I love certain things about London,Architecture,great parks all over,being able to walk everywhere ,Cultural aspects ...but i'm with rudbwoy when it comes to costs.
Unless you're doing fairly well i.e. £70,000 and above per annum ,you can feel like a pauper when you're out on the town.
I'm very lucky as I have a rent controlled flat that's Central,,and can step out of my front door into the hustle and bustle and get most places nightlife wise by foot..my favourite mode of transport .

If you want to try a city outside of London ,purely for nightlife,chasing skirt then visit Newcastle not Nottingham.

Yeah the girls wear nothing, they are easy BUT and it's a MAJOR BUT they tend to be everything that is wrong with British girls, the absolute worst of the worst, unfeminine, rude, arrogant, loud, annoying, drunken, vile etc etc etc. Just watch the new reality show 'Geordie Shore' on YouTube to get an idea. i lived in London for 7 years and only spent maybe a week outside (essex, brighton, midlands)
it is the most multicultural city i have ever been to. there are not that many english people around

great place to party but you need cash and it helps if you know people so you get to clubs without problems and get some free booze at promotor's table
my budget per night was o average 100 quid 20 to get in 20 cab back home rest for beers and cocktails.
beer is 6 and cocktails 12-21.
to get to top clubs you either need to be on the guest list or come with a promotor.
all the top clubs are either in mayfair or Chelsea/kensington.
lots of Chinese girls and Arab guys in clubs recently as they have all the money now.
i was coming out of 141 park lane and bunch of 20 year-old Arabs were jumping into white lambo and white porsche turbo.
in merah random young arab kid was downing ace of spades gold champer out of bottle and wanted me to take a sip but i declined.
lots of pretty girls both English and internationals. lots of them go to a club not to get laid but to have free drinks.
girls get to club for free before 11 and if they pretty enough they get invited to a table and get free drinks.
people say i look like Ralph Lauren model but i still have not been getting any action. when i was wearing my Ozwald boateng jacket i was being complemented by lots of guys and zero girls. only time i had girls approaching and was scoring easy puzzy was when i came back from Miami in winter and i was ridiculous tanned.

A very good honest report I must say! I lived there for 4 years and it was not for me. Chinatown is expensive in London to say the least.
East London is mostly curry houses.

Lived in south east most of my life and moved up to birmingham 6 years ago for study.

My opinion, everything bad, people say is true. If you want girls go to a university town with a lively nightlife and a wide mix of internationals coming in and you will find good girls. recently went to edinburgh and the city itself has an unusually high count of good looking women. AVOID GLASGOW.

Bristol, Reading, Leeds, Slough, Newcastle, Hertfordshire, Watford, Cardiff (Wales), Nottingham and Huddersfield to name a few.

They're all light-years behind in terms of the sophistication of London. These towns and unitary authorities are like NJ, as apose to London being NYC - You can still find hot women out there, but not as much as a hassle to pull in larger cities if you get my drift. You don't pay cover charge for the majority of the clubs out there, the booze or beer is much cheaper, as London's elite clubs and mst frequented venues, you're looking at £4.50-5.00 a beer - Thats about $6-8 USD. Outside of these London venues, drinks are from £2.50 which is about $3 USD.

Don't waste your money in London. You will be rejected by managers and doorstaff, if you havent come in with a bunch-of-women by 11PM. Most clubs open around 9PM and finish by 3AM. Some clubs go on till 4AM, latest. These are the clubs were the ''Hot 10's'' are (Penthouse, Funky Buddha, Faces etc).

Americans are NOT loved nor entirely liked here, I don't know where another poster said you will get browny-points for having an accent, but don't come here thinking you will. I recently saw a group of Abercrombie-esque-all-American lads get humiliated by some girls in West End's Bar Rumba and got CRUSHED, verbally crushed.

Aussie-men/women and SA's are more tolerated than US residents here. I have no clue why. Maybe because of similiar sports/culture.

If you're going to go to London, go to Lounge-Bars and Open-Bars which are FREE or £5 cover charge before a specified time. They're much much much more consistant in fun, pulling and booze and much easier on the wallet.

Unless you have boss-paper to travel via black-cab which starts at £10 and have an apartment/flat inside Central London's hotspots, goodluck pulling hotties back from any of those Central London clubs.

You are absolutely right about other parts of the UK. Most of the lizards I pounded and got along with were usually from other parts of U.K.

There is more to UK than London (I guess..) but as a single London male, I could not live outside of London. I had fam in Scouser land and other parts which I visited and I found these areas pretty shyte in general.
The creature comforts provided by London (for what they were worth) disabled me from even considering living outside of London.
