Check it if you've never heard it. I just discovered it the other day. It is epic win. A fucking masterpiece. Very superior album.

I'm quite surprised I've never heard any of these songs before. It's not the Beck you hear on the radio. The album sounds similar to Radiohead, close to Kid A or Hail to the Thief.

That came out about 7 years ago I think. I was listening to this album during a time when I had a heartbreak from a oneitis and it might have made things worse. It's a beautiful album, but the saddest, most gut-wrenching album he's made to date. I mean compared to the fun post-modern, zaniness of Odelay, it's hard to believe it's the same artist. It was inspired by a really bad breakup he had.

I agree. Incredible album. I like Superwolf, by the same, as well.
