you can do to stand up for your rights is to stand your ground in the face of this kind of piss weak intimidation.

And yes, I've done this several times in the past (regarding issues other than free speech) and the officers have backed off in each instance.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

There's a good source from the unlikliest of places: Salon.com . I highly recommend going back and reading Glenn Greenwald columns from 2011 and 2012. They chronicle fairly well Obama's abuse of "terrorism" to justify circumventing the rule of law including his harassment and mistreatment of journalists who published information that went against the narrative of the time.

This morning British police arrested a man, Matthew Doyle, over this tweet:

[Image: 327E20A200000578-0-image-m-4_1458745867600.jpg]

This guys is a partner in a PR firm and also politically a UKIP supporter. UKIP is the major Eurosceptic party in Britain and had 4 millions vote in the last election.

It is so stupid that native Englishman has absolutely no right to tweet or simply ask an even a stupid question while hundreds of trained terrorists are free in Europe.

British police has made absolutely zero arrest after Brussels attack.

Great, another example for me to throw in people's faces whenever they refer to Cameron as Britain's "conservative" Prime Minister...

Some of the mocking replies are odd to me.

Can a good attorney go and mock the crown prosecutors using those Tweets and say, "They're insisting racial hatred, why haven't they been arrested?"

A lot of these arrests seem politically motivated by leftist prosecutors to silence dissent. A good attorney should be able to flip it back.

Any folks versed in UK law able to speak on this?

And THIS is why i say there is no hope for europe. When things like this happen it shows you that europeans are on a self destructive path and will stop at nothing to destroy themselves... and you know what?

I say Let them.

Cleary politically motivated and the ruling Left across ALL of Western Europe are increasingly abusing police forces as their own hits-squat. Prosecution/Legislation across the board has been carefully seeded with left-wing ideologists.

IF the right ever manages to claw its way back into being politically viable then this is where it should focus most of its attention. Placing young right wing/conservative people in the following areas:

- Executive (beaurocrats)
- Legislative (judicial)
- Executive (military, police, security forces)

The Green parties in particular need to be isolated and actively pursued/suppressed. There should be an ongoing propaganda campaign to highlight their culpability in the suffering that they already have and will have caused.

It's incredible when you compare this with some of the jihadist imams such as Anjem Choudary who are allowed to preach violence and recruit for Isis in the UK.

Berlin police crack down on far-right hate postings

Quote:Quote:

Berlin police say they've raided 10 residences in the German capital in a crackdown against far-right hate speech on social media.

Police spokesman Michael Gassen said Wednesday the morning raids involved nine suspects who used Facebook, Twitter and other social networks to spread hate. He says authorities want to emphasize "the Internet is not a law-free zone" and that if illegal speech is posted "it won't be without consequences."

The suspects, identified as men between 22 and 58, are alleged to have posted anti-migrant messages, anti-Semitic messages and songs with banned lyrics, among other things. They face possible fines if found guilty.
