I would most like to see him in with Bradley, but that's unlikely. I'd settle for a Cotto rematch. I have very little interest in the Khan fight or the Garcia fight.

Slightly off topic, but this has been boiling up inside of me.

Ok, so Floyd Mayweather is a convicted woman beater and people hate him. It is what it is; he’s a dick.

But how many professional players are woman beaters also - and that includes the two WNBA dykes that got arrested last week...yet no one boycotts those sports. Isn’t Ray Rice as bad as Floyd Mayweather? He wasn’t convicted, granted, but there’s indisputable video proof of him knocking his then fiancée the fuck out cold then dragging her out of the elevator like a lion with a fresh kill.

Where’s the consistency in the “outrage”? Am I missing something? Am I way off?

Glad somebody posted this. While I pay attention to sports, I'm not really a boxing fan. I'm from where Mayweather grew up...his old gym is right down the road.

No one in his hometown city likes him. I've literally never met one person in this city who was rooting for him. So I wondered why myself. Sure, there are the people who have an issue with wife-beaters and rich cocky guys, but I have a friend who wouldn't necessarily judge based on that, and he hates the guy. All my guy friends who would disregard wife-beating and cockiness hate him.

So before the fight I watched Pac and Mayweather highlight vids on YouTube.

Regardless of the money or wife-beating stuff, he's still pretty tough to like. He dodged Pac for 6 years, he makes guys jump up 3 weight classes to fight him (then fights at 2lbs over at weigh-in), he fights guys at the end of their careers...and couple that with his cockiness, he seems like the guy at my gym who thinks he's awesome at basketball but never plays with us.

Especially compared to Pacquiao, the other great fighter of his generation, starts his career at 120 pounds and only moves up to fight guys, to take belts at as many weight classes as he can, and who isn't as cocky about it.

So yeah, as a casual observer, there ya go.

Come on it's not like Pacquiao didn't force catch weights or fight guys late in their careers (De La Hoya). I do respect him massively for what he did at 130 against the likes of Morales, Barrera, and Marquez though.

I doubt the result would have been any different 5 years ago, although I think he would have pushed him harder then. The Mosley fight could well have been different if it happened earlier though, and the Cotto and De La Hoya fights (DLH was a part time fighter by the time May fought him, even worse for Pac).

Manny had a torn rotator cuff in his shoulder. He had asked for a toroidal shot before the fight but was denied. He also did not disclose his injury to the commission either.

I have no idea what's going to happen next. Not sure what to make of it either. A torn cuff hurts like hell. I've had one before. It takes the piss and vinegar out of your punches for sure.

Some people are supposedly suing Pacquiao for betting on him when he knew he had a shoulder injury. Good luck with that. All they would have had to do was read my posts and they could have made a ton of money this weekend. I need to sign off so I can go and buy some new suits with some of the money I made by not betting on the guy with the "shoulder injury."

Know your enemy and know yourself, find naught in fear for 100 battles. Know yourself but not your enemy, find level of loss and victory. Know thy enemy but not yourself, wallow in defeat every time.
