Local men ridiculous guarding, strong family teaching to behave like princesses and historical customs(women are expected by society to keep face, keep high standards and secure advantageous marriage).Countries like Poland are also catholic but local women mentality is completely different.
Generally genes (slavic vs Mediterranean) are more important than religion (orthodox vs cstholic) in determining girls behaviour.(Russian women mentality though orthodox is more close to polish who are also slavic but catholic while Italian women mentality is completely opposite to polish though they are both Catholic but Poles are Slavs while Italians are Mediterraneans).
Religion plays bigger role in how genes of promiscuousness and horniness express themselves but the existence of genes (relative power) has to do with the tribe.

Yeah but so is Poland, France Brazil, Peru, Mexico and the DR. Hell even the Anglican church is basically just catholicism without the Pope. But access to England poon hasn't been hampered. Plus it doesn't seem like young people in western Europe take religion all that seriously anymore.

Kamaki's genetic explanation is interesting, but doesn't quite explain the reports of these women being down to get down when they are outside of their country. I got my Spanish flag last year and it was in the US, not Spain. Didn't have much luck in Spain or Italy when I went there some years back.

I think in Spain the reign of Franco had a huge impact on the society and women. And he was dead not so long ago (70s)

From Wikipedia:
Quote:Quote:

Francoism professed a devotion to the traditional role of women in society, that is: loving child to her parents and brothers, faithful to her husband, residing with her family. Official propaganda confined her role to family care and motherhood. Immediately after the war, most progressive laws passed by the Republic aimed at equality between the sexes were made void

I've met a lot of girls whose parents didn't let them have sex before marriage and couldn't bring a boy home.
Girls growing in a family like that are less likely to be easy ones.

So arrived in Granada yesterday. First impressions are that its really a stunning little town - beautiful architecture, loads of amazing streets and alleyways, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Cheap cheap cheap too, a beer is 1.50/2 Euro with a free plate of tapas. You can easily have 5 beers and dinner for less than 10. The girls, hmmm loads of kinda cute girls but yet to see a stunner. I get the feeling this is going to be an all out war to get anything though. Going to a huge party at the biggest disco in town tonight so am keen to see what the talent will be like.

Nudge I don't know if you ski but try a week end in Sierra Nevada. The after ski is amazing.

G - Im here for around 3 months, doing an intensive Spanish course.

Julio - Yeah Iv snowboarded a few times so am keen to check out the Sierra Nevada.

So last night was a sausage party, as to be expected at a big warehouse club playing techno. A few cute girls there, tried a cheeky mack but they were having none of it. I don't think big clubs are going to be the way to go here. Will keep reporting back.

A tip on Spanish girls, big clubs can be the way to go but you need to catch the girls in their right element. For example, if a girl is inside the club dancing, and you approach her, without trying to dance with her first, she's probably going to assume you have been checking her our for some time, decided what you were gonna say, looking to get with her, etc. There is a kind of contrived atmosphere about approaching a Spanish girl on the dance floor.

Where the money is in Spain, and guys who have had success there can back me up on this, is smoking areas. Some clubs will allow you to smoke inside so this may not come into play, but if there is a smoking terrace or an outside area, interactions are more natural. I don't smoke cigarettes, but even I realised the potential of carrying around a pack with me. There is a plethora of excuses you can come up with carrying them around if you don't smoke. "They are my friends and I'm holding them for him" was my go to line. If you don't smoke and don't wanna carry around cigarettes, say "I'm quitting and the smell of the smoke calms me down" There are ALWAYS girls trying to bum cigarettes there is your opener right there.

There's a lot of talk on this forum how Spain isn't a good place to game, or how its too hard. That to me just says your game isn't strong enough. Spain is a challenge, hardly anyone would debate that. But honestly it's a great feeling getting laid in a place where other guys claim it is too hard. Any gringo with a functioning penis can get laid in some of the SA countries, but that doesn't show you have game. Hone your game in a place where it's deemed hard to get laid and you will find other places are an absolute cakewalk like the guys from Toronto. Obviously there are exceptions to be made for the guys that can't speak Spanish as I think the overall level of English in Spain is very poor. Probably one of the worst in western europe. If you have decent Spanish and are persistent, the only person to blame if you aren't getting laid in Spain is yourself.

Great tip.

Here is my Spanish Nightlife Tip that I have been meaning to write about for over two summers:

Pick up girls on Street before they go into clubs, then roll in. This works great in Spain.

Nighttime Street Game is king there. Once they are in the clubs, they become exponentially harder.

I always feel the rush of victory washing over me like an awesome wave when I swoop a fly Spanish girl.

Agreed.

PastillaRoja - Great tip. Now that I think of it the few approaches I did at this club were on the DF, its where I usually do dance approaches but they weren't being receptive at all. Will def carry around cigs now at night and try the smoking areas, I usually smoke one or 2 casually anyway. Though when I went to this club It was freezing outside so everyone just smoked inside anyway. Gonna have to be prepared to be bombarded with requests too, Spaniards have no shame when it comes to bumming a smoke.

Also great tip G, but I think its too cold for night street game now. When the weather warms up I think this town is going to come alive.

In other news my Spanish class is a nightmare! I was hoping for a nice mix of Europeans and maybe a slutty American girl or 2. What do I get? 6 young, annoying, ugly American girls who speak Spanish with the worst accent I've ever heard, and then me. Lucky I already have friends here or I'd be hell depressed.

I should have mentioned I perfected this move during Barcelona in May a few years ago and really honed down on it in Alicante 2 summers ago.

So yeah, a warm weather move. Even better in Alicante were you can bounce in and out (so to speak) of bars and clubs with relative ease. And none of the spots are that great, or have heavy doors.

It got to the point in Alicante where this was all I was doing; Night Street Game Approaches then bring girls into bars or clubs.

The success ratio was so much higher than bar/club approaches.

And I am no novice to bar/club approaches.

Honestly, this is the "key" to Spain.

(If there actually is a "key" to Spain).

This is code-cracking stuff.

Unlucky mate, one thing I found hilarious about my exchange in Spain was how many whiny american girls there were there, they all hung out in a clique the whole time, spoke no spanish, and then went home and wrote all these facebook statuses about how they were all so 'culturally enlightened' avoid them at all costs hahahaha

G - I can see that working wonders in BCN and Alicante in summer, problem is here there doesn't seem to be a nightlife zone (at least I havnt seen it). Bars and clubs are just scattered all over the place. In fact I was walking to a friends at around 12 on sat night and there was hardly anyone on the streets, just people in the bars. I'm sure things will pick up when the warm weather comes.

LPR - I know they are such dorks. I swear 75% of my language school is Americans and all they do is hang out with each other. I'd avoid them if I could, gonna be spending 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for the next month though (possibly longer if they stay on). I cant help but give off a really cold vibe too because they annoy me so much. They all think I hate them probably.

Yeah.

Really, no "nightlife zone" in Granada?

That sucks.

How is the quality of girls there?

Nup not that I have seen. There are squares and little streets with lots of restaurants and tapas bars but I wouldnt really call that nightlife, at least in the sense that I'm used to.

Quality of girls is decent, lots of cuties. Still yet to see a real stunner though.

Hi Manifesto [Image: smile.gif] Sorry I just mean't that due to the time of year unlikely to be a lot of action in Marbella or Malaga. As you are probably aware Marbella is summer tourist destination and so is Malaga to a lesser degree (although Malaga is also a working Spanish city). Any action I have got in Spain has always been with non Spanish women which probably comes as no surprise!. Just like Kamaki's info with the Greek islands the trick is probably to somehow find out where the Poles and Ukraines are holidaying in Spain this year and get there [Image: smile.gif]

Would it be smooth for a month in summer?

Can you relay any experiences (other than the ones you just gave)?

Speaking of which, Spanish youth employment just hit 56.5%.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/mar...bad-franco

At what point, does a fly foreign guy with good income start getting bonus points down there?

This was a while back, but I noticed in the student cities of Spain, it was the tall blonde Nordic guys who got a lot of attention thrown their way by the younger chicas.

I have been to Marbella 4-5 times but only short trips each time. In my opinion due to the difficulty with Spanish chicas the main option is foreign women working or holidaying there. I have also found the same dynamics in Almeria, Costa Blanca and Valencia regions.
