Fuck the girls, I'm impressed by how livable the city looks. Next time you should post a video shot in the ghetto, so we can have a clear idea of the whole place.

There's not much of a ghetto to speak of in international terms.

Just checked in to the Avalon in Gothenburg again.

If you want to feel that Sweden is cheap, just spend a week skiing in Norway. Suddenly everything feels cheap (hence the spur of the moment stop in Gothenburg).

I love this town. I feel it the minute I check into the Avalon, have my bags brought upstairs while I hit the lounge for a drink. All around me are well dressed, smiling, easy going people. Women are dressed in fur and heeled boots, sipping champagne looking fine.

I am about to head out to Bons for some food and then likely back to the Avalon Bar. Why mess with a great past experience? I will do it over again. I even grabbed the same room as before.

Thanks again Vicious. Your town is a gem.

Not sure if serious or trolling..

Seems like the common consensus that Gothenburg is an overall better experience than Stockholm in terms of attractiveness/easiness of women. I'm likely going to Sweden for 3 weeks in September and may just spend my entire stay in Gothenburg.

I'm not a big fan of "social circle" game, and would much rather creep on line wolves...but it seems unavoidable in Sweden. Based on what I just said, would I have a better time in Stockholm, or is it the same thing wherever you go in Sweden?

I think explaining what the hell 'creep on line wolves' means may help you to get a definitive answer on this?

True. I meant "lone wolves," but I guess that still doesn't make sense to most people. I mean that I'd rather find girls by themselves or in small groups, (girls who are actively looking to meet guys and get laid), rather than go out with a group of friends and meet girls through them.

In the US, for example, in certain parts of NYC it's possible to go out and get laid without having to deal with social circles. Yet in other parts of the US, such as college towns, (and in certain parts of NYC), the only way to really get laid is if you have a social network which gives you access to lots of hot girls.

I was wondering if Stockholm is any better than Gothenburg for meeting girls who aren't out in large groups of friends.. if Stockholm is a better city for meeting girls who are out in small groups and are looking to hook up.

Going to Sweden for 3 weeks and not spending anytime in Stockholm is foolish, there are different scenes there and I am sure you can find one that suits your needs.

The only problem you will have is that the place is expensive, so I hope you have deep pockets.

Makes sense. I'm going to book a flight to Stockholm first thing tomorrow. I'll probably head to Stockholm on August 14th And stay for 4 weeks. Or perhaps 2 weeks in Stockholm and 2 weeks in Gothenburg. Will have to see how I like it when I'm there. I'll likely check out Helsinki for 2 weeks after this. I'm curious about how expensive my entire stay will be. I'm living in East Village in Manhattan right now and paying $1,800/month rent for a 4th floor walk up apartment in an old building. I can't imagine a shitty apartment in a good area of Stockholm being much more than this. Am I wrong?

These data sheets are super helpful I'll definitely add some more info when I go to Sweden and see it myself.

If your reference is NYC then Swedish apartments in central locations are very cheap by comparison.

While I've been a fan of Gothenburg, the capital is a more international city and not as clique-ish. Add to this that Stockholm is also twice the size then it simple math that a first comer is best off going there first.

Check out some places on AirBNB for an idea of costs.

I can't edit the Original Post any more so I'll just say it here:

I DON'T recommend Sticky Fingers any more. It seems as if a lot of guys over the years have been coming to Gothenburg and at some times been disappointed by the quality. When I ask these guys what places they've gone to most of them mention that SF was a regular spot.

SF is bargain bin hunting. It's the place you go to if you just want the flag with no respect to quality. Guys feel intimidated by the dressed up, "snotty" atmosphere of the 'Avenue's" clubs like Lounge(s), Park Lane and Peacock.

YES, Swedes will be reserved, stand offish and not giving obvious tells in these clubs. But if you can power through that you shouldn't have a problem and your experience will be so much more better.

To me, when you go to a place as pricy as Sweden it makes zero sense to chase Tier 2 girls. You're simply not getting the price of the admission's worth at SF.

I ve been to malmo in 2001 and no joke as soon as i got off the train i saw the most beautiful woman working in the train station. She had to be one of the most beautiful that ive ever seen in europe!
My question is malmo a better stop to hit or should i try Gburg? Someone mentioned the women in malmo are better looking........any advice appriciated.

I'm in Gothenburg right now, I booked 7 days. I wonder if I have not made a mistake as I feel this 500k city is too big for my tastes. It feels like everybody are in their own bubbles. Maybe Malmö would have been a better choice. Hum hum. Anyway, I'll make the best out of my stay here.

University semesters have just started, and the top talent in Gothenburg usually congregates around the School of Business (Handelshögskolan) which is located in Vasastan, a short walk from the "main street" Avenyn. Check out the cafés around there and Kungsportsplatsen- Gothenburg has a great café culture IMO.

There's a large shopping mall called Nordstan about 15-20 minutes walk northwest of Vasastan. Worth checking out, always cute girls strolling through the stores there.

Can't comment on the current nightlife as I rarely go out anymore. There's always concerts happening in town though, actually a good opener would be "Hey, do you know any good bands playing in town tonight?" Hipster culture is strong in Gothenburg.

Thanks! Actually I was wrong this city is very nice. I arrived at night yesterday and people were rushing home so people were tense and in a hurry.

Today I walked around the city and its not too big at all. Mostly everything is within a 20 min walk. It's a beautiful city. I'm having a burger right now in the Rover, I'll check your info out and will let you know.

DarianFrey, I went around the business school but not too many people.

I found more people on Andra Långatta, which is lined up with bars, this was advised to me by a waitress this morning and the girl from the tourist office as well. I went to The Rover which is quite nice, like a pub atmosphere. Cool barmaid and very good hamburgers, nice local beer as well.

However, to meet people it was not ideal, I talked with the barmaid but most people are with their friends seated and chatting in a private setting.

This is like the worst time of the year for Game to travel in/to Sweden with college just starting. It's dryer than the Christmas.

Roosh gave his opinion on the nightlife in Gothenburg:

5 best nightclubs in Gothenburg.

Any opinions on the nightclubs such as Glow, Park Lane and Valand?
