You're In Her Movie

The female of California is a rare breed of narcissist. Not only is her mind completely saturated with entertainment media, it has become a part of her identity. Due to unrelenting exposure to such programming throughout her formative years, she prefers to live out her existence within a bubble of cognition which allows her to experience life as her own ongoing motion picture.
This feature is staring her, written by her, and directed by her. However, the ending of her movie is unwritten, and the plot is open for editing. All a man must do is introduce theatrics in the form of action, adventure, drama, fantasy, mystery, or thrill to her story and he will be received as a welcomed cast member.
As with all fictional narratives, introducing any element of reality must be avoided. Reality is interpreted as boring, and any man that crosses this line will be ejected from her theater as would a disruptive member of the audience.

This is true anywhere TV's exist, to some degree. But probably more so in the state where Hollywood is.
Most main characters that are men have to go through a whole movie to become the hero, or at the very minimum a training-montage. But if one looks at movies today, one can see that most have women ending up in a very good situation just because ....she was a little cute. Sometimes not even because of that.
She just has to want to do something and cry a little and she gets her way.
Studies after studies have proven that the "every one is a winner" mentality only breeds mediocrity and even resent towards the world, when daddy's little princes ends up working as a teacher, she feels that is below her.
Movies create a false sense of reality and the people that gravitate towards Hollywood are the one most influenced by the perverted media.
NomadofEU - They are doing you a favor by ending the relationship. Would you event want to have one with people like that?! Or even have sex?!
If you are in Cali you have a even harder time finding someone who you can also talk with, but it's not a lost cause.
Best of luck!

A girl is only the movie preview, you're the goddamn movie.
Or better yet, write your own book.

We all have had bad experiences; the catalyst to find a "way out" so to speak.
I resonate with what op has wrote.
Just look at what people do on instagram; take a photo of something then post some lame ass quote as the caption.
You lost a competition? Some crap about being a good loser
You broke up? Some crap about how "the time you've had together was good wishing her the best"
Gym selfie? Some stupid quote about transformation along with a lengthy monologue on how far you've gone blablabla
The messages I get on my phone from girl I pump and dump are essentially emotional tirades about how I'm an asshole, but the time we had together was good.
Everything has to be one big hollywood dramatic moment with these people. I don't doubt that they don't realise how whiney and narcissistic they are.
