Those of you who follow my posts might remember one where a woman who I was casually dating tried to make it into a relationship and when I turned down her advances she "broke up with me" (in her mind).
She then wrote me a series of nasty emails, telling me not to respond. So I didn't. For months.
The problem was I wanted her back. This was the type of woman who is up for anything and who I have a history with, so these is an ease of connection that's hard to create with someone new. She has very few inhibitions, esp. when it comes to me. She's the first woman I did anal with and she was a sex buddy before and after my marriage, among other things.
I didn't want to lose face and call her, though. Here is how I got her to contact me.
Someone who I'm friends with had their email hacked and I got one of those weird, nonsensical emails, as did 30 of her other contacts. I forwarded the hacked email to Sex Buddy to make it look like my own email was hacked (this took a bit of doing, but it can be pulled off). By doing this, I was initiating contact to see what would happen.
She showed up at my door, unannounced, within twelve hours. She said she thought I'd sent the email. I was able to save face (and maintain hand) by saying "Er, I got hacked -- but glad you're here." Her response: "I was thinking about you -- it must have been serendipity!"
When I told her I didn't write her sooner because she said not to, she basically said to me something along the lines of "You have to be persistent when I get like that." In other words, she said not to take her too seriously. She gets in her moods. I should have known this, but I'd only seen those moods directed at others, not myself.
I'd have made better notes on what she was saying but I wasn't paying attention because she was wearing her usual minimal clothing and I was distracted. But that was the gist of it.
So, the huge blow up I assumed had happened was more like her either conjuring some drama or indulging her mood of the moment. The older I get, the more I really think women are completely different creatures from men. When I tell people to go away, it's not to play a game or because I'm cranky that day. It's because I mean it.
Maybe the fake hacked email idea can help some guys here initiate contact with women when they don't want to lose face. If she wants you, she'll seize the moment.
