What do you guys rock with a Nike Track Jacket?

Mine is similar but it's all black with a grey logo, and I haven't worn it in a while. I'd rather not have something I paid quite a bit for($80 4 years back) go to waste.

I generally rock this while I am Being Slavic, Smoking and preferrable squatting close to the ground.

Real talk here. How many of you would consider rocking a fur mink? I'm somewhere between it being badass or the worst decision of a person's life.

^ I like to shop at Overland Sheepskin Co., a high-end fur store based in the Southwest. One time I visited a store in Steamboat Springs, CO and they had this $3200 Coyote fur coat:

Looks goofy as fuck on this shit-grinning turd in the picture, but it looked big baller pimp when I put it on. I wore just to mess around, but I felt like I could actually rock it... though totally bombastically - borderline ironically.

I'm right there with you on both of the above minks in a suit or with a blazer. I would feel like a God wearing them around, but it would have to be ironic as hell. Who knows if I ever get some quick cash I can blow I would get one.

If I had Fuck You Money I would have snagged that jacket. There is also a $500 lambskin leather jacket there that also looks and fits great on me on the real. I'm actually looking to pick that one up.

Don't know why all the models this company uses look like rigid effeminate chodes but whatever. That jacket looks rugged as hell on me.

My cousin trapped a Fisher a couple winters ago and I acquired the pelt. I took the pelt to a furrier and had him make a collar for my amazing wool coat.

I get stopped almost every day I wear it, most often by baller looking, older gentlemen. Young women, too, are all over it. And the story, chicks love the story.

Next to the kimono silk pocket squares I mentioned earlier, this is my most complimented wardrobe accessory.

I'm not a big believer of peacoking but looks like it worked for you. I approached couple of girls during winter wearing these saying how they look like a Game of thrones character.

I'm currently shopping for summer clothes guys and I have good news for short people in Canada, I discovered that Banana Republic is selling XS items for men this year. I was waiting for this for a while now since S doesn't fit me very well. Do you guys know any other good clothing shops that sell XS items

Anyone else have a fly lighter?

Scored me one of these babies today off a recommendation from the owner of a cigar shop I frequent.

When the flame setting is turned up to max it looks almost like a mini campfire. Definitely a cool alternative to a zippo.

Random question - any solution to floppy collars?

Once in awhile when I'm going tieless my shirt collars aren't symmetrical in the way they fall against the lapel of the suit jacket, and sometimes don't even stay tucked in - it looks horrible if one collar ends up outside the suit jacket lapel. One solution is button down collars, which I feel are too casual. Or wide collar, but those don't suit my face type.

I am using metal collar stays btw but it doesn't seem to help.

This tends to happen with my shirts that have gone through many washes - does this mean the shirt is finished or is there anything I can do?

Iron the collar before you wear it out.

Should have mentioned this before. Ironing the collar works for my newer shirts but for the ones that I've worn many times it's not as useful.

Starch it.

Some guys say starching kills the shirt fabrics. I am not one of those guys.

I starch my collar, cuffs and upper chest/neck area of my shirts. I love a crisp, dazzling white shirt with razor tight collars.

This thread is lagging. The last pics were all furs and heavy jackets.

What are you guys doing for the summer?

I finally stepped up and secured myself a pair of these persol shades:

^ Fuck yeah, where? Did you get a deal? I looked they were expensive even replicas from China.

Also I think sweaters and turtle necks can easily look weak on guys. McQueen nails sweaters and turtle necks everytime somehow without looking grandpa or soft.

The turtleneck is the fedora of the sweater world. If you're a full-time touring jazz musician, you can wear a fedora. If you're Steve McQueen you can wear a turtleneck.

Sad day when WIA's style pics don't load in your browser.

@Travesty - Go to a sunglasses hut and try on the different sizes so you know if 52 or 54 fits better on you but don't buy them there because they will hit you with the full retail price. You can get them off amazon much cheaper because they rely on volume for their profits. I was skeptical if they would be real at over $100 cheaper than retail but they are exactly the same as the ones I tried on in the store.

If I was rich I would have dropped some real cash on a vintage pair of persols. They used to be made by some company called ratti but now I guess almost all italian designer sunglasses are made by luxottica, which is owned by the same parent company as sunglasses hut. There are a few small differences in the new design.

Either way, it was a much needed graduation from my raybans. I feel a cut above the rest now when it comes to my sunglasses game since everyone and their sister has raybans.

No. Turtle necks are "in" since a few years now. Watch the slideshows of the 2014 or 2015 fall/winter Tom Ford, Zegna, Brioni, Etro, Loro Piana, Armani, Lanvin, ect collections (and will be the same next winter), half of the models wear turtle necks.

IMO you can't find something more elegant and classy (and admittedly simple, but real class = sobriety) than a turtle neck. It mixes with a suit, with stylish jeans, with a blazer, with a black leather jacket, with an elegant coat, with a bomber jacket (another thing "in" this spring and next fall) ......to keep it short, with anything. Half of my winter sweaters wardrobe is turtle necks.

Best is cashmere or cashmere-silk blend, but a quality merino wool is still good. Add a luxury watch, expensive shoes and you're a winner.

So...

I've officially gone off the deep end in fashion...

New purchase recently.

Its not my exact outfit, but I rock the jacket often. Baby blue pastel blazer is loud as sh-t. Because I am youthful looking, I rock w/a V-neck

I've picked up some amazing pieces as well.

Can't rave enough about the Aqua lines from Isaia...

Or the Isaia Dustin Body. Its totally unlined except for shoulders/sleeves and partially canvassed in the chest. Totallly soft and casual blazer. Feels like wearing PJs or a T-shirt. SO AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE...

I have one in cashmere (Fall/Spring) and one in linen-silk.

Below is the exact model I own in linen-silk. Its so light I feel like im wearing a t-shirt. Navy with shimmering threads of medium blue. Very unique when the lights hits it

Cantarelli. On yoox it runs about 350-450 NWT.

On ebay maybe a little cheaper. Highly recommend you buy NWT for something like this. Its an unlined jacket with a rough weave which makes it very casual.

Its def a newer season... and the fabric is good

Just on aside... Cantarelli Absolute Light is a lower end line (like ZZegna) but still rocks very fashionable...if you can cop it. Those run in the 150-250 range...

Edit- spotted this on yoox just now. Its a size 42 but runs trimmer in the chest/waist. Same exact size as mine.

You my friend no your stuff and have great taste.

Steve McQueen wears a sweet pair of Persol ratti's in the final scene of The Thomas Crown Affair.

I saw a very similar pair recently for sale for $895, even if I had the cash I couldn't drop that on a pair of sunglasses.

I do own 3 pairs of Persol's though, got to love outlet malls in America.

My old man has a pair of old school Wayfarers from the 80s, made by Bausch and Lomb.

Scored one of these in a louder light red color. Walked around downtown when I was in Corpus Christi wearing it. Got stopped a good 5 or 6 times with people complimenting me on it.

Was wearing a black with light pin strips collared shirt underneath, black jeans, and black leather shoes.

It's out of season, but people definitely like that look.
