The guys who do best are the party promoters who build a list and sponsor parties at upscale hotel ballrooms or high end clubs on their off nights - now you are a bonafide VIP and the character owners see you once a month or once a week as a profit center. You get a cut and first pick of the talent.
So how to create a good list - social media is your friend - in the west most major cities have various types of Yong Professionals clubs that schedule events - find one and rent their list or create your own - promote/produce private hotel parties with live entertainment to large Black Tie Galas with a portion supporting a local charity that gives you an up scale stamp of approval among the local elites including law enforcement commanders or chiefs who also like high end venues events with their wives or mistresses and scare off the local drugs kingpins and or criminal elements.
Create a private production company and and hire some hot local ladies as your PR reps or event planners on EE pay scales who will work with some local social media marketing managers to both build the list and promote events on social media - private fashion shows are always a decent draw with young local models. Your staff's job is to is to fill the venues - this is not a lot of cost... Get biz cards made for your production company with you listed as the Executive Producer... your worst case cost is covering the cost of the venue and decorations for the event and the entertainment - create your own Young Professionals group and make sure your PR reps include top local modeling agencies and local Unis talent and of course have the door bouncers enforce "feis kontrol" and security for any crashers without a ticket.
I have a friend who did exactly this as a youngster at Boston University a city with a huge population of what became known as Euro kids - the worlds wealthiest families who send their kids to school in Boston a safe city where kidnapping is almost unheard of. These were students from around the world who favored the high end European designers from Diesel to Prada and everyone else in between (Armani was also a favorite) ... they had no exclusive venues among the Boston beer and whiskey pubs so he borrowed some funds ($2,000) from his Dad and started doing private parties at the high end hotels - he charged a larger than average ticket cover (use Eventbrite like Donald Trump does - about as high end as it gets)... You get the tickets income and the Hotel gets the pre event dinners, rooms for those who do not want to drink and roam the city or drive buzzed, (Get a group rate and discreetly sell the bang logistics to the list) and the Event Bar revenues which they will often give you a cut of. He was Jewish so he eventually got a lawyer to handle the event contracts. As he became successful the venues were just happy to serve his clientele list which he kept secret. This biz grew to where he eventually owned three high end clubs.... Boston closes at 2AM so eventually he grew out of Boston after the blue collar mayor pulled some dumb stunts like breaking up after party stragglers in front of the clubs by driving police squad cars slowly through them a low speed with lights and alarms on - these were the sons and daughters of some of the wealthiest and most powerful families in the world largely built as a list from BU.
Suffice to say this ignorance enraged him and he took his skills to NYC and partnered with property owners who paid for renovations and now owns two of the most up scale events locales in NYC doing everything from Victoria's Secret after parties, Entertainment wrap and or launch parties to high end Jewish Weddings... he has lived a blessed life - never married and prefers a constant stream of ingenues in his life - he loses interest when they hit they wall at 21! He also opened a new restaurant in the booming seaport area serving an affluent Boston clientele.
Time to up your personal game.
Point is you are tech savvy can hire PR reps, Event Planners and Managers and social media experts - you can stay small or grow as big as you like just about anywhere in the world you like - the less you own the more mobile you are and a promoter/producer can game anywhere - many of the Boston and NYC Young Professional ball galas feature as many as 1,500 people depending upon the fire code capacity for a venue - Eventbrite can even manage the male/female mix of attendees as last thing you ever want is a sausage fest - and everyone shows up in Black Tie Tux or good Suits with the ladies in little black cocktail dresses or gowns with their best hair and makeup and of course the ticket revenue and beverage cut covers all your event costs with typically a 30% gross profit or more depending upon how crazy you get with the entertainment - plenty of live brass or jazz and blues bands in most cities for short money as compared to Bono and U2 etc... Or just a good popular local DJ with a following for even less. Point is you have the tech skills - build a list - up scale ticket prices do the initial screening and decent dress codes the rest and even if you start small with a local student DJ who can spin good sets - your employees do the work - you get first count of the Eventbrite tickets and just have to make sure you get an honest cut of the beverages gross or just skip the beverages and the venue will love you. With UBER everyone gets home safe and you become the host with the most and attract the women who are not intimidated but rather want to be your orbiters and lovers - I always enjoyed the sexy sensual lasses with little black dresses, pearls and no panties - abundance game on - rinse and repeat. Of course as host you do just that host the VIPs and make sure your event and PR ladies bird dog the best talent with VIP area passes. The local YPs ballers reserve VIP tables and cover all costs and beverages tabs.
If you decide to LTR any of the ladies you have in rotation don't ask or tell them - just lead them into your world they way you want them to play - the keepers will stay until you decide you no longer want them in rotation.
