I'm sure this is something many of you do all ready, but I've recently started doing this and it's been a welcome addition to my routine. From time to time we all feel a bit fatigued, down, stressed whatever the fuck you want to call it, there are times your not firing on all cylinders. I'm not talking about chronic depression where you need a full lifestyle overhaul I'm just talking about day to day bullshit.
In the good old days when we were much closer to chimps than our current state if one of your fellow primates annoyed you, you punched him in the face. This is how you displayed your displeasure at being slighted. A crude form of communication no doubt but it worked. Nowadays you may encounter many annoying humans while traversing the modern urban jungle. The standard wisdom is to let it roll off your back, don't let it affect you, don't sweat the small stuff etc.
Easy to say, difficult to practice and not nearly as fun as physical confrontation. What I've started doing recently is getting in my truck and going for a drive with the radio off. Once on the road I proceed to shout as load as possible over and over again, I might slap the steering wheel and throw in some profanities for good measure. If you've never done this your missing out, it's fun. I think this is a great way to release your daily build up of rage.
Give it a go, get in your car and let rip, tap into your inner primate. I recently started doing this on the way to gym while playing Pantera, it has become my staple pre-workout.
