BB has slim and extra slim. RVF folks probably want extra slim. IE waist in the 32 around.
Should the white dress shirt still be your wardrobe staple?
If you are looking for cheap dress shirts which are otherwise serviceable, JCPenny will have a sale on Stafford shirts on Black Friday. I believe the price range for the shirts they are selling is $10-25 depending on which type of dress shirt you buy from them. I like Stafford shirts, though they are a little thinner than other brands so you may need an undershirt as well.
I think there could be something to this. I wore a white shirt yesterday and it seems like there was more eye contact than usual.
I thought dress shirts were kind of "safe"...isn't it better to look more like a "thug" or "edgy"?

If only you knew how bad things really are.

Somewhat off-topic question: I have a lot of dark ink on my arms and chest. Plain white dress shirts are usually pretty thin and I can see all my tattoos through them. Are there any fabrics/brands where this wouldn't be a problem? Undershirts are an option only 2-3 months out of the year. Where I live it's stupidly fucking hot and I sweat like a blind lesbian in a fish market.
I don't have tats but I also sweat, live in a fairly hot place. I wear undershirts in part because I sweat. Avoids transparency, more comfortable against my skin that than a crisp shirt, and keeps me from sweating through the shirt right away.
I wouldn't if I was going to be out in the heat a lot, but then wouldn't be wearing a dress shirt anyway. If a cotton undershirt wouldn't work for you, maybe look into some kind of synthetic fabric designed to wick moisture?

Maybe if you're 19.
A lot of girls LOVE an in shape, well dressed, clean cut man. White or black.

Hmmm. Maybe I really need a wardrobe makeover.
How would you guys rate Jos.A.Bank shirts compared to Brooks Brothers?

How does BB slim shirts fit for guys with broad chests/shoulders? Seems so hard to find a properly fitting dress shirt for the lifting man. My closest fit is a DKNY slim fit dress shirt.
I would say so, the crisp white shirt is the standard for men, it can be worn for any occasion. A white shirt with jeans looks very attractive.
